lol ok you killed ragnaros 10 times a week for 2 weeks ? Hows that work then when you can only kill each boss once each week cos of being saved to the instance i think someones telling some fibs here shame on you :-/

Is he actually saying that an item that came out over a year after this hammer is better then it... Kid, did you even play pre TBC, This was the best weapon at the time, watch Fear the Holy Wrath video. Thanks Might of Menethil was out for likek 1 month before it was obseleted by level 62 greens..

PS, I'm making this on my druid, spent 750g now, alot cheaper then back in the day, despite it being useless on my druid, it's gonna be sweet to have :) Astralis@Ursin

There are 3 reasons why you cant dual wield this.

1. Its two-handed.
2. Its unique. (So you cant have two of them).
3. On WoWwiki they say that you cant dual-wield this. Yes, i know.. on wowwiki stands everything about WoW (and they NEVER lie).

We got our 3rd Eye of Sulfuras now after killing him for the 9th time (one hammer made)!
Thats freaking 33% droprate instead of the 3% "intended" droprate.

Just dropped on Tichondrius for Handsome Persuasion. This is our second Ledgendary item that we have gotten in a week, as we saw The Left Half of Thunderran's Eternal Prison drop last week. Our Sulfuras should be done within a week or so.

Went to Aeonhart, quite a stunning warrior.

there is also a legenrday talisman that drops in MC. cant remember the boss, but i saw it. think it went to ascent to (who have now got the Sulfuras hammer)

Gotta love blizzard's loot tabels. After having rag on farm for OVER a year we jsut got our first eye last night, not that great of a weapon really but it went to our head paladin so grats to him hehe.

Can anyone verify what the actual droprate is? Alla says 4.1%, but thott says around 6-7%. Obviously I'm hoping the higher...

dont have much to go on since its such a huge unknown.

what little we know is that the hammer of sulfuras is 2h, with no stats and a proc.
Sulfuron Hammer that fact a reasonable guess is that it will form a uber 2h melee mace. Noone really knows except blizzard, at least till next test server... but Im betting it ends up being a 2h mace 80+dps +str +stam with a nice fat fire proc.

Had this drop for Tragedy on Icecrown from our first Rags kill. Also had our first Ingot drop from Golemag the same run. 7 more ingots to go.

Well, we just got our first Rag kill Saturday, and wouldn't you know he just so happened to be holding the eye.
Also to note...on our first Garr kill we received one of the bindings. I guess some people are just lucky.

We got two Eye of Sulfuras in a row from Ragnaros ... talk about "luck" ... now we just have to get 17 sulfuron ingots total - cya in a few years :)

I can't help but wonder whether the legendary hammer will be a one hand or two hand hammer, sure - the sulfuron hammer is two hand but that doesn't necessarily mean that sulfuras will be a two hand, I think it would be extremely lame if it was a two hand cause then it would be limited to 3 classes as opposed to it being a one hand which would let 5 classes use it.

I'm curious who ascent gave this to.

Have other servers seen an increase in the drop rate of the Eye? In the last week the Elune (US) Server has seen at least 4 eyes drop.

Is it just me or has the droprate increased of the eye? We'v gotten 4 eyes in 2 weeks on our realm .. 1 to Haven, 1 to Dark matter (my guild;), 1 to Fallen and 1 to PR. Has blizz gone crazy now that theres far more superior weapons out there?

/ Tristan 60 pally who lost out on the eye :p
