I can't help but feel like this 2-piece could hold someone back from chain-casting. If I cast one of the spells listed, and I get a 15 second buff, will it stack when I cast the next spell a few moments later? It will probably simply refresh. And would that mean that if I complete casting a spell at 8 seconds, then I won't get mana back for the 2 seconds that I clipped? Or would it simply mean that I will get 8/15 of the benefit of the full duration?

I am worried about this set bonus and how it might affect my playstyle. I have compared it to other healer 2-piece bonuses, and it seems "in line" but overall I feel like the priest 2-piece is the most confusing so far.

So with the priest's base mana pool being 20590 at lvl 85, this will roughly grant you 411.8 mana every 5 seconds, or 411.8mp5.

The buff lasts 15 seconds, so it will most likely be the case that this will have a 100% uptime, since there's hardly a 15 seconds gap in any priest's rotation not containing one of the spells triggering the effect. Especially PoM, since it is almost always tossed to the tank, as soon as off CD.

Note: abilities and talents such as Enlightenment and Expansive Mind boost only your intellect gained from items, and thus do not affect your base mana pool. This info is 100% correct, checked on myself. So your base mana pool, and therefore the Mp5 gained from this set's 2 pieces bonus always remains the same, no matter your race or spec.

2% of base mana = 411 mp5
Assuming raid buffed 5200 intellect
540 spirit (T11 4pc bonus) is equal to :
- 535 mp5 for Holy
- 334 mp5 for Disc

Increase of spirit on pieces (normal to normal)
Legs - 63
Hands - 43
Robe - 63
Pickcking Robe and Legs, cuts spirit loss by 126.
540 - 126 = 414 spirit = 410 mp5 (for holy)

If you pick Gloves in place of one of those, spirit rise by 106.
540 - 106 = 434 spirit = 430 mp5

Thats assuming intelect from T11 pieces.. increase of intellect, rise profit from spirit...
So picking any 2, VP pieces shouldnt bring any noticable mana loss.

bit of info on the 4-piece, it spawns a pretty pulsing flame in the ground near the healed target, and it heals for ~10k every sec for 5 sec(meaning you get 6 heals done :)), so roughly a 60k heal.
it would appear to have a fairly low proc chance, but the cd on it is less than 45sec(it may be non existing or 30sec, just havnt gotten the proc more often than that) :) i would guess it has a 5-10% proc chance, maybe up to 12%.

Remember to add "Divine Fire" on power auras for easy buff tracking and maximizing your mana regen.

For those interested, the 4 pc bonus is not counted by either recount or WoL as healing you did. The effect can be found and is called "cauterizing flame". However, I was the only priest in the raid last night with the 4 piece and I thought I would give some real world numbers.

Overall, it looks like it added approximately 1% to overall throughput (0.8-1.3% per fight). It seems to be a smart heal but can heal pets. Adding up our boss fights was about 60 minutes overall of fight time with 265 ticks (21 of which were crits).

Seems like a nice, though not overwhelming, throughput increase for a 4 pc.
