This is the same model of the staff wielded by Talon King Ikiss in Sethekk Halls.

Funniest part is that we'll still see mages and priests running around with these, thinking all that stam is really helping :) Great for 'locks but everyone else .. hm.

Grand Marshal blade and off-hand are much better, at the least for the +dmg/heal the combination offers.

I've looked into this, it is a great staff! but i decided to get bringer of death instead and spend my honor points on armor. This is really good staff, but for 30k honor...pffft no thanks. i went with 100g for bringer of death i have 2 of them with me, 1 with +30 intell and one with +40 spell dmg,

Is it me? I think the rare items should be way less expensive in terms of honor points than epics. Give me a reason to get rare!

this staff is great for both priests and mages alike. just becuase is includes a stam bonus doesnt mean its for locks only! its PvP! id take stam over spirit

i spent about 8 hours doing pvp at level 69 and made 8k in honour... that means u can get this staff in under a week if ur dedicated enough... i recommend this for any caster... especially doomkins and priests... ;)

I just got this staff the day the patch was released. It used to be 45k honor points but now it is 36k. I'm kinda glad I don't have to spend so much time doing bg to get items but then again, with the lowered prices, all the noobs are gonna get pvp gear.

100 honor would be too much prolly, blizz would never do that. They should make it so ppl who are in the cave don't get any lol :P how do they not get afk'ed out of the BG anyway? i heard it is some mod thats whispers yourself on a timer but couldn't blizz do anything to block that?

I just got this staff about 4 days ago. Great staff, and I don't see many other casters running around with better stuff than this. As far as the pvp sets being easy to get, you literally have to pvp for days, weeks, and months if you are going to get the whole set of anything. Those of you who are talking about how it is so easy to get honor, well, if you play all day long, then yeah, you could possibly earn around 10-20k honor or so. Some of your honor claims are complete BS. Oftentimes when I'm in the top 5 on my side for HK's and KB's, and we win, I'm barely getting some of the honor claims you guys are making. Let's just face it: you don't always get a good pvp group in the BG's. I have a modest 5100 Honor Kills at the time of this writing, and I just barely got the Grand Marshal's War Staff. I did get a few other pvp items earlier on, but still, it takes a good while to get the lvl 70 pvp items.

As of Arena Season 3, this staff is replaced the Gladiators War Staff (https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=2455/minor-mana-potion). Price is 27k honor and 40 AV honor marks.

Not a bad thing, IMO, because this staff is significantly better than the GMWS - better stats, look and spell damage bonus.

Boomkins with the new non-vengeful staff look pathetic, the looks just don't compare, I wish blizz would've just kept this model :(
