Seems like a superb staff to start PVEing with. For example, with +hit talents, casters can really boost their chance to hit pretty early. If this is anything like ring of blood, a group of 80's can help a lower level get these items, cutting down considerably on downtime.

Easily the best overall caster staff rewarded from questing (i.e. not including dungeons)! This is unless, for some reason, you really needed the crit from the Stave of Youthful Sorrow

If you're a lock and prefer two-handers for leveling instead of main+offhand, this sexy thing will last you until you start running 80 heroics. And then, like me, you may keep it in the bank instead of sharding, just to laugh at the name.
