Does this item drop for anyone who has the quest line or is there a certain percent chance to drop or is it just one per raid?

It says its a quest item. So, I assume anyone with the quest will get it.

This might be changing, but as of the PTR:

Only one person can loot this item, if you want multiple people to roll on this item, this will have to be dealt with on free for all. On masterlooter, the one person who has control over the loot (not the lootmaster, but the person who can loot the gold or any items below the decided loot threshold) can take it. If that person is not on the quest, the item can be looted through the free for all system. First one to take it has it.

Know that this was on the PTR. I will not claim that this will be the same on live servers.

item available to 1 person per drop. its autolooted to someone on the quest, not assignable by ML.

just killed him on 25man and there was no blood on the corpse. Killed Festergut just prior and there was indeed 1 on the corpse and anyone that had the quest could see it but there was only 1

thats what I thought as well but we scrolled all the way up and the log never showed anyone receiving it

Both Quest item (Festergut's Acidic Blood&Rotface's Acidic Blood) can be lootable by one random person in raid who has The Sacred and the Corrupt quest in their quest log. Cannot be ML and Cannot be seen by all person who has quest.
Edit : Fixed Blue Post; Rotface’s acidic blood and Festergut's acidic blood now function appropriately through the use of the group looting and master looting systems.

As of 1-6-10, the acidic blood had to be master looted to me.

Alright so the blood can now be masterlooted, but what if the masterlooter isn't on the quest? Will he still b able to hand out the blood to a player on the quest or will it become a need/greed roll? Could we get any conformation on that part?

The real question is... could this potentially go up on the auction house? o.O It isn't soulbound at all, and doesn't appear to actually require you to have the quest to take it into your inventory. It isn't even unique.

I find it very good cash mulaa to reserve these and then auction it off to people. I make 5k gold just off this. Consider the stuff you need for the quest...

I got this last night, but ive been thinking of faction changing and as we all (well i at least) know the quest log is reseted upon faction changing so will all quest items. But this item doesnt say "quest item" does that mean it's safe to faction change while i have this in my bags?

EDIT: I did the faction change and i can confirm that this item does NOT disappear. :) now i only need Festergut's Blood and both of 'em. Happeh happeh happeh!
