You need to hand it in to buy the T2 version so it is a "must-buy".

anyone happen to know if you can dual wield these? (ie for assassination rogue OH weapon)

or, does anyone know how worthwhile the 1.4 speed OH weapon is with that faster weapon speed?

Currently fourth in the BiS list for PvE Mutilate Rogues (for the main hand). If you have access to this weapon, and haven't had any luck with Organic Lifeform Inverter dropping then this is your next best choice until your luck improves. Better than any of the blue 346 options.

It should be noted that as of patch 4.2, this item no longer cost conquest points, but honor points (same value).
There is no longer a requirement to have a certain amount of rating. However, you have to earn 7250 honor in this arena season to be able to purchase it.
