Dropped by a rare gyreworm of the same name.

Was patrolling a short path by the other gyreworms in the northern part of the zone, and was very easy to spot due to its large size and yellow color.

I found him at 54,23 in deepholme. He's bigger than the other gyreworms that patrol the area, and also yellow, not blue.

Terborus will appear to be approximately 45-50 yards tall with a yellow inner-glow. Terborus had between 70-80k hitpoints. As a Hunter and based on where I landed after I dismounted, Terborus appeared to be running towards my character by running around the raised landing and was incapable of actually dealing any damage to me before I managed to kill him. Therefore, the fight should be relatively easy, especially for a level 85 with or without any dungeon gear.

The rare-spawn appeared roughly 60 yards directly out of the Crumbling Depths. (55,26) for some basic coordinates of where to search.

think it's funny that this is an 83 boe, yet equivalent in quality to 85 heroics.

Just got these from someone in trade for 400G dont think they knew how much they were really worth as they are great bracers.

Just sold for 5k on a medium/high pop server within an hour and a half of posting. Wish I would've posted for 10k.

Probably will stay fairly high until people can get carried through raids.

I can confirm that these are still going for a fairly high price. I sold mine for 2.5k in under an hour on a medium server. Looking at some of the previous comments I wish I'd have put them on for more.

I can confirm some information on this Mob, I have now killed him three times all within 5-50 minutes of me entering the zone. First:

- He always spawns in the same spot, even facing the same direction.
- Spawn point is 55.2 24.9 in Deepholm, directly West of the entrance to the cave(Crumbling depths)
- Can be killed every day, has spawned three days straight for me. Killed twice inside 24hrs.
- The bracers can sell from 1.5k-6k gold pretty easily, I've seen reports of 9k. I have personally sold two pair one at 4500g and the other 5000g. I am currently equipping the first pair he dropped.
- Drops 19-24g along with the bracers.
- Spawn times seem completely random, I would assume he has a % chance to spawn in place of a certain mob mentioned below. He WILL de-spawn if not attacked in a reasonable amount of time!

Terborus seems to take place of a lone Gorged Gyreworm that patrols on the ledge at the coordinates posted, The three times I've killed him I have yet to have that worm alive and patrolling while doing so. Terborus is big and yellow, you cannot miss him if you're close enough. I have submitted a screenshot of him after a kill, the kill spot is the exact spawn spot he has always spawned for me. I have never let him patrol long enough to see where he goes as he drops something quite valuable and I like to ensure he is tagged.

Good things about the area:

- If you're a miner, you can mine the Elementals around the area which can get you Volatile Earth in 1-2 quantity, I've got around 60 in the Bank and sold another 30 on the AH just from camping Terb's spawn point.
- The Jewelcrafting quest, Elemental Goo can be completed on these mobs surrounding the spawn.

Edit: Literally as I was typing this(hovering in front of Terb's spawn point) he spawned right in front of me(fourth time) however another DK happened to be there and I like to share the wealth so the kill went to him. Spawn was at 8:33pm Server time very shortly after the de-spawn of the body of the patrolling Mob I stated above.

Edit number 2: NOTE*** - Does NOT share a spawn with patrolling Gyreworm - More information has been obtained and spawn timer still has not been discovered.

I got these off of Terborus on 01/16/11 during the evening while questing on my 83 Shaman.
Tried to put them up for 8.5k; they sold for 6.5k the next day. (I'm also on a high-pop server)

Currently camping location and trying out learning Spawn timer, I as well have now experienced a kill with the Patrolling Gyreworm still alive. Spawn times are random it seems, 8:15pm 12:21am 3:42pm Etc Etc... Rouge killed in front of me yesterday while Patrolling worm had spawned 20-30s prior.

These have the exact same stats as Alpha Bracers, which are arguably the best in-slot pre-raid bracers (not counting the Epic Rep bracers) for most Plate Tank classes. If, like me, you're having trouble getting your hands on the Alpha Bracers then camping Terborus for a while in order to get your hands on these could be a good idea.

I got these yesterday after a couple hours of camping him at the coords listed in one of the comments for the gyrworm they drop from. Much better than anything i'd been able to get on my 84 pally and probably better than the bracers I have on my 85 DK.

One thing I just noticed on my pair today and don't see mentioned anywhere is that they require only lvl 83 to equip.

This is just one more + to the awesomeness of these bracers

Found this little bugger in AH for a price of 250g B/O. Bought them and relisted for damn near 2K and they sold within an hour. People are so desperate to hit the almighty ilvl329.

The sale price depends on the server. On the lowly populated alliance side of Kalecgos, I got a smidge under 2k (like 1967ish) for mine today on the AH. Took under 18 hours to sell. Not saying you'll get that on all servers and maybe you could get more.

These are very popular because at 83 your choices for gear with gem slots are very limited. You need 3 to activate the meta gem in your helm. 1 in your helm, 1 in your belt buckle and 1 on your wrist. The Alpha Bracers mentioned are 83, but you can't get into the instance until 84, go figure. So these are your only option for the third gem slot unless you want to wait another level. If you're like me, you don't want to wait another level and farm HoO only to have to farm them again at heroic level. These are good enough to last through heroics before being replaced. Not bad for level 83 gear. To make a long story short (too late, I know) It's very easy to sell these for 1000g on the AH because people need the third socket they provide. It's money well spent because they will last you awhile.
