The entirety of the chain occurs at Burning Steppes,and you'll probably end up with Burning Steppes Quests by the time you finish the chain.

Alternate pants, which in my opinion look nice are Slatesteel Leggings Thunderforge Leggings (same model/coloring). They are a darker gray, but I do like the style with this set.

For boots there are a few I've found that could work (updated to include MoP). Nothing I've found really works perfectly, but these might get you by if you're using this set:

Kyzoc's Ground Stompers probably the best match right now, and not hard to get (see this link for a model view). These are very close to the right colors and look especially nice with the alternate pants suggested above. My only criticism is the middle part has a darker shade of gray than the set. The style is a little gritty, but it does seem to work with the style of the set.
Talonguard Greaves the colors are very close, but the gold trim in the front doesn't match.
Ravencrest Sabatons and look alikes; a little too green
Heroic Greaves the style looks nice but they are too gray
Grimscale Sabatons not very flashy, and too much brown for me, but the colors match
Vicious Ornate Pyrium Boots a little too blue/purple, but it could work
colors are very close, but more blue-green than the set; also the pattern isn't quite a match, but these are nice if that's not a problem.
colors are very close, the edging is too blue, but the green and metal parts of the boot match in color; again, the pattern is not really a match

HerrUhyre suggested Bloodthirsty Gladiator's Warboots of Alacrity which in my opinion looks the best with this set. Unfortunately they are no longer attainable, but if you have them already, these work pretty well.
