Actually there is no reason for this rep yet. The Nether Drake flying mount is not a quest but a reward for being the top team in Arena pvp. The Netherdrake has 310% speed instead of 280%.

Though Blizzard has made it very clear that they would like to keep PvP and PvE rewards equal respectfully. So this rep could have a possible use to acquire Nether Drake mount in the future, though it probably won't be as fast.

The PvP netherdrake you get for winning a season of arena. The PvP netherdrake is faster then the normal netherdrake. How to obtain the normal one is still unknown, but I'm quite sure it's by doing a quest for this faction.

At this time there is NO way to LOSE rep with this faction, including killing netherdrakes both in and out of quest series. So you can do the netherstorm quest that involves killing them without fear!

The non-PvP nether drake will apparently not fly as fast as the arena reward one as we were previously told.

The swift (armored) nether drake which is a seasonal arena reward will be a 310% speed flying mount.

The (unarmored) nether drake will be obtained through a quest (which is planned to be implemented in a future patch) and will be a 280% speed flying mount. This nether drake is intended to supply players with a cool new epic mount and won't require any tasks within raid encounters. It's a reward that all players can work towards, but it will still be difficult to obtain.

There is another mount that is 310% speed that is yet undiscovered which is intended to be an equally rare and difficult to obtain equivalent to the arena reward. That's the only information we're able to give at this time."

As of patch 2.1.0 Mordenai gives you a new quest, if you are neutral with the Netherwing Faction, which sends you out to Netherwing Ledge, where there is a new encampment. From here there are various quests that increase your standing with Netherwing.
The various Netherdrake Mounts can be seen in Lower City.

A Slow Death (Daily) 250 rep
Get 12 Fel Glands from the nether rays on Netherwing Ledge, use these along with the quest item you received to poison the orcs working all around the ledge.

Netherdust Pollen (Daily) 250 rep
This is the quest for herbalist, simple enough gather 40 pollen from the netherdust bushes found around the ledge. There is a identical quest for miners and skinners.

Netherwing crystal (Daily) 250 rep
Collect 40 Netherwing crystals. These drop off of the flayers on the ledge and any mobs in the mines south of the encampment. I personally had the best drop rates off of the fallen in the back of the mine, but different people reported better drop rates for different things.

Not so friendly skies (Daily)
Get 10 Netherwing relics from the Dragonmaw transporters flying between Netherwing ledge and the Dragonmaw Fortress. Land on one of the floating islands between the island and the land and use ranged attacks to pull the transporters to you. Fast, quick, quest, though their aimed shot hits for a lot so if you see the bow come out for a long time try to stun them.

Great Netherwing egg hunt (Repeatable) 350 rep first turn in, 250 subsequent turn ins
This is the only completely repeatable quest there is, and it's to turn in a netherwing egg. These eggs can come from anywhere herbs, mining, mob drops, there are even eggs that spawn along the ridge that you can click on to loot. Sadly though, the drop rate on these is incredibly low, I probably only got 15 or so during the entire rep grind. I'm not sure how common the lootable ones will be once the servers are live, I think they take a while to spawn and the server wasn't usually up long enough for them to show up.

Once you are friendly, this quest opens up:::

Overseeing and you: making the right choices 350 rep
Bring 10 knothide leather and 1 tyrannitor hide to the npc to have your weapon crafted. Tryanitor is the level 71 Trex in the far north dome in Netherstorm. Note: the hide is a drop, it is not skinned

When you complete this, these open up:::

The Booterang (Daily) 350 rep
You are given a booterang and have to tame 20 dragonmaw peons with it. Pretty easy, just fly around and look for the peons that are either asleep or are red and mad, the booterang is usable from your mount.

Picking up the pieces (Daily) 350 rep
Collect 15 Nethermine cargo from the mine. Easy, just run around looking for loot-able mine carts.

Dragons are the least of our problems (Daily) 350 rep
Kill 15 Nethermine Flayers are 5 Nethermine Ravagers these aren't hard to find, second path from the left at the second split in the tracks at the mine (first split doesn't matter, both take you to the same place)

Crazed & confused 350 rep
I was kind of surprised that this wasn't daily, but anyway to get to the npc stay left while going through the mines, eventually you'll see a netherdrake, drop down and you'll see the quest npc as you exit that area. The quest is to kill 5 Miners and 1 Foreman, to get to them go to the place with the flayers mentioned in the quest above and head to the right when given the choice.

It is possible to bug the mount when you leave Netherwing Ledge. It has happened to myself and another guildie, but I was unable to reproduce it. Basically, you leave Netherwing Ledge and lose the Fel Orc disguise, but the mount remains unchanged.

I'm 1577/21000 revered at the moment and the only new quest I got was the 3 man group quest. I did get a nice +45 stamina trinket from hitting revered but I hoped there would at least be a few more quests.

ive dont all quests and maxed out dailys since the patch and i think ive found around 8-10eggs.

im like 8k/12k

i wish there was some other way to grind rep once the quests are done besideds netherwing eggs :(

I'm actually at about 12,000/21,000 in revered. Found a lot of eggs and could do more than the usual 10 daily quests somehow. I think it's another glitch. I found out that doing all the quests early in the morning and coming back later would get my limited daily quest to be reseted. I have no idea if it's working as intended or not, I'll keep doing my quests and not complain for now :)

And I could also reproduce the glitch about the mount aswell, was flying in shattrah with the netherdrake a few times and getting a lot of whispers!

There appears to be a bug with the reset timer where it will sometimes reset twice. If you go in and do the quests right after they initially reset, they'll often reset again, allowing you to double up on the daily quests.

The mount is free once you hit exalted. From what I understand, when you hit exalted your reward is an "Audience" with Illidan himself. He, however, sees through your disguise and isnt pleased. The Netherwing Dragon Flight comes to your aid and whisks you away to Shattrath City where you are able to pick out your FREE Netherdrake Mount.

Just as a lower bound to the time it takes to get exalted, I thought I'd point it only took just over 82 hours for me to get my mount. My server was one of the latest up, not coming up until after 8:00 p.m, Central on Tuesday, and I started the grind as soon as I could, and finished it at around 6:30 server time early Friday morning.

The key to getting as much rep as possible is the eggs. In fact, as a rule, you get eggs faster from searching for the eggs that spawn on the ground that you do from killing or mining/herbing.

When you have gotten to exalted with the Netherwing faction, you can still return to the Dragonmaw camp that you got the quests at. Not only can you continue doing the quests for extra gold after exalted, but you can also purchase additional netherwing drakes from the Drake Dealer that stands near the reagent dealer.

It should also be noted that as you go up in reputation rank you get those badges mentioned under the items tab. I am pretty sure getting the one for reaching the rank of 'Captain' gets you another 350 rep along with the trinket. The one for achieving 'Commander' nets you 500 rep, so add those numbers into the above calculations some have done and it does help.

And don't forget some other quests you can do along the way like the one involving building the Soul Cannon and then using on that one demon out in Nagrand (I forget his name). Both parts of those quests add up to be another 1,000 rep, so that's a nice boost. Also, there are the races against all of the flyers once you hit Honored, including Skyshatter, and I think all of them together net you over 3,000 rep plus a kinda silly reward of an item that's basically a 'Riding Crop'.

Also, not sure if it's just my server (Argent Dawn), but it seems some of the racers fade in and out at times and make doing certain racing quests impossible.

Another nice thing to note is that if you are doing the gathering quests for cyrstals, ore, pollen, or skins, you CAN collecct MORE than the daily amount and the extra items WILL NOT go away. That means if you want you can collect more for the next day/s and save yourself time later on. I do this all the time with the skins, since they can take a while to get at times. Not tomention all the other leather I get allows me to increase LW skills and make a lot of gold aside from the gold I get from the quests.

So yeah, thought I'd share some of that and hope it helps out. :)

There are no items from Netherwing or Dragonmaw other than the Nether Drake mounts, and the badges you get when getting to a new rep level (Friendly for the first, Honored for the second and Revered for the third).

When you hit exalted, you get a quest that lets you pick one for free, after meeting with Illidan in a rather dissapointing event.

After you did that, you can return to the Dragonmaw Base to buy the other colored mounts at Drake Dealer Hurlunk at 200g each, just like the other 280% mounts.

Regarding gaining reputation above Neutral:

By both grinding in the mines for Netherwing Eggs, and by scouting their outdoor spawn points, it's possible to significantly shorten this reputation grind. Incredibly, I actually managed to get from Honored to Revered in one 24-hour quest period by gathering a large crop of eggs - and that was without doing some of the more time-consuming daily quests (granted, I played a lot that day).

The next day, I managed to get very close to 50% of the way through Revered. I started this grind from Neutral one week ago from the time I write this, and I am currently 5 bubbles from Exalted, with several daily quests left to do. I have only done the first two racing quests, and none of the Aldor/Scryer quests. I tend to also avoid the poisoning quest, as it also takes up to much time for my tastes. I should mention that I am a miner. I have found so much Nethercite Ore that I have begun just vendoring the stacks for the gold - I have more than I'll ever need for daily quests.

The eggs are definitely the key, and while it is partly a matter of luck, if you know where to look and have a good route worked out, you *will* find many of them, and shave days off this grind.

Does anybody know how it could be possible that I saw a Netherdrake 3 days after Patch 2.1 was released. My buddy said he actually saw 2 on the afternoon of the patch - that's less than 24 hours.

Could you have farmed mats/ prepped, etc for the rep grind ahead of time, so that you were exalted almost immediately, or was there some kind of exploit that gave these guys the rep.

btw, I saw the 2 guys in Shattrath, as did my buddy - he also saw a guy in Netherstorm (so it wasn't the disguise). Unless the disguise bugged on all of them - which I suppose is possible, if not improbable.

Edit: Er.. if you have at least one gathering profession (Skinning/Mining/Herbing). Even more if you have two.

Netherwing Eggs are the most important here i think, i've managed to go from Neutral to Revered in one day, about 6hrs of grinding, and lock's Eye of Kilrogg comes here in handy, just scout entire mine for eggs, if u're miner for veins and if those are easy to get (by killing 3-5 mobs) go for it, loads of motes of fire and earth plus gold from vendoring ores (3g for stack of 20) while doing stuff in mine just do dailies, i think with that u'll be able to grind up to exalted in about 4-5 days.

The mount your talking about is the Pheonix (think I misspelled it) but it's uber rar to get I think roughly a 0.01% chance drop from the black temple...i know of one player that has this but he only got it through "Make a Wish Foundation." poor lad was dying of cancer, but they gave him one....

It took me 9 days to grind go from Neutral to Exalted with the Netherwing. Just finished last night. I am a mage with *no* gathering profession, so I was losing 250 rep per day from that, and had no ability to scout the mines without going in myself.

For me the key was going on video.google.com and looking up "Netherwing Eggs" and seeing the videos that list all their spawn locations. Then I set my hearth to Sanctuum of the Stars and 2-3 times a day, I'd head down there and do a full pass of all the areas looking for eggs. On average I found 4-5 a day, though I got 10 on the first day, and 10 on another day. It helped that I am in Asia at the moment and 6pm for me is 5am EST. Regardless though, very few people check the Dragonmaw Fortress, so that's where you should do your first pass. Also when you are farming for the Fel Glands, preferentially kill the Netherskates (red nether rays) because they drop Motes of Mana, and are spaced around Air Elementals (which drop motes of air), so you can make some money doing those dailies every day and selling your primals after. You can find the Netherskates in the mountains between Dragonmaw Fortress and Netherwing Ledge.

You can speed your time up by doing the non-daily quests that come up, but one, Wing Commander Mulverick, is extremely difficult to do solo unless you're a druid (you won't die from being dismounted since you can remount and simply try again) or a paladin (aura).

For the quest "Disrupting the Twilight Portal' there are 4 camps on Twilight Ridge that have pinkish-purplish tents. There are 4 caster mobs (Acolytes and Spellbinders) and one hunter-type mob patroling around. If you land behind each of the purple tents, kill the hunter mob and his demon, then kill the 4 casters (very low hp), you've done your 20 kills. The elites do not patrol back there so you are essentially safe the whole time. Keep in mind that some pulls, 2 casters will come at once.

The quest "The Deadliest Trap Ever Laid" is exceptionally easy if you are a healer, as said in several posts here on wowhead. As a mage, I'd stand at maximum range and kill the low hp dragons. If I got too much aggro, or got hit by an aimed shot, I'd run back to the Windrider, and bandage /pot there. The mobs would aggro me and multishot the windrider who would take care of business. I died once sometimes, but always completed successfuly.

Good luck on getting your Netherdrake, the mount is definitely worth it. (Veridian FTW!)

Once I found a group to down Zuluhed and reach Neutral I think it took me about 1.5 weeks to hit exalted. I almost decided to skip it, but it'a pretty easy if you are methodical about doing every NW daily, every day...including gathering Fel Glands and Crystals. Ugh.

It does take up a chunk of time to do, but you also make some good coin. And if you are doing dailies anyway just to make some gold, why not get some NW rep while you're at it.

As others have said the key to making it go quicker are the eggs. Research the spawn locations, and fly by them every chance you get while doing the other dailies in the area. I was prepared for a 2 month ordeal, but it went pretty quick.

When patch 2.4 comes out the limit of daily quests will change from 10 to 25. Do you think getting rep with the Netherwing will be much more easier/faster with a 25 limit?

The reason the daily cap is going to 25 is because theres 19 dailies from the new area. This means that youd be able to do at most 6 netherwing quests if you do all of the new areas dailies, and would also mean you'd be rejecting dailies like cooking, instances, etc. if you don't do the new dailies you can do every daily pre-patch 2.4. Wouldn't be faster though, probably slower since you would want to do the other dailies

Honestly, I don't see much point to the netherwing quests after 2.4 OTHER then the eventual free netherdrake. The quests are time consuming (took me 2 hours to farm 35 nethermind flayer skins while also getting the Crystals. you need to knock down 25-30 transporters a day to get the Relics (10 relics, 44% drop rate) and the eggs are few and far between. add in going off to kill 20-30 assorted beasts for the posion glands and doing just the initial 4 will take several hours.

With the other quests introduced in 2.4, including the rewards of badges of justice from the sunfury supply pouches, the increased gold rewards, more green BoE's then you can shake a stick at, and motes of fire, mana, water, and everything else dropping like crazy from the things you are killing, the Netherwings quests are honestly a MAJOR time sink for little to no benefit other then a slow and painfull rep grind toward a free mount, a free riding crop, and a nice stam boosting trinket.

Also, the Netherdrakes arn't all that big a deal on any server that has raiding level guilds, since they're not uncommon and fancy when there's hundreds of them around. as stated, they're no faster, and they take up half your screen.

I personaly will grind rep for a short while to see if the gold is even worth my time.. but will likly drop them like a rock once I get epic flight form.

I found something interesting out. While grinding for rep herbalist, if you pick a Dreaming Glory and fly out of the area to do something else, you will lose your dragonmaw orc diguise, but you will keep the Netherdrake cloaking on your epic flyer! This glitch also works with the Blood Elves Mana Tap.

Hey, I started these quests about 4 days ago and I'm at the halfway point of revered. Yes it's very important you have a gathering profession and find every single egg possible. Farm the **** out of mines, skins or herbs, and look at videos detailing the spawn points. Do every quest no matter how long or tedious, scavenge the mines (lots of eggs there), and pillage the Dragonmaw village every hour on the hour. Do not hesitate, get those eggs. I have about 3 more days of grinding enabling me to reach my goal in about a total of 7-8 days. Goodluck to all of you.

Also want to add the race quests give a lot of rep First three are 350 rep i think then Ichman and Mulv are 500 each and Skyshatter is 1000, just don't get caught up in them and forget your dailies.

Intersting bug: Balance druids under the illusion of an Orc who turn to Moomkins will stay as an orc, but have the Aura, and buff of a Moonkin.

Don't think its been mentioned, but some of the dailies can be shared with a party to achieve common goals, including:
- A Slow Death (especially useful since the Fel Glands take so long to accumulate in SMV)
- Dragons are the least of our problems
- The Booterang
- Disrupting the Twilight Portal

If you can find a party to do these quests, along with The Greatest Trap Ever Laid, it will reduce the amount of time taken to do them.

How come I won't get any Rep. with Netherwing. I did the quest Kindness and the next 2. The I realized I didn't get any rep. at all. Afetr Kindness it's sepposed to get me to Neutral. I do have my epic glight, so I'm not shure what's wrong. If any of you have an idea while that happend, let me know pls. Thank you.

i do not have the 5000 gold for my epic riding skill yet, but i was hoping i could start doing the daily netherwing quests. i am up to the the part of the quest chain where a group is needed to rescue the dragon, and from what i can tell after that dailies are possible.

does anybody know, will i have to have a riding skill of 300 before i can start dailies?

No they can't. To start the chain u must have the riding skill, only then will Mordenai give u the first quest. "Blood Oath to the Netherwing".

You can get to Neutral without the 300 riding skill. HOWEVER, you cannot do any of the quests on Netherwing Ledge until you have the 300 riding skill.

Reason is this - you get 'transformed' into a Fel Orc riding a Netherwing Dragon, which is an EPIC mount, which requires 300 Riding Skill, therefore you CANNOT do the dailies for Netherwing until you have the 300 riding skill.

Note - you do not need an Epic Mount, just the riding skill (although why you would spend 5000G on the skill and not 200G on the mount is beyond me.

Yes, you can become neutral with Netherwing before getting your final 300-level riding skill increase. However, the chain to actually get the Netherwing to talk to you on the southern island does not start until you have the 5000g riding skill, the chain being initiated by Mordenai.

This faction is unlocked after doing a long chain of quests to save a mother Nether drake and her eggs. The quest was broken in beta. You could spawn and kill the final mob and it wouldn't register in the quest log. Once completed it makes the faction Neutral and all Nether drake mobs become non hostile. My bet is that your going to either get the mount through questing for them or factional grinding.

Netherdrake rep cannot be gained currently. In an upcomming patch Blizzard will implement quests and various other ways to grind rep. One exalted with the faction players will be able to purchase a netherdrake mount for around 200g. These mounts are the same as regular epic mounts, 280% in air and 100% on ground. The Swift Netherdrake is a legendary mount with at 310% speed increase in air. The Swift Netherdrake is available as an arena award to the top 2v2, 3v3, and 5v5 arena teams in your battlegroup.

So the answer is do the current quest, wait for the next patch, then grind for your mount

There is a quest from a consortium npc in celestial ridge in netherstorm that gives you a quest to kill mobs affiliated with netherwing. May I suggest doing that first? There is a yellow pad on the ground, when you click on it, an npc appears and gives you one or more quests.

You have to have an epic mount or rather epic mount training to do the quests after you have hit neutral.

Yes the flight skin of the netherdrake can be taken out of the area of the island south of shadowmoon. I found that if you fly into the area and dismount and casted fel armor and flew out of the area again i lost the fel orc disguise buff but kept the netherdrake flight skin and was able to fly around with it until i dismounted.

You must complete the questline AND have 300 riding skill to move on. Everyone seems to be forgetting to mention that part. So all you nubs who think you can get an epic netherdrake flying mount without spending the 5000g you are all sadly mistaken.

Ok here is the run down....

Netherwing eggs are a BoP item that you can turn in as many times a day...personally have found up to 20 in one day...they are dropped by mobs AND found randomly about the netherwing ledge (the floating land fragments on the south east portion of the map. At Revered status these turn ins are worth 275 per turn in.

As a miner you can mine Nethercite Ore. This is a daily quest and you can turn in 2 stacks of 20 per day for 275 rep (rep based at revered status) per day.

There is a simialr quest for herbilists but not sure what it is as i am a miner myself. I believe its Netherdust pollen.

There is a line of "race" quests too. Not fun in my opinion but to each their own. In these quests you are to follow a mounted NPC in the skies around Netherwing Ledge all while attempting to avoid being hit by items/spell they throw at you. If hit by their items/spells you are then DISMOUNTED and fail the quest. You can repeat this as many times as you like until you complete it. I strongly recommend taking all repairable items off before doing these quests as 9 times out of 10 if you are dismounted you will fall to your death. The reward for completing all the races is a good amount of rep and a 10% to mounted speed trinket (similar to the riding crop)

There are faction based quests for either the scryers or aldor also. As I am with the aldor I can only let you know the quest line for them natually. You are to travel to the Alter of Shatar in the north eastern portion of Shadowmoon and after s little runing around in that area you "defend" the town from about a dozen or so drake mounted orcs. you have several NPCs fighting with you so it is not too hard but I recommend having at least a party of 2 maybe 3 depending on your equipment. You then fly back to the Netherwing Ledge to turn this quest in. You must have at least kept the main NPC that you got the quest from alive to complete this quest.

There are at least 2 quests to do within the mine found on the Netherwing Ledge also. One you recieve from one of two of the miners inside and the other from the mistress of the mine standing at the mines entrance.
In the first quest you have to kill 15 flayers and 5 of the mini type flayers. This quest is worth 375 rep at revered level and 18g to boot.
In the second quest from the miner you have to collect 10 or 15 (i forget) cargo loads of crystals. Thes are displayed as mine carts loaded with blue or green crystals.
I am told that there is a third quest in here that starts from a drop off some of the slime creatures but I have yet to recieve it.

Another quest found on the Netherwing Ledge requires you to fly around the area thowing a boot boomerang lovingly deemed the "Booterang" at disobedient orc peons mining around the Ledge. The disobedient orcs are noticable as they are sleeping...bright red and mad....or walking around with the purple daze about their heads.

Then there is the poisoning quest where you have to go kill animals (fel boars, fel lizards, etc.) and obtain Fel Glands. You must aquire 12 Fel Glands and use a hunk of meat given to you by the quest giver to poison 12 groups of orc peons.

There is the one time quest of Subdue the Subduer. In this you must gather several mats to make a fel cannon (ill try and narrow what the mats are later) and then travel to the far west portion of Nagrand. There you will find a very tall red dude named the Subduer. Fleying around him you must shoot him with the Fel Cannon (which looks like something from Ghostbusters) I recommend having at least 1-3 other party members on this same quest as it speeds the process of subduing him dramatically with the more people you have doing it.

I got my Azure Netherwing Drake on the 4th day after starting the quests. The netherwing eggs are the key to finishing quickly. One day I turned in 33 eggs. I am a skinner, and the flayer hides drop rate is so bad that you could spend over 2 hours a day just to earn that 250 rep—or you could spend 2 hours and you should be able to find at least 5 eggs for 1250 rep. I only did ALL the repeatable quests on the 4th day, so If you feel like one is going to be a waste of time, skip it—unless you want to get the drake on the 3rd day.  Definitely do the two quests you get in the mines—you will likely get 3-5 eggs in the process!

I’ll get to the eggs is a second, but I wanted to emphasize the two quests that start from drops:

1st, kill the Black Blood of Draenors in the mine until you get the item from the Sludge Covered Object that starts the quest The Great Murkblood Revolt—it’s really quick. After that, I wouldn’t waste your time with the Black Bloods. I did get one sludge covered object that had 4 flayer hides in it, though.

The second drop quest is from Arvoar the Rapacious, an elite flayer in the highest hill with the Overmine Flayers. To be safe, get at least one other person to help, since you have to kill Arvoar and the Flayer Den Mother--both elites who use fear and will probably pull adds.

Here are the egg locations:

The Mine: By far, the best place to find eggs. They are all throughout the mine. I had a route where I would run around the lower level—looking into all the dead-end tunnels and all the way to the back—where the dragon is. I would aggro several of the bursters in the process, but they seemed to drop the flayer hides more often, so it didn’t bother me.

Then I would take the ramp up and go all the way down and back up the upper level.

Dragonmaw Fortress: Never fly by the fortress without looking for eggs. Look in the top of every tower—often behind a drake. Then look in the stable at 69.61 and the whelp pen at 70.58.

Netherwing Ledge: These were harder to find, as the ledge is so spread out. There is one that spawns near the dock with the two elites—I never got that one, since it aggros the elites.

considering how cool the drake mount looks, this is a fairly easy grind.

Doing all the single shot, and daily quests each day, and turning in one egg, even without the gathering skill quest will get you there in about two weeks of real time.

Of course your millage may vary, I'm currently over half way through honored and I've only been grinding since sunday, it's now wednesday. So 4 days for what the guides I've read claim as 8 and I haven't done any of the raee quests, I tried doesn't seem to be my thing, eh might try more later when I'm bored. They are not daily, and you get 9 quadjillion tries a day for them. You just have to not mind dying. And really compared to the PITA it was to run the kindness chain gathering crystals with the elite 72s patroling all over the island dying with this is not half as bad. No gear damage if you are smart.

I'm a skinner, and boy do I wish I had done mining/herb, only because those both have a chance to drop eggs. But no way am I gonna try and level herb or mining to 355.

Oh which reminds me, 355 does seem to be the magic number for picking up the gathering skill quests. Others claimed 350, nope. At least for skinning, I imagine blizz just set it all at 355 though.

Anyway, if I get the race quests done I'll probably ding revered tomorrow, otherwise it's one more day of grinding through honored.

If you are gonna be lazy and only do a few of the dailys a day do the mine ones, 350 per turn in vs 250.

Oh and please remember, there are other people grinding. It's one thing to race to egg spawns, it's another to kill steal. Your chance of an egg drop is low but killing everything doesn't mean you'll get one. And you'll piss others off.

Really, in the end this is a game, some people seem to have forgotten that and treat everyone else in it like they are NPCs. But thats a rant for a different place.

Ya I'm 1/4 the way into Revered and I started on Saturday, its now Tuesday. Thats 3.5 days farming this rep cause I only started at 4:00 pm on saturday. The eggs are the key. I constantly go back and check the Dragonmaw Fortress for eggs. But I'm mostly in the mine trying to find eggs.

Ive had a few people tell me that the netherdrake quests are too long or take too much time so i decided to create a little guide for people who have reached revered as well as a few spots and tricks to help complete these quests faster. I am a full Resto shaman and managed to complete 8 to 9 Daily quests in no more then two hours a day, needless to say a DPS class would complete this even faster.

First you start off at the Dragonmaw encampments on Netherwing ledge and collect all the quests you can.

Immediately go south and enter the mine and collect the two quests there..

Quest: Dragons are the Least of Our Problems
As you go into the mine theres a ledge on the left side with the mobs you need to kill, there is a trick to getting up there and it will save you alot of time each day rather then going around.

After you complete these two backtrack near the mine and entrance and look around for Mine carts above and below the tracks in the next room. until you complete the quest and turn it in.

After the mine head out and fly around to complete
Quest: The Booterang: A Cure For The Common Worthless Peon
As you fly around gather any mines or herbs you find on the way.
Once you completed the boot quest Fly near the Dragonmaw fortress and position your self on top of one of the hills on the very top of the fortress and catch any of the Dragonmaw that fly by, continue this until you complete Quest: The Not-So-Friendly Skies...
Afterwards fly out side the netherwing fortress and start killing the lizards in the lava until that are right outside the netherwing fields, shown here.

If you run out of mobs to kill or theres someone else in your spot then fly further north outside the prison and kill all the boars you find.. shown here.

Keep killing them until you get 12 Fel glands and fly to your Aldor/Scyer base camp.
Start up the 3 man quest and stand back, the npcs do most of the work for you but just incase theres a trick to making this easier. Get some aggro on one or two of them at a time and run back to the gryphon master and wait until they multishot, they will also aggro the grpyhon master who will proceed

to own any monsters who shoot him. Once your done take the Gryphon and fly to nagrand and fly to the very western border of nagrand and complete the kill quest there, making sure not to aggro the big Eredar in the middle or the elite ogres. The easiest way to do this is to Stand in middle of the portal and pull the monsters channeling there since they will only pull 1 at a time. When you kill all them cycle around the Tented camp around the area, stand behind them and pull from back there. Rinse and repeat till your finished.

Head back to Netherwing ledge, making sure to check the dragonmaw fortress for any herbs/mines you still might need and proceed to finish the 2nd part of Quest: A Slow Death. (Warning: Do not try to poison the peons who are idle and just standing there, they will not go after the mutton and you will waste your Fel Gland, make sure the ones you are poisoning are doing the mine animation) while looking for any mines/herbs you might still require.

To sum everything up, i completed the quests in this order and found it to be the most time efficent and even more so when you know all the tricks to making them faster. As for the Netherwing crystal quest, i only turned that once every 2 or 3 days because it just takes too long as a Healer :P

The daily quests are seriously the WORST quests I have ever done.
Now I may be a holy priest but I still have a damage set and do the Orgi'la quests no problem, but these... these are something else.

So one quest you have to fly off the island for some reason, kill about 20-50 guys to get the glands so you can actually do the quest. So then you fly back and lay the poison and three guys walk over and you think "sweet, I got three for one gland". But no, that would make too much sense. You get one kill despite the fact you are actually killing 2-3. And on top of all that garbage, sometimes, no matter how close you lay it, they just stand there and you have to go back off the island and get more glands.

Then there is the quest where you have to stand on a small island in the middle of the sky and try to pull the flying guys out of the air. Sounds pretty simply, of course there are almost always 10 other players there that either want to kill you or are constantly trying to pull the mobs first. Then, you would think for all this the drop rate would at least be decent. But no, you will be lucky to get one every 3-4 kills.
I can't even image how hard this is for a paladin.

And then there is the quest where you have to collect the unnecessarily large number of 40 crystal from the guys that are at least on the island. So you figure "okay, no big deal, each one probably drops a couple". Wrong again. Another horrible drop rate.

Now if you are fortunate enough to have a profession that lets you gather items for a quest then you are in luck. These seem to be the easiest of them all. Of course they are mind numbingly tedious, like all good quests.

Well I feel a bit better now. I think I'm just going to skip these horrible quests, no mount is worth this trouble and gold isn't that hard to come by at 70.

Grind rep is very easy in this fraction for me its take like 5 days to make all daily and some time find egg while killing mobs for crystals.

after 2,4 patch rep speed up in chillind 5 days u can farm eggs (flying and looking) and make daily

The first thing that you have to do is have your regular flying mount then talk to Mordenai. From there you do quest to get neutral with them.. YOU HAVE TO HAVE 300 RIDING SKILL BEFORE YOU CAN START QUESTING FOR THEM.. When u do get 300 riding skill u can talk to Mordenai again and let the questing begin!

you only need 225 riding skill for hated to nutral quest chain but 300 riding skill to get from nutral to exalted it takes 14 days if you do dailys then you get hail lord illidan quest and you get to pick a neatherdrake you can then get them from drakedealer if you want a replacement

I just completed the quest chain to reach neutral, have epic flying and Mordenai doesn't provide any sort of quest to introduce Dragonmaw or the Netherwing Ledge
The orcs there are hostile and there appear to be no Netherwing Eggs anywhere on the ground or inside of the mineshaft

It seems for now we can only reach Neutral and the rest of the way will have to wait until they add it in a later phase just like Quiver of a Thousand Feathers

Originally completed in the original BC, earning what was then THE MOUNT to have, remains to this day the single most satisfying personal achievement I've earned in this game. Was a remarkable grind, and I was in a small guild that dropped everything to help me finish off Zuluhed in the final battle.

No mount in the game today can compare to the simple sleek Netherwing Drake.

When my journey in WOW is over, and it will be some day, if there is anything to miss, it will be my beloved drake.
