The craft from these plans are pretty useless after the release of TBC, but might still have some value for collectors.

You'll find these in one of two locations inside Blackrock Depths. Both locations are on the way to the Bar inside the instance. The first is just above General Angerforge, on one of the tables near the large Beer Kegs. The other is in the large room with the Constructs, right before the bridge into the Bar.

Note that you'll also need the Shadowforge Key in order to unlock the Shadowforge Lock in order to gain access to both these areas.

This pattern is located in the area immediately after the Shadowforge Lock.

As you come up the ramp and start towards the main armory, to your left will be 4 or 5 mobs (Anvilrage Guardsmen, and Fireguards). Immediately behind them, on the left wall (towards the Shadowforge Lock), on a shelf you will find the patterns.

Having farmed BRD now for several weeks this is the first and only time I've seen it spawn, and having looted the other pattern locations (in the armory on the table, and by the golem maker) this is the first time I've found the shoulders as well.

Good luck to any completionist who is working on collecting it all, this was one of the harder ones to get ahold of.

Where exactly in BRD are these found? I find the plans for the Dark Iron Mail allthe time, but never the shoulders.

same queston where do these drop i know they arnt that good but im getting whole of set and dont care what color they are! if u ahve screenshot or post of where to find em (sez BRD) and what boss thanks

We've checked at the plans by the golem lord (never drops it seems) and looked for some plans at the relic coffers but there don't seem to be any... Can anyone help me out as to where to find them?

Ok im going to make this simple, there are blacksmithing plans and engineering plans found randomly throughout BRD. The shoulders are NOT A DROP! They are found on the ground (big scrolls) just like the repair bot for engineers in found in BRD. just keep farming and resetting the instance.

found them on the ground near the boss with the stone golems and gnomes place..

everytime i click the plans lying on the floor nothing happens.
Only an empty loot-windows appears.

are there any level requirements? i am lvl 60 pala and 281 armor-blacksmith!

LVL requirement = 285 blacksmithing

If you do not meet the above requirement, the scroll on the floor will have nothing for you to loot, and you will have wasted the plans.

Places to find different plans =

1.Beside Golem Lord in a room insode the manufactory.
2.In the manufactory on a bench on the right.
3.In the room before the 7 ghosts, beside the stairs.
4.Near General Angerforge on a shelf.

I found this on a table in one of the rooms...cant telll you which one but it was a room down a corridor that had another 3 other rooms along it.

I was lvl 300 btw but i dont know if this was a pre requisite.

I'm not sure what skill level you need for these, but for the Dark Iron Mail you only need a skill of 270. This I know because I got the plans and can make the DI mail now but my skill when I got them was only 270 which is the required level to make these.

Does anyone have a sketch or pic where to get this? i tried going to BRD 5X without finding this. i always get the MAIL. Ive tried all the locations listed above but cant find the one in East Garrison (near the arena).

If you have a pic or sketch, id be very gratefull Thanks

I guess that you can orient with help of this map...At least you can see where vault is and such, let somebody else tell you which room in picture is right one.

Oki aften tjecking for the plans where all have written i shoudt be then my Party tryed to clearing arround to find the plans.

The Plans are in Western Garrison where General Angerforge is..
