One of the best caster rings in the 40-49 bracket. Other good ones are the Gem Studded Band (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=21753) and the WSG Rewards.
The extra strength makes it also nice for paladins or shamans.

Stats changed with 2.3. Made it even better replacing the strength with spell hit. This is easily the best ring you could possibly see for 10 levels. IMO, the spell hit makes this ring amazing. Too bad it's almost impossible to farm due to this boss being the rarest of the six in the Arena encounter. At least, that's been my experience. He also drops an amazing belt called Ban'thok Sash.

best ring for lvl49 spellcaster twinks and very hard to farm coz you probably need to reset the instance many times to you get it. Because this drops by one of the arena boss which is chosen by randomly(1/6) and chance to drop the ring is %25 so your chance to loot this ring is : 1/6x25/100= %4 that means alot of reset so use https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=10634 untill get it.
Note: for 49 shadow priest and afflication lock twinks: https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=1980 still rocks but the decision is up to you: replace with https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=11824 or not

Wow, they nerfed it big time. If you didn't know it used to be +15 sprt, which was awsome for priests.

I can understand why they did it though seeing as it was a lvl 49 item and was better than most lvl 58-60 rings for priests.
