Nice stamina and plus damage. There are better cloth chests out there--some don't have the stats this robe has, so it's a trade off. Not terrible to look at either.

I never used to like spirit until I decided to try items with it now that I have alot I can notice a diffrence. I think it is atleast 1 of the 2 best stats for a caster

I like the stats personally ...
I play a mage with extemely high spirit and the quick mana regen gets me out of many a tight spot. I prefer a medium sized mana pool which regens quickly to a huge one where I have to spend 20 seconds drinking water to recover. But thats just my opinion. LOVE the look =) =) coolest I have seen in game so far.

I am a lvl 55 mage on Dunemaul, I did Emperor once but no robes, so im decidig what would be better for me this or what I currently have which is the Vesments of the Atal Prophet?

this piece is good for evocation gear switch this gear in before you evocate and watch your mana come back up like crazy its in my hot bar for whenever i am in trouble with mana

I got this long ago in a group with shaman and druid as healers and it was great for water summons until 1.9. Now it is just a curiosity, you can't swap during combat and mages rarely run oom even on very long fights with our mana gems, evocation etc.

For an end game priest it is great, spirit is more valuable than int in longer fights, over 5 minutes and you are usualy better off with spirit than int. BWL battles are more like 10 or 20+ mins so spirit is very valuable there. Not much worse than Transcendance or Prophecy except for the set bonus (which may not be relavent).

Edit:
Just checked out other good SPI robes and none of them are farmable. This is a 20% drop and you can get most of the way to the emperor facing only 8 pulls and no bosses you could probably get one emp kill per hour, why spend DKP on the marginaly better epics?

NONE of you are smart enough to realize, this is awsome warlock gear, if u can get past the spirit that is, The Stamina is nice and the +Dmg is good to.

Though I realize that everyone needs stam, Warlocks are built around having crazy amounts of stam. Remember Stam isn't only our health but an extention of our mana. Any lock who is doing any sort of PvE will have imp Life Tap so 1 sta = 2 int for us, and the damage is much better than +hit or +crit, one because our dots are cheap and rarly are resisted anyway especially when compared to our DD, and can't crit, so the + damage is much more useful for end game. The only robe comprable to this is Robe of Everlasting Night which drops in DM west a few lvls higher and it has less stats and damage, so this is really the way to go for warlocks until ZG/MC/AQ20 drops. Though this item is built for warlocks, Mages still benefit, but there are MUCH better options.

This is a nice all around robe for any cloth wearer. There aren't any better in the level 50-55 area.

How many priests have got 45% mana regen while casting?

ARCANE MAGES DO. So stop saying spirit isnt a primary stat (i like my 175 mana/5 sec while casting).

Great Healing Robe. I have always been more concerned about +Heals than any other stat and it has worked well so far. Now that I am over 50 much of the +Heal gear also has stats, which is even nicer. The +Spirit is very helpful at this level as I am putting points into Spiritual Guidance which gives me +Heals (& +Damage) based on Spirit. I am also trying to be less Squishy so the added Armor and Stamina is great for that (I am currently wearing a thread-bare Dreamweave Vest). I am always telling Pugs that I am a waste of my own mana to heal so keep the mobs off of me lol.

Ehm, mages don't need spirit as much as priests, and you should value giving them spi gear than yourselves. Why? Because they're the ones keeping you alive. We don't have conjure mana agate, and evocation etc, you do. Your mana should last during a boss fight without loads of +spi. If not, l2p, and l2 do dps without too high mana usage.

This is a nice item, I had that on my mage until I began in Outland :(

Try this item with Kentic Amice wich drops from same instance (I also had a purple cloak when I used this), you'll look really powerful! :D

Oh, and btw, this is no priest robe just because it has spirit, its good for every caster class (Mage, Warlock, Priest, Elemental or Restoration Shaman, Balance or Restoration Druid).

I thought this was awesome until I realized it was a CHEST and not a back. Still, if you have a wardrobe mod it would be worth it to switch from devout to this mid-fight for boss fights in molten core.

if you add on a +100 mana enchant it's not as bad as it seems, priest wise at least. The 29 spr in MC boss fights is not to be sneezed at.
