I just got these plans and I'm trying to decide how much to auction them for, was thinking of starting them at 50g, with no buyout to see how high they go. Any suggestions as to whether that is to high/low?

hey these plans usually sell for about 120-170 gold......and my guily just bought them for 130 on a discount....soo yah..peacelate

I got these plans for 3 gold and 17 silver in Laughing Skull AH. There was no buy out and I put a bid on them and went to sleep. Woke up and had them in the mail...Wondering if I should sell it or give it to a smith in exchange for the sword itself...

And has anyone put Crusader on this sword? How would that proc with the already built in healing and bonus?

i wish i'm as lucky as u, but forking out ~500g worth of mat is pretty hard to swallow, with 500g u can start to bid for high end purple already

Arcanite Bars are goin for 30 Gold and thats pretty Cheap ones. So getting That many Bars along witht the other Materials is pretty Tough even though this Sword IS better than a lot of Purple Epic Swords out there! The only way I'd use this is if I could make it myself and use it myself, taking my time getting the Materials as cheap as possible long process.

Hello all, i'm a 57 warrior and would like to buy this in the US Glineas (normal) server. (am gathering mats for it as well already). Also, if possible as an alternative i would trade the Warden Staff (epic) for it (+ the mats i have saved up for it ). I'm always ready to negotiate if my offer is not good enough. Plz mail me if you can make one and i'd greatly appreciate it =)

Spent some time farming UBRS for these plans, along with my shoulders and breastplate...just dropped off of anvilcrack for me, was surprised, not having seen it drop before then. Raid leader called everyone over to roll...I rolled a 4 :/... was like NOOOO!, then realized i was the only one rolling =), 10 points till 300 BS'ing. /w Darnien on Feathermoon server Alliance, if you want one of these made.

To become a Master Swordsmith and be able to make the awesome swords, you have to have blacksmithing of at least 275, go to Winterspring (forget the name of the town), talk to Scourgebane (standing in the bank with a sword) to get the quest. For the quest you have to go to Stratholme Baron side 5-man. Once you get to the Baroness, beside her ziggurat should be blacksmithing plans on the ground, activating them summons a 61 elite Black Swordsmith, kill him, and done.
Sounds like a pain, but being able to make some kick ass swords is a pretty nice reward :)

Arcanite Reaper is good, i agree it can be worn by anyone.

Arcanite Champion? I see it on paladins all the time, the proc CAN stack with crusader, and therefore paladins with seal of command can do some pretty phat damage with it.

Hehe, a member of my guild buyed them in the AH for ->9 gold<-

And he even was thinking of giving them priceless to me, becacause of the fact, that I'm the only swordsmith in our guild...

Gave him 50 gold, and now we're both happy...
I just need to search for the mats *smile*

Does anyone on Lightbringer make this? I chose armorsmith. I can get the mats, tip, trade sword for armor, whatever. I have TS Champion and Arc is the closest I've come to matching it.
