While this bag does only take 1 Mooncloth, I can't say this would be worth going out of your way to purchase. Often times you will find it overpriced marginally when compared to Traveler's Backpacks, just based on the fact that a tailor can only pump one of these out every 4 days due to the cooldown on making Mooncloth. If you're a tailor, using these bags can be quite useful. Make em, replace em with 18 slotters, Pumpkin Bag drops, Traveler's Backpack drops, etc, and just sell em. Good way to make money in some cases.

It's the easiest way for me to make money. Mooncloths are usualy going for 10golds a piece, and mooncloth bag is around 17golds. I can farm my runecloth very easy and getting 40 silvers for the Rune Thread is easy too. I dropped my mooncloth bag pattern from a chest in winterspring.

Once you have 2/2 felcloth and the convert recipe from winterspring "Qia". you can then begin the transmute process. Simple find a moon well....darnassus, auberline, ect and then craft it. Upon making 1 mooncloth a timer is placed on the make mooncloth begining at 3 days 23minutes and 59 seconds or "4 days" in lay man terms. It does in fact take 4 days to make a mooncloth. However expect to see some high prices for these items.

You get felcloth from the satyrs south of jaedenar in the ruins of constellas. On average you can get 1 every 30 minutes, so one hour to get 2 felcloth. Then every 4 days you can use any moonwell (there's one conveinently loacted in the Ruins of Constellas) to make a mooncloth. I have made 10 cloth so far. Everytime I just stop by the Ruins of C gather a few felcloth and boom another.

Unfortunately, I only have ONE mooncloth recipe, and that is for the shoulders. Got it from someone in the AH.

This goes for 15g on my server (Stormrage), yet traveler's backpacks, also 16 slotters, go for 4-6g. Not really worth selling but as a tailor it allows for relatively easy 16 slotters. I haven't made one yet though, had to spend mats on a bottomless bag.

both are 16 slots, yet mooncloth bag is almost double (if not more) price over traveler backpack on my server. (E-U Arathor)

In the next page the mooncloth bag pattern is going to be changed so it only require ONE mooncloth. so now there really isn't any reson not to make these if your a tailor. One mooncloth and some runecloth (which is a dime a dozen) Looks like i'm finally going to be upgrading all my characters runecloth bags finally.

So anyway start converting felcloth to mooncloth now! so u dont have to pay an arm and a leg at the AH

You should be making mooncloth as soon as you are able to as a tailor, it is one of your most important cooldown ailities. If you CBF farming the felcloth, then buy it at least from AH, you'll be surprised how quickly you can make money just by keeping your cooldown timer going...

I think you'll find the 16 slot backpacks go for next to nothing (i.e 4g - 8g) on the realms swarming with far East gold farmers.

On Bloodfeather, EU realm for example there aren't many meaning the bags still sell for around the 12g - 20g mark.

now that you only need 1 mooncloth per bag you can easily make 1 bag per 4 days

Traveler bags are now 18 G at Zenededar(EU)
So I sell my mooncloth bags voor 16G and I buy mooncloth for 9G, that's profit:D

I been playin a while (since game came out) and have about 8 toons on 5 different servers. I'm on 2 different PVE Severs, 2 PVP server, and even 1 on a RP sever.

What I notice is this. On PVP Server economy is wacky and hard to predict. Travelers cost 20 to bid 25 to buy at AH. Mooncloth Bags cost the same. Bottomless (18 slot) cost about 300 to bid 350 to buy out when they are available. The guy who drops the pattern in Azshara gets farmed allot.

On PVE servers Travelers cost about 5 gold and seem to drop much more often then on PVP. Bonechewer for sure, my Magratheadon guy is to low to say. My 60 on Dreanor gets about 1 every 3 -4 hours of play, especially in Plaugelands.

Can't comment about RP servers - only played my guy up to Lv 23.

A guildie was going to craft one of these for me, (I provide mats of course), but once I saw that mooncloth costs as much as the bag itself (20g), I quickly said "nevermind".

These do not bind on equip as opposed to Netherweave (16 slot) bags. Therefore if for any reason you may want to transfer these bags to another toon at any time, or resell it to another player, this is a better choice.

Having no boe is probably the best thing about these, they are the only 16 sloters that can be produced that don't boe (other being dropped travellers backpacks). so basically they'll last as long as u like, keep their price pretty well, and u get all of ur money back once ur ready to move onto 18sloters :)

Ok so I have only been playing for a few months now and I've gotten my tailoring up to 300 and I'm looking for new patterns. So can someone tell me where to buy this one or does it drop somewhere?

I am about to sell the pattern, there is currently another bid for 60/80; when I compare 16-bags together, I don't understand the price difference. Here we usually have 8G for a netherweave one and around 16G for a mooncloth one, but I still think most of people will keep their 16-bags.

Why upgrade when you are charged 50G for an ridiculously two additional slots (18-bags) and... tadam! 500G for 20-bags...........

For aroung 90G I have 11 bags for me and all bank slots, thats reasonable, how much should I pay if I want to have all 20s or even all 18s, thats crasy..

I have a mule who is also full 16, I had to pay for 22bags. The only thing I did is to buy a 24-herbalism one, I think THAT is investment.

I have read most posts of this thread and still, someone explain me, I dont understand why 18s and 20s are so expensive. How much should I charge for the pattern?

hmm ... you can sell ONE mooncloth for 13g (info from allakhazam), you need TWO mooncloth for the bag which can be sold for 25g ...

omg! who would be that crazy? Just sell the mooncloth alone (on mannoroth I never sold for less than 15g!)!

I don't have the recipe myself but was told by someone that the bag has a cooldown period and that you can only make one every 4 days. Is that bullocks or true?

The price of any bag is all about price and demand. Everyone one wants to make as much as possible per item. They are willing to take a chance and pay the deposit, cross their fingers hoping it will sell to make as big as profit as possible. People make tons of gold just by buying cheap items and reselling at a higher cost. All those copper pennies will add up. Even though the Mooncloth bag may cost twice as much, the key factor is that it does not bind to you so you can transfer it to another character or resell it back at the AH and get your money back. I do agree there are some items that are priced way to high. Sad news is there is someone that can not live without that item and will pay the extra amount needed to purchase what you may be selling.

In order to side step the high prices at the AH, this is where your friends and guild members need to come into play. Even though alot of this adventure that we are on can be done by yourself up to a point. Higher levels will require teamwork by friends and by guild members, there is no way around it. Guild members also should focus on professional skills. This will in turn increase the capabilities of your guild teams.
