What a worthless item, any engineer at that level can make a green lens of the whale, owl, or eagle that would be much better. Why do we get such crappy endgame formulae?

Well, it's certainly something for Goblin Engineers to do with those fire goggles they might still be toting around :D

And besides, what's the point of a tailored Tuxedo? Style, of course ;)

These goggles are worn by the Biggest engineer of them all, Mekkatorque, I have yet to figure out what leg and feet armor he wears.

The fact that the "best" Engineer gear is still cloth means that engineering equipment isn't useful for much of anyone aside from casters. If you want to use any special abilities (Say, the mind control hat), you have to switch to the equipment beforehand, which means you would most likely need a bag to hold all the excess equipment you're toting. During the fight itself, you can't switch back to your good equipment once the item's been spent.

At 35, you caan learn Artisan Engineering, then just power-lvl you Skill, and BANG, you can use them!

actually twistbolt is right you get artizan at level 35 but you do get your gnomish or goblin engineering at level 30 and i want them im a warrior and i dont think i will every use a helm i will always use my goggles and most of my freinds have never seen me without some kind of goggles and this is good for looks as they let out beems of light and the are called "MASTER engineer goggles" so any one inspecting you can see some form of status =)

i reckon that the reason they are cloth is because that is the only logical way to make a strap for them... anyway have you ever seen a strap for a pair of goggles made out of leather or chain? i didnt think so.

How hard would it be wearing goggles? "Uh, no, I cant use this it is mail, these goggles are to heavy on my head"? xD

Beside, is not the boss in Gnomeregan lvl 34? How can he wear Master Engineer Goggles if you need to be minimum lvl 35 to get high enough skill to make and use such goggles? Wierd! =)

must people say goggles are only good for casters. but i say they are also good for druids and shamans because they have to heal too so a nice goggle with +healing aint bad for mail wearers as shamans ask my:)

No lvl 19 can wear these, you are thinking of the Green Tinted Goggles, which are twink goggles people who cant get the fishing hat use.

Yes the green tinted DO look like the Master engineer goggles but keep in mind that the Green tinted goggles do not have that glow in them.:)

It used to be a recipe. I suspect they changed it with BC or 2.0 because the cap is much higher now.

ummm i think the master engineer goggles are awesome... im at level 38 with these goggles. that means im wearing an item that is 20 levels higher then me.

no, you need something like 20 or 30 to get expert engineering so youd need in the range of 40-50 to get artisan which is needed to get to a skill of 280.
