i got two of these plans too...i got one after 5 kills and the next day after about 3 kills....i tried again but no luck...i had a guildy make me one...its awesome looking!!!

I spent a total of 8 hrs yesterday farming this with a guildie and it never dropped. Very disappointed, but i won't give up, i'll go ahead tonight.
1 good thing is this place is not farmed on my server and the chest spawns every 5 mins as well as the rich thorium vein, so a good money making place for any high level. In 8hrs i netted approx 250g on all my sells of my loot. 3 times i had to go to AH to sell all my loot, highest sale was all the runecloth's & thorium bars and the jem's from the veins. I have 10 arcane crystals from the mining i did, that alone is my arcanite bar's i'll need for the mats.

Not sure if it is still lootable but 8hrs, damn! wish it would drop

edit: 4'th day of farming it dropped 5 times in 2hrs, very strange drop rate

So how much is the pattern by itself worth?

15-20 Gold is a fair price if you see it for that take it. Some people have more than one of them and are charging 40 gold+. If your server is charging 40+ better to farm for it

Who can report that you obtain this pattern from Mossflayer Shadowhunter?
I spend much time on farming it, but the mobs didn't drop this pattern.

Grinded my way from 57 to 59 on the Mossflayer Shadowhunters on the pyramid (fight down one side, run back up, fight down the other, and by the time I got back up again the first set is in the process of respawning). In that time, the pattern dropped three times. Not selling, though - I'm keeping one, but the other two are up at 19.99g, and noone's bidding (the rifle is nice, but it's EXPENSIVE to make due to all the arcanite, so people aren't bothering it seems)

I got these plans more than 7 times and usually sold for 100g, sometimes less, but never lower than 65g. Bought most of my epic mount from this plan. Moonrunner server.

found it at the piramid, after farming 40 of them,
setted it on AH with buyout of 150 on darkspear..
20seconds later sold on buyout, seems to be nice pattern for engineers...

i killed like 800 of them over the course of 3 days and got no schematic. got 140 runecloth, 5 crappy greens and like 12g but no schematic. so i think the .4% chance is incorrect

Has anyone found a glitch in the drop or has it changed in a patch? I have been farming for this thing for almost a week. I kill almost 300 trolls per session and nothing.

Sick drop rate,,eeen farming like 5 hrs and nothing. Runecloth, greens, ace of portals,etc ut no drop..etter luck tomarrow I hope.Azshira

omg i've been waiting for this to drop for atleast 5 hours, and a bunch of 0.1% grey items drop faster than this thing! wtf
this is so frustrating, maybe i'll have better luck tomorrow.

I farmed the shadowhunters once for about 30 mins...no drop and I had to leave, but when I came back I got it on the 5th or 6th shadowhunter kill. Mine didnt drop from the temple though, it dropped for me from the shadowhunters standing under those tents right next to the temple. All just random luck....

i got this drop from the shadowhunters. I had to clear it like 5 times before i got it. lots of runcloth three powerful mojos and 1 green and some morning glory dew and roasted quails. Also why your here an added bonus is to farm the rich thorium viens becuase they have crazy prices in ah. well atleast on venture company.

After a few Days of Grinding I got this Baby. Bought it in AH earlier for 75g though >.< because Guildmate of mine screwed up cuz he's granny died..

I had killed 239 of the mob and took a break, then after a few days I returned and it droped after 3 kills + I got a bonus (some lvl 58 Silver elite at the Temple)

Same night I also mined an Arcane Crystal :D was my Lucky Night (all happend withing 1 hour)

I went back again tonight to farm and it droped after 59 kills :D

together with Painbringer Mace of the Monkey and some Orb off-hand thing :D (not on same mob though)

i bought this at the AH with my level 18 hunter for 40g :( maybe a bit much but i couldny resist. anyway i plan to buy the ingredients slowly as i go up levels so it will be ready for me by the time im 56 (i think thats wen u can use it?)

Found it once and looking for it again..won't drop for me. Did have 2x Four of Portals drop though
