as far as i found out for now the 3 commanders for the alliance are :
1) for the soldiers medals
in the horde tower half the way from iceblood graveyard to frostwolf graveyard
2) for the leutenant medals
in the outer courtyard of the horde hq in the second tent to the right, right after you enter through the main entrance
3) for the commanders medal
in the inner courtyard of the horde base in one of the 2 towers (i think it was the eastern one)

they all can be spoken to and once anyone on your team does this, this npcs will try to run back from theire position to the alliance hq where they will stop at the 2 gryphons (south end of the allied hq). so be sure to tell your team to wait with speaking to them until the way back is save, if theese npcs die you missed the only chance to turn in the medals.

i was looking up my character and apparently, if you look under my name you can also see the remains of my corpse in AV and i droped one of these medals, how is that so?

last time i was in AV i noticed that turning in armor scraps gave you +50 IF rep, globey things gave you +50 Darnasus rep. thats all i could turn in since it was late in the game and everything else was destroyed. has anyone ever noticed what type of rep turning in other items like the frostwolf medals gives? i'm not sure but it seemed like each turn in gave you +1 rep with all factions, am i correct?

depends on your lvl I guess. At lvl 60 I was only getting 11 rep with IF and 1-2 rep with Stormpike per armor scrap bundle. It might also depend on what level of rep you have with each faction, Because for the storm crystals ("globey things" as referenced in an earlier post) I got 86 rep with darn, then it went down to 11 rep per turn in. But I also justmped to revered in there somewhere.

For the Frostwolf Medals, I got 11rep with IF and 5-6 with Stormpike for Commander Medals; 11 rep with IF and 1-2 Stormpike for Lieutenant Medals; and the same with Soldier's medals.

The faction hit for my revered Hunter was 10 Ironforge and 1 Stormpike per turn in. Considering you can look as many as 6ish from every PC you kill the faction can add up quickly. The turn in mob will have a blue question mark over its head near the south tower in Baldar. Go Alliance.. at least we win AV sometimes. :)

You can get this done when your doing the quest fallen sky lords. When you free Wing Commander Slidore make sure to escort him back to Dun Baldar and he will ask for the Soilders medals. Wing Commander Vipore will ask for lieutenant's medals. And Wing Commander Ichman will ask for Commander medals. Make sure to repeat the process for each Commander.

I still haven't found anything on the soldier, lieutenant, or commander's medals. Having just hit Friendly faction, I'm hoping I'll be able to turn them in once I reach a certain faction level... either that or find the NPC in a fresh new instance after everything resets.

The latest rumor has it, when you push into the enemy base and free the gryphon riders, they spawn back in your base and you can turn the medals in to them.
