Mass killing of the normal yetis in the area seems to increase the spawn rate.

Saw him on 34,69 but some alliance killed him.
Damned level deathskull people famring the place for horde.

Anywho....

He is a level 36 elite yeti. Atleast the one i saw was.

He has a rather long spawn rate when i was there.
But after the alliance killed him he spawned just a few minutes later. 10-15 or so.
Seemt to me that the spawnrate is rather random.

When he spawn he yells "RARRRRRR!"

So when you hear this look like mad for him or someone else will get him :P

Same Here we killed him and he dropped nothin!

Allrighty...I Figured It Out!..........U gotta talk to the snowman in the trees in front of the cave a few yards.....then kill Greench!

he spawns at 30.61

39.62 for me

I am lvl39 undead mage on gurubashi, took him no problem, except for him repeatedly turning me into a snowman!

He Spawned for me at 31, 54 killed him by myself along with 2 other Giant Yetis and Yes he turned me in to a snowman twice.

Killed him twice! No freaking loot, i dont even gets the lott window. I got the quest, tried to repick it, tried to relog but nothing seems to work.

Just hung around (39,62) and it spawned after about five mins. Killed it easy at lvl 45 warrior but did turn me in to snowman once. Dropped loot with no problem.

He did yell "RARRRRRR!" and a lvl 34 mage got to him first. Just had to wait for the mage to get splatted (which took about 10 secs), then he was all mine....

i was out trying to finish the quest and i found him being killed by a hunter... so i jumped on this sight to see how long the re spawn is. when i flipped back to the game he was killing me. maby 30 sec max (i have fast internet hehe)

Be nice! If you see someone next to you who needs the quest, invite them before finishing off Greench, its only polite. Plus, it makes friends =D

Hey, skinning it might speed up respawn. We know if won't respawn while it's corpse is still on the ground, and my grp killed it once, skinned it, and then it respawned mabye 5 min later. Who knows, might help.

Soloed at lvl 45 (mage), and he respawns threw out the ENTIRE snowy area of Arteric Mountains

Lately the drop rate seems low. We've killed him twice and nothing. I remember in years past, he'd drop every time. Anyone else confirm this?
