A guild mate of mine finally got this one to drop last night off the panther boss in ZG to complete the set. It proc'd twice on the way out. The transmation looks very good.

Hes a warrior and it should serve him very well. Nice speed, resonable damage and once you have the strat down for the bosses its fairly easy to farm I reckon.

The stats arent the greatest on this but if you complete the set, it is really good then. I recommend this for rogues and hunters. When the set: chance on hit procs, you turn into the tiger boss and look sweet for 12 seconds lol :)

The proc for the shadow damage has a VERY high proc rate which makes it great for any DPS class.
This is an amazing weapon set for you hunters out there, I have it on my troll hunter. The weapon proc from both is actually quite frequent if you use autofire alot. The proc is very beneficial to hunters as you do get a 300 atk power bonus to your ranged atk power and you can also Feign Death while in the tiger form for a very amusing death scene.

My bro has this on his hunter AND IT IS GOOD! I used it and i loved it. Every single monent he let me use his hunter. He didnt get the other part yet but i wanna see him own AV!!!

These weapons are only really made powerful in their combined state, the individual procs are subpar but once their set proc, procs then you will start seeing some bonus to having them, not to mention the transformed state just makes you look fearsome!

This is a fairly good item that you can get from Zul'Gurub. It is useful for any class that can dual wield and will be doing a lot of constant meelee damage, although it works for hunters too. The reason it is best suited for a dual wielding class is because it has a twin that also drops in Zul'Gurub and when equipped together, has an awesome ability which adds a lot of dps for anyone doing a lot of meelee damage when it procs.

With all due respect you clearly know rogues BUT � here is my soap box crazy long post

A hunter can make it proc just as much as a rogue.

FYI
Rapid Fire 40% speed increase
Quiver 13-16% speed increase
That�s a
53-56% speed increase � And all hunters regardless of Build can do that.

If you have as little as 5 Points in Beast Mastery you have a 5% chance to increase your attack speed by 30% called improved Aspect of the Hawk � and When It Goes Off
A: It�s clear as day that it went off
B: A good hunter can�t click Rapid Fire Fast enough (assuming you have a good Tank)
C: Quiver is always in the picture
D: I�m not going to include the new Hunter enchant for Legs/Head from ZG just cus - you should by now - get my point.
That�s an increase in Attack speed of {drum roll please} 83-86% OMFG!

And you can get this crazy attack speed combo every five minutes (so for places that take setup before a fight MC/parts of ZG/and BWL) it will have cooled for every fight that counts end of story.

It�s a great wep and you will get it with DKP or in an incredibly unlikely PUG if it came to a roll off � I would argue its the only weapons in the game that can proc from Range�But Rogues will argue the DPS, and other fair things� I cant and never would say it is not good for a rogue (It is) � but is it the best ever wep for a rogue, Is it the last wep they will ever equip, is it the end all be all of 2 incredibly important spots on their build? �.. Nope � but IMO A hunter worth his salt and has 2 brain cells to rub together (granted we are few and far between) can say yes to all.

And let me mitigate a few more things:
Q: But a hunter never melees:
A: We have two weapon Slots for a reason (the most important is your build for range) and Blizzard finally gave us some epics.
Q: But a Hunter should only care about crit and get 2 dawns Edge:
A: You�re a FN tard Dawns Edge sucks big fat ugly � well you get the picture.
Q: 2 BS Hatchets give you more Attack power.
A: This is a good point � but over time two BS hatchets will be less Attack power by far when the proc is calculated correctly again over time.
Q: But the weapon does not say class Hunter
A: Blizzard does that a lot on weapons that are clearly better for one class over another to make it take even longer for you to get it � why so they make more money (think about it).
On a side note if you have this set I wonder if a really fast Bow like the Hurricane � may end up doing more DMG than something with a higher DPS rating (food for thought).

There is a 2% chance proc of the wearer of both the main hand and the offhand of turning into a Tiger boss himself:

Okay, I will probably be flamed, but I am a hunter and I have this set. I am not saying that ONLY hunters should use it. I agree with people that said Hunters, Fury warriors and Combat rogues would be happy with this set. I am NOT one of those hunter's that would label this as a definate "HUNTER WEAPON", but I will say that I agree that it is surely nice for a hunter. This set however is less over all DPS than my Doom's Edge from BWL and my Fang of the Faceless from ZG that I use in my offhand.

However, as a hunter, its the ONLY weapon proc in the game that proc's off ranged. I am not gonna get all whiney over this, but the Darkmoon Faire trinkets all Proc off Melee, which I never understood why they didnt allow at least the warlords deck to proc off ranged, granted if you are ranged fighting only, you probably aren't taking any damage that needs small proc heals.

Anyway, I love the proc on this set. In WSG the other night I had it proc 4 times in one match and adding 300 ranged attack power was completely awesome. So as for hunters, we now have TWO items (ZG claw set and FULL set of Dragonstalker) that actually procs off ranged attacks.

Of course you have to consider this... I got ALL the way to Exalted with Zandalar Tribe and all the way maxxed out on Exalted before I got both pieces of the set to drop, and nobody ever rolled against me on them. So the drop rate is quite crappy...

At this point in time my guild has ZG on farm, we easily kill the aspects, hakkar. Bloodlord, and Jindo with out any problem. MC is close to farm status if we could only keep the rag kills to one attempt. Ony is also on farm atm.

With all this accomplished and us now doing Aq20 as well as getting ready for BWL we have only had Arlokks drop.

Seeing as i have to spend my DKP on tanking gear in MC fro BWL i have little DKP to get weapons as DW fury, though as we farm ZG i was the first, and only to get the arlokk's fist wep, and im very happy, currently im using the hakkari axe as an off ahnd with Crusader on teh Fist wep, and 15 str on the off hand. I cant wait till i get the other fist wep so that ill jump higher than the 10th / 11th spot on the DPS charts in MC.

Blizz should make pieces to sets drop at a higher drop rate so ppl can complete there sets imo.

I see how the proc on this would grab a hunters attention, but seriously. The proc is put to much better use on a Fury warrior first because weapon speed matters litte. A rogue could also make use of these but not quite as well. 2 BSH with +15 agility are metter than these for a hunter, got em on my warrior however and I love 'em....fortuneately all the hunters in my guild aren't noobs and know what benefits them and what doesn't.

lol I play a Rogue and I will not dispute that this could be good for a hunter BUT the offhand bonus will do a ranged class no good, not to mention that the AP bonus would be gone by the time the hunter could try to get two shots off. Clearly this is a rogue then fury warrior then hunter set. All you hunters are such loot mongers lol

individually, the weapons are fairly *meh* (mainly this one... off hands with a CoH and no stats are usually considered a no-no) but the sheer awesomeness of the set proc pretty much makes up for it

No. Druids dont ever get the primal blessing. You have to have both claws to make it work and druids an only use the main hand 1h weapons.

im liek so jealous, i got the mainhand, but we have some serious issues with killing arlokk and even if we ever managed to kill it i bet it wouldnt drop the offhand :/

This amazing item drops of High Priestess Arlokk. Arlokk is the sixth boss located in the Zul Gurrub Instance. Her aspect is that of the "panther". The guide for killing him, and claiming your phat lewt can be found here:

Pretty sure that weapons with built-in glows retain their glows even upon enchanting. The Unstoppable Force always has the black aura, while Ice Barbed Spear is always light blue -- etc. So these would likely remain purple even with a +agi enchant.

Dropped for us 1st time we took panther down, which i think we where pretty lucky. a warrior got it cause there was no rogue around (lol)

but without the thekal's grasp it sucks u really need the set bonus, otherwise i don't think this weapon deserves an epic title.

the DPS on the offhand is a huge letdown... by itself this item doesn't seem like it should be epic quality. i dont see why anyone would use this unless they have the mainhand. can anyone let us know how often the shadowbolt procs?

The head gear is a face you can choose at character creation there is no mask that only covers eyes like that.

Just finished the set as a hunter - it proc'd about 5-6 times after i got the 2nd one from Arlokk, and that was just on jindo/hakkar/fishing boss and trash. Proc isnt super-high every-pull kind of good but it seems decent. MC should be fun :)

Take note aimed or multi shots (especially crits) with the proc acctivated can be very bad for both your and your target's health >.<
