This was probably a great staff pre-Burning Crusade, but it will be quickly replaced by the Cenarion Naturalist Staff given as a quest reward in one of the first quests in Hellfire Peninsula.

drops off azure templar in silithus (water one) easily soloable if know how to play character well, or easily 2 man. i would suggest 2 manining each templar so you dont die and waiste the set. the set dissapears after every use.

About as good as rod of the ogre magi only differnce is it takes a bit longer to get but only takes 2 people (and some claim soloable), and you get it while gaining rep with cenarion circle.

dont forget u have more fire spells than just fireball. Blast is good, i am frost specced but still use it cause its instance dmg. Just pop one in as soon as cd up. I see peeps all the time saying im frost mage i dont use fire. Well thats a waste of a lot of dmg if u ask me. Just my 2 cents. ;)

Just one word: Fearable!

I soloed them back then as a shadow priest wit no problem at all.

Now as a warlock its even easyer to solo them cause you can fear them as long as you like. Just watch out for add's cause you don't want to f*** up a complete set of twilight trapping.

If you aren't 100% shure that you can kill him alone, better get some company. Don't try it and waste a set by just dying!

As always, the summoner gets the abyssal crest.

Im on tarren mill (horde) and this server is totally dead so impossible to get a group to DM tribute runs. I managed to get 10 maybe 12 runs at balzaphon for his staff but ended up with the neckless and the belt over and over again.. he's now gone on my server. So i looked to see what other staffs i could with +spell dmg becuz thats what im after when i notcied this staff i hoped I might be able to get it once i read that it could be 2manned i set out to get a decetn staff once and for all. I've not solo'ed 10 of these bosses and had this guy 4 times.

I'm currently wearing all blue +spell dmg gear from strat/scholo/brd and ubrs. Im full frost 0/1/50 having to use my draconic infused emblem, and fire rubby all the time just incase i get this guy and then i have to use ice barrier, ice block and cold snap to drop him and still no staff :'(

this staff is good for druids was ambling along and had the twilight set dropps from the fire templars as well its ok
