These dropped for us during the Silithus encounter and I ended up using these until my tier1 leggings from MC. If you're lucky enough to find the Legguards of Striking, then you have found an extremely nice and definitely worthy pair of pants to give you an excellent dps boost.

Great DPS legs for shaman/hunters, I currently have these and I dont plan on upgrading to WL until my legs are the only piece not WL.

a high level blue like this would get near 30 of one stat.... 30 agility +1 crit is basicly giantstalkers leggings without the other stats =O

I saw that at first too, and was the only one in my group to see it on Abyssal Cloth Pants. It's not on there anymore. You don't get rockbiter for wearing these.

Can someone tell me the details of where these drop? Do you get them from an item that starts a quest? If so, what do they drop off?

I got the Abyssal Mail Legguards of Sorcery with 15 sta, 15 intel, rockbiter 3, and 18 to heal/damage spells. I'm a shaman level 60. Unfortunately rockbiter 3 does not appear to work. With all self enchants off. I put these on and I get NO attack power/damage increase at all. Unless its a proc stat. Anybody else?

Yeah, i bought some ones.

15 stam, 15 intell, 18 heal, 1% crit, robit 3.

And i dont get rock bit !@#$. only bought em cuz i thought 103+ attack power / windfury stacked would be around 1400 attack power if wf procs. oh well.

Still do big wf crits /w AR

sorry guys, im confirming the bad spec. it is a glitch that ocurs in random spec items. It is not a functional spec. blizz is aware of the glitch and plans to fix it.

I got these and I already have a pair on. I am selling them on Tichondrius for 100g 15+sta 33+ healing spells, 6 mana every 5 sec and +1 crit %. Great for resto shammys. Just get with me on the forums and I can send them to you.

it might have the the +18 dmg or the +15 int...but i have a 8+int enchant and i still get a mana regen the sorcery doesnt have a mana regen actually...

If you're looking for items to fill the remaining item slots (shoulder, chest), get the "green" Warstrike items. They fit perfectly (same design).

I have the striking set. but not all yet. I have the gloves, belt, legs, and boots.

Gloves = +11 STR / +11 Agil / +11 Stam
Belt = same thing
Legs = +15 STR / +15 Agil / +15 Stam
Boots = +10 STR / +11 Agil / +10 Stam ( I have seen boots going with 10 str, 10 agil 11 stam and other combinations of that)

I bought all of them on AH.

I can get the Abyssal Mail Legguards of Restoration for 35g, is that a good deal? Only reason to buy it is to resell it. Will I make a profit of it? Or is it a useless item? I can imagine Paladins preferring something plate.

pfft, how do you post thunbnails here?

first they had tier 0 sets, then they had dire maul, then they had silithus and other things, i think stuff like this are gonna make tier 0 sets obsolete, you can have blue armor, that's way easier to get then tier 0 sets, and better too. (dunno about that for other classes, but my hunter barely has any beaststalker left)

I'm half debating going for these for my 60 Hunter, certainly can't be worse than killing the Baron over and over again. Any hunters out there do the same?

Regarding the "of Sorcery" pair of these legguards. When you equip them, the "Rockbiter 3" buff disappears (to you, not others who inspect you).
