This is a reward through a seasonal quest, only accessible during the "Love Is In The Air" Valentine's Day event.

For horde, the quest line to get this begins with a Deathguard Tor (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=16003 ) located right outside the Undercity Zeppelin (Alternately, Orok Deathbane (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=16007 ) in Ogrimmar outside the bank, and Temma of the Wells (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=16008 ) in Thunderbluff.) . He will give you a card to give to Elenia (Quest named: "Dearest Elenia,"). You give this to Elenia located around the UC bank (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=16004 ).

This finishes this part of the quest line, and a quest giver (Fenstad https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=16108 ) right next to her will have a quest (Quest named "Fenstad's Hunch"). He sends you to Apothecary Zinge (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=5204 ) located at the far back of the Apothecary District. She gives you the quest "Zinge's Assessment", where you return to Fenstad. Fenstad rewards you with a "Box of Chocolates" and a "Handful of Rose Petals".

The next quest is "Tracing the Source" (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=8982 ), where he sends you to the Inn Keeper located on the top of the inner ring. Inn Keeper Norman (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=6741 ) then sends you to Mara Rennick (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=16109 ) located at the UC Tailoring Shop (the quest is also named "Tracing the Source" https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=8983 ).

Finally, she gives you "The Source Revealed" (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=16003 ), where you're asked to find Apothecary Staffron Lerent (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=16007 ). Lerent is located near Ravenhold Manor, which is in Hillsbrad. Once you're in the manor, head past the farm, (past the wall) up the hill, and down it, procede northeast until you see him.

Turn in the quest, and MAKE SURE to click the cauldron nearby. The quest giver makes no indication of this, and this is how you get the reward. The cauldron gives a quest "A Bubbling Cauldron" (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=16008 ), and you get your choice of one of six vanity chest pieces, between red, blue, and purple "Lovely Dress" and the same colors for "Dinner Suit".

The final part of this is identical for both factions, so other then the running around (I believe the quest has you running around Stormwind to much the same effect as Horde do in UC) you finish at the same spot. There typically seems to be people ganking due to the likelyhood of others showing up to get their reward, so watch out if you're on a PvP server, particularly since the cauldron isn't terribly obvious.

The "Lovely Black Dress" (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=16004 ) isn't rewarded through this but is instead a rare gift given when turning in Love Tokens.

You get the dress after completing a quest that starts in one of the capital cities. For the alliance, it's a NPC right in front of the bank in Stormwind, the horde I believe is somewhere in the Undercity. I am an alliance, so this is what I remember from doing the quest in Stormwind.

Basically, the quest starts off with them asking you to get a guard card from a guard, which you must get from an amorous guard like the other items. Upon doing so, you're sent to gather up perfume/collagne and talk to NPC's in the town, to figure out the source of it.

In the end, you travel out to Hillsbrad to a secluded area where an undead NPC is at a cauldron, an event happens and then you loot the cauldron. From there, you can get only one of the following:

Lovely Blue Dress
Lovely Red Dress
Lovely Purple Dress
Blue Dinner Suit
Purple Dinner Suit
Red Dinner Suit

All of these items are Bind on Pickup, so you can only have one.

Okay, this took me a long time to find, so I'll try to describe what I discovered as best I can.

On the eastern side of the river in the Northern Hillsbrad Foothills, there is a path leading to Ravenholdt Manor. The coords for it are 75,23.

Follow the path through the tunnel, and then head to the right of the manor. There is a path that starts at 82,22.

Follow this (keep turning left, you will pass a dead tree,) to the undead NPC, who is at the coords 87, 14. I hope this helps a little bit, I know it was more coords than descriptions, but everything there looks the same to me. :x

I think this quest is only available at Valentines, as you can only get the amorous guard cards then.

how do you get coords to show up? is there some command i need to know or something? its getting really annoying seeing coords alone and no directions when i need quest help. is it like something you have to download? something in interface? >_< heeelp

I LOVE this dress on a Female Draenei! Red blends in with my normal Blue skinned Draenei quite well. I even like the pic where the Draenei has a red linen shirt and the colorful kilt to make herself less exposed. Very Nice!

this dress isnt bind on pickup i got for my lvl 11 blood elf Imabhinu on spinebreaker servor off of some lvl 70s bank for 5g cause she thought it was simple black dress lol. anyways if u see me around i look awsome with it. so yeah not bind on pickup to clear that up

no lvl required I'm run a lvl 1 there and get a dress thotbot just recommends 60 idk why but no lvl required to clear that up

Does anyone know if this is still possible to attain, or if there is an item that looks the same when worn?

I dont care if you have to kill like... 4000 lvl 50 elites, just, is it still attainable at all :(
