Just did it now as a level 61, received 9550XP and 1000 AD rep for first turn in on the various parts. Definately worth doing if you want rep and/or cheap and easy XP. (I usually toss all the various pieces to an alt so I have them when I ever level up a character.)

You turn in the insignias with Miranda Breechlock. She can be found at the lights hope chapel. She stand on the right side of the tent on the right side of the chapel. Hope this helps. One of the possible rewards for turning in 20 insignias of the dawn is a 18 slot bag.

Insignia's come from doing odd (repeatable) jobs for The Scarlet Crusade.

NPCs at Light's Hope Chapel.

Korfax, Champion of the Light - gives Insignia of the Dawn for 30 Dark Iron Scraps - drop from "creatures in the Burning Steppes and Searing Gorge" and also in "the dungeons of Blackrock Spire and Blackrock Depths."

Huntsman Leopold - gives Insignia of the Crusade for 30 Crypt Fiend parts - drop from crypt fiends (the spider-like undead) "around Plaguewood and Terrordale, with a good concentration of them in the Terrorweb tunnel", "almost any Scourge encampment in the Eastern Plaguelands" and "a good lot of them in Stratholme, and a few of the necrofiend variety in Scholomance."

Rohan the Assassin - gives Insignia of the Crusade for 30 Bone Fragments - drop from "skeletal creatures all over both the Western and Eastern Plaguelands", and also "Stratholme and Scholomance are definitely the place to be for bone fragments."

Archmage Angela Dosantos - gives Insignia of the Dawn for 30 Core of Elements - drop from "elementals here in the Plaguelands, Azshara, Burning Steppes, Felwood, Silithus, Winterspring, and even Un'goro Crater", also "a great many elemental aberrations" exist in Dire Maul, and also seek out "the elementals employed by the Dark Iron dwarves of Blackrock Depths."

Rayne - gives Insignia of the Dawn or Insignia of the Crusade for 30 Savage Fronds - drop from "Felwood's treants and Un'goro's lashers", and also in "the eastern and western wings of Dire Maul".

Additionally, you can do tradeskill turnins. One Argent Dawn Valor Token gets you a random tradeskill writ, which spells out a turnin for either an Insignia of the Dawn or Insignia of the Crusade.

Can anyone confirm if you get more than one insignia per quest, or does each quest give a certain amount of insignia's? Getting 30 insignias seems like it would take forever if you only get 1 per each quest..

you get 1 insignia per quest 200rep for first complet and 10 rep each additional of the same quest. could take awhile of if you are rich not long at all.. out of curiosity i put 100 core of element on ah for 300g ,yeah thats right they are a non soulbound quest item.. it sold in less then 1hr. being that getting to honored and revered is so easy. just a few strat runs. i would sugest to thouse that plan on trying to get to exalted should do quests after you hit revered. (because at revered you nolonger get rep for just killing undead) talk about makeing exalted more atainable

I was just over at LHC looking for the quests and could only find the one in which you gather Savage Fronds. Are there quests I need to complete before the rest of the Insignia quests become available? Am I just looking in the wrong place?

The thing that makes this even more insane is that you need a certain amount of both types of insignia to get something. Like you'd need 30 dawn and 30 crusade

For going to the trouble of completing any of these writs, you really should be awarded BOTH types of insignia, not one or the other.

I'm getting AD tokens turning in scourgestones in Chillwind Camp, Western Plagueland. And I'm getting Insignias from White Chapel, Eastern Plaguelands. I'm friendly with AD. I have 4-5 tokens in my pack but I don't know how much more rep it will give me with them if I go ahead and turn them in.

Should I skip the WPL tokens and work on the EPL insignia? And if I get rep with the Scarlet Crusade, will they quit attacking me? Right now, if I come near them in the field, they say I have the smell of the scourge on me and come after me. I'm safe in the Chapel but elsewhere...

Well, there does not seem to be much point, for most people. The items are worthless compared to greens that drop in Outland; the supply bag is 18 slots, and can be made easily and cheaply by tailors now; even the shoulder enchants (which require valor tokens, not insignias) are obsolete, thanks to "inscriptions". What does that leave?

It leaves numerous trade skill recipes that cannot be obtained any other way, true, but insignias are not needed for these, just AD rep. The only thing I can see that can only be obtained using insignias is the two +10 resistance enchants that can be applied to headgear (one for frost, one for shadow) offered by Mataus the Wrathcaster at LHC; either requires 30G and 10 Insignia of the Crusade. Therefore, unless I am mistaken, the Insignia of the Dawn is obsolete, and not really worth grinding for. OTOH, if one already HAS a bunch, from doing quests and rep turn-ins, maybe one of the items would be worth getting.

Okay, like the previous poster asks, where do these get turned in? I don't see that answered anywhere below. Is not applicable until I'm revered or exhaulted with Argent Dawn?

I want to know how I can use them to increase my rep with Argent Dawn right now! I am currently honored with them if that helps answer the question.

On our server (Al'Akir horde) you can easily pick these up from AH at 10 silver per item. That is, 25g for full stack of 250 items.
