Please note all of the Kael'Thas weapons are tagged as Party Loot, meaning every member of the raid may loot one of each item, if they so choose.

So please, any discussion of "What class gets what item" is quite moot.

The only classes that would dual-wield those two items are Fury warriors.

Enhancement Shaman can't use swords in the first place, and they'd probably go with the 2h.

Arms warriors would go with the 2h.

Sword rogues would still offhand a sword for swordspec proc

Dagger rogues would still offhand a dagger for dagger spec

Mutilate rogues obviously still offhand a dagger

Only Fury warriors would offhand the dagger and MH the sword.

You do not need to use an ability (like hamstring for minimal dmg.) just auto hit, it will procc.

Any info on how high the % coh is for dispelling the mc ?
And will the dagger proc when weilding in the off hand for special attacks ?

This procs on "melee abilities". This means that if you have an ability that uses the off-hand weapon, such as a rogue's Shiv, you can dispell MC with the dagger in your off hand.
Hamstring is a poor choice of abilities, though it's on the right track. If you Hamstring someone they may not be able to run out of a flame patch. Sunder Armor on anyone who's not a tank would be the better option, since all the raid damage is magic anyway.
The goal is to use a special ability that does as little as possible, and to use it as part of a macro:
/cast Shiv
/stopattack

Autoattacks don't have the chance of dispelling the MC and so adding the stopattack line should mean you won't accidentally kill them. Well, probably. Most of the time. If you hit the right button.

Note that taking the shiv approach poisoning the off-hand weapon is a Bad Idea, As a dagger rogue, you'd probably want to do the same thing with your untalented sinister strike. The damage is tiny and it's not too expensive.

As far as am aware, the dagger has a chance to dispel MC. Hitting somone with it once will not do usually and yes, you can miss.

I am not sure if they become tagged as PvP or PvE, however it's very usual for us that rogues and protection warriors take a little longer to get out, it may be coinsidence.

And lastly, for any warrior who is your guilds dispeller, spam hamstring to cause minimal damage because it will still proc the daggers effect.

Going slightly off topic, make sure you CC the MC'd people too and using netherweave nets on rogues or DPS warriors can give your dispellers just enough time to get to them before they decide to go on a rampage on your poor clothies!

Please note that this dagger can NOT be used outside of Tempest Keep. So, when you go back to your bags thinking ''omg where'd that uberleet dagger go!!?'' you'll know.

Going a bit offtopic, but imagine this for Mutilate-specced rogue.
That would be somewhat hardcore slap as the dagger is slower than most.

Still, hoping to use this and the Warp Slicer (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=30311) when we go slap Kael's elfy behind.

This weapon only exists for the fight with keal thas. He summons them and you have to steal them quick.

Them because a number of other weapons appear.

This one is for rogues.

An axe, a staff, a sword, a bow appear upto my knowledge of the events. maybe others.

The proc suggests that at some point during the encounter Kael becomes almost immune to physical attack and buffs himself somehow.
Just looking at the weapon-procs you can guess half the tactic of this encounter.

There is this dagger, an axe, a staff, a sword, a bow etc, all legendary.

They are ONLY used in the last fight in The Eye (25 man raid instance) against Kael'Thas himself.

They despawn out of your inventory if you wipe/hearth/die.

So... if you're in an Eye capable guild, you get to play with these for a while and see massive crits and ownage.

You'll never see them otherwise. Not in PvP, not in IF at peak time, nowhere except the Prince fight in The Eye (and in movies/screenshots and currently, on Nihilum's website).

But even with this weapon i have to say a 7k crit ambush does still seems a bit high

I figure someone should post something useful. These are primarily used for dispelling the mindcontrols in phase 4 of the kael fight. Make sure that you are using your LEAST DAMAGING abilities when you are hitting your buddies (like wingclip, hamstring, shiv) so you don't kill them by accident.

And if you are still trying to figure out if you can use this in bgs and be ZOMGTHEBESTROGUE EVA, just /delete yourself now and spare us.

Well.. you get the weapons during the final boss encounter...
So I'm not exactly sure how you would use it against other bosses... 'cause they would all be kind of DEAD...

since it's the FINAL BOSS ENCOUNTER...

hey stupid question but a fun one nonetheless. you reckon you could enchant an epic tempest keep weapon? i mean technically its not impossible if you had all the mats and such and an enchanter iwth the right stuff. you could put on aome agil or mongoose if u really felt like wasting some money.

I have an assasination rogue, and I personally used this while raiding TK. Amazingly kickass and fun. I currently use Shard of Azzinoth and it doesnt even come CLOSE to this. I <3 this wep
