This mace I'm pretty sure is the only one hand caster mace. All others are main hand only.

has anyone seen this, the caster version, recently or has it to this day? i knew bliz took out all one hand/off hand caster gear and was just wondering if this was an oops and was corrected.

Am I wrong or can this be dual wielded by a priest? Having +121 healing in an Off-Handable weapon seems super? No? What am I missing that isn't having every priest in the game jumping at this?

it specifically says "One Hand"

for it to be wielded in a priest's off hand, it must specifically say "Off Hand"

The only caster that could use this in their offhand would be a 31-point Enhancement Shaman. This weapon actually appears to be a legacy oversight; all other one-handed +Spelldamage-and-random-enchant weapons were changed to Main Hand in 2.1, when this weapon was introduced. I wouldn't be surprised if it too was switched to Main Hand in a future patch, but as of today it's still One Hand (the Enhance/Resto shaman said mournfully after having noticed that fact only after passing on one...)

The caster weapons which were once one-handed have been changed to main hand. This change was applied in a hotfix today, the 28th of March.

Archmages’s Guile, Battle Mace of the High Priestess, Terrok’s Gavel, and Sedai’s Blade have all been properly changed to Main-Hand Only weapons

well i was just thinking... thats its an off hand and mainly all 1h spell weps are main hand so if you happen to be a enhance shammies duel wielding this and some main hand spell wep...thats alot of spell dmg.

im thinking this wep didnt make it...extra healing in the off hand would be sweet for a resto shammy...but i would rather spend the TPs in other areas

and another +121 spell dmg

i am a duwl wield enh sham.....i use this for my offhand healing its leet

Mine was of the Invoker

+14 Intellect
+16 Spell Damage and Healing
+14 Spell Critical Strike Rating

with the base 121 heal/damage my elemental shammy is happy!

Your talking about RECKONING.

Reckoning -- Rank 5
Gives you a 10% chance after being hit by any damaging attack that the next 0 weapon swings within 8 seconds will generate an additional attack.

So basically if your weapon speed is 2.0 or faster you'll get the full extent of the reckoning proc, four additional attacks. This is the bread-and-butter protection spec talent for increasing dps & threat because it also procs any seals you have judged or cast.

Example. Cast Judgment of Wisdom while running Seal of Wisdom can proc 4 separate mana regens per swing for 4 swings each Reckoning. 16 total.

yeah, cuz that shamans gonna do alot mroe dmg with the maybe 90 spelldmg he gains from the offhand rather than a shield and a full elemental spec. get real.

Like any ele shaman would live without lightning overload for 90 spelldmg. lol

Mmm... i myself have gotten this mace, the physician model thought so a little dissapointed, still looking for one with more offensive random stats.

Let me tell you this, the dualwielding/elemental hybrid has proven to be pretty decent pvp spec for me. Theres great potential for burst with slow mainhand and this mace with frostbrand on and elemental armors. Since its all spelldamage itll ignore all the armor any feral drood, loladin or warrior can throw infront of you, also that little amount of slowing is really great addition in case your frostshock gets resisted, which it does alot.

Btw, the Frostbrand procs ALOT with slow mainhander and semi slow offhander. And by alot i mean its together 50% chance. That ive come to realize after using procwatch for longer duration.

this is a sweet wep for shammies who go enhance just far enough for stormstrike and duel weild,and put the rest in ele, there arnt many one hand weps with spell dmg, think about the spell dmg you could obtain through this wep, and a main hand, both with +40 spell dmg.

For you who haven't noticed. This is a One-hand weapon which means a Shaman would be able to dual wield this.
