The quest, Catch a Dragon by the tail, states that the Wyrmtail are in the Dragonmurk and Wyrmbog Areas, however it also says East of town. They are Mainly East of town and difficult to find in any other areas. Easily gathered if they aren't being farmed by other players in abundance. Not a lot of Mobs to take out around these items as well. Another Quest in the Area would be Indentifying the Brood. Easily Paired and done together. :) I hope this helps.

I found a treasure trove of Wyrmtail at about 46,80 and around there. Only a few whelps were flying around and there must have been about 20 plants. I was almost sorry I only needed 8.

46, 51 is the area u will find these for a small easy quest called Catch a Dragon by the Tail from the new area in Dustwallow marsh

Quest 2: Identifying the Brood - Little dragons drop the items for that quest

More like 45,74 area, FYI. Although the quest says east, it means southish.

45, 74 agreed, south/south east of Mudsprocket. The wrymtails are actually like little plants which you collect, they are not from a drop.

46.80 is best location, there are over 5 mobs near Wyrmtail's, easy location.

i found them around 47,75 in Wyrmbog.
