the +spirit on this staff is the only reason why a priest would select this weapon over emberstone staff (an easy grindable boss drop from VC). But even then, if you are going to grind out a staff for a priest, it would be for twinking purposes and I suggest either Witching Stave (+shadow damage) or Staff of the Blessed Seer (+healing)

If anyone in the group doesn't want it, say the priest already has emberstone staff, it can be sold for about 70g no problems cause of the huge twink market.

if your not worried to much about the Spirit and don't do PvP I suggest Vindicator's Walking Stick, it's a quest reward, and you can get it at about lvl 14 from Bloodmyst Isle
But for PvP, great choose, as you won't have much time to sit and have a drink

Got this on Thunderhorn off one of the murlocs in BFD running through my friend. Sold it on AH for 19g buyout. ;3

This staff has the chance to drop from any mob in the Black Fathom Deeps Instance, which includes the bosses. However the bosses in BFD don't have any greater chance of dropping it than a random trash mob.

I was quite lucky last night, this and Tree Bark Jacket dropped in one run. I was doing a twink run and I said to my sponsor, you can have anything, but could i bag "staff of the friar and tree bark jacket if they should drop" he grumbled when both of them dropped :p

Mine just sold for 25g in the Malygos AH after only 5 hours. I use the crescent staff. I think it is a better staff for warlocks.

i sold this staff for 55g on AH and it sold in about 1 hour. If you get it, it is a ridiculous twink item. SELL HIGH!

I sold this in the AH for 55 Gold. I listed it 3 times before it finally sold. The first two times I listed as 40g starting bid with a 60g buyout. The third time I listed it for 50g starting and 55g buyout. It sold at the 55g buyout.

Some people won't pay 55g for this staff...but you only need one buyer per staff. :)

If you want one of these, I did three runs through BFD, got this, two Axe of the Enforcer, and a Twisted Chanter's Staff, so.... if ya want it send mail to Torruk on Suramar.

Ok, let me correct something... This staff is garbage for the horde because they receive a quest staff that is better. Alliance priests or druids don't have that option though, for that reason I say it is worth about 15-20g on alliance side AH.

I know its not worth it but hey since BC there has been a lack of low level BOP twink items... If you want to make Gold just farm all the low lev instances... WOW 75 gold, who would have thought:)

most ppl dont want it. its a nice twink weapon, but Embetstone Staff outranks it for most classes, unless the char is spiritually challenged.
