I find the goggles to be one of my favorite little things about engineering. They are also a great thing to have, too. The +stats on some of the goggles are nice, and on this one, the +sp is good for priests (+sp and +int are your priorities as a priest).

You need Engineering 100 to create this item, but you also need Engineering 100 to wear it. So no, you can't create this item for your non-engineering buddies.

Actually these are good for hunters, also rogues, shammies, pallies, warrs, etc, even though they can wear better armor classes, you try finding one you can wear at level 10 in those classes :)

That's why these are good, even if they are cloth

I am a Tauren Hunter (female) and I think these things look mighty cool on my char! Plus, they are the only headgear I have come across (and I am lvl 27). The fact that I could make them myself was way cool!

im a level 10 gnome warrior. this character was made as a farmer character so i made me these for me straight away these rock there my only green item so far. i reconmem these highly. but is it worth me making the shadow ones with intellect when im a warrior or stick with these?

these are ok for twink rogues but why not just get the extra 50 levels in engineering and get the better ones "Green Tinted Goggles" - 8 stamina and 7 spirit i use em on my twink there good i used "Flying Tiger Goggles" til i hit 150 in engineering which didnt take long but GL

i like the flying tiger goggles but i wouldnt hold on to them that long, i would basically hold those till i got to lvl 150 engineering and switch and make the green tinted goggles, still great though

ive been looking forever to find the tigerseyes. could some one tell me were to find them becauese ive been looking for 10 days of minning all ive gotten are the green ones but i used those to make the squirl plz send some to flamo in the realm black water raiders. :)

If you put these goggles on and unlearn engineering they still stay on you (and work)
so that means if you want you could quickly lvl up to 100 which is really easy if you already have a miner and then just unlearn engineering and take up something else. Kinda pointless but it worked last time I tried... I guess if you wanted a twink with the goggles but still wanted to be an alchemist you could do that but most twinks have the green tinted goggles.

Ok..dont get me wrong i love engineering(its fun) but no one in my realm sells tigerseye and to do engineering i had to quit skinning!So wen I found out I had to get those mats i was pretty sad. I had to go harvest in deadmines for ore.(cause every one knows tigerseye drops all the time -.-)

These are good goggles, i use them on my lvl 15 warrior. I was disapointed when i found out i needed leather and on my realm and gathered items are at least 1 or 2G. So I wasted 2G on 10 leather :(. But w/e there decent goggles but am still working on my eng.

i spent 6 hours getting my eng. up to 100 to wear these for my half twink

basicallymy twink isnt a twink i try toraise the money to buy stuff haha

it was well worth it =D i am now a twink!

You can wear these at ANY LVL as long as that character has 100 engineering.

I made these to get from 101 eng to 121.

The light leather stacks were 25s ea (price WILL vary server to server).
The tigerseye were about 40s ea (again PRICE WILL VARY).

So my total was:

6 stacks of light leather = 1g 50s
2 stacks of tigerseye = 80s

So 2g 30s to get 20 lvls in engineering ain't that bad in my opinion. My guess it will be anywhere from 2g-10g for about everyone.

The point of these goggles is so that before you're in your mid 20's (or so) you can wear something on your head that gives you some sort of buff. Thus, making it ideal for twinks, since you get a minor armor buff, as well as 5 stamina and 4 spirit. With this, twinks (or anyone who uses it before mid or late 20's) will have extra stat increases, unlike those without engineering.

It does not matter what class you are.

If you're under mid-20's (or even better, going for 19 twinking), these are good for absolutely anyone. If you're above mid 20's, just find a common headpiece. No point in wearing these then, unless you're having trouble finding a decent piece of armor.

Also, if they don't "look cool", unclick "show helm" in your interface options.

3 stacks of copper, 5 stacks of rough stone and some linnen cloth. + the mats for the coggles comes down to a rough 10g to get ur goggles for ur twink. if ur miner go bit south of ogrimmar and get all the copper veigns down at the lightning kodos. 30 min and u got enough.

A word of warning for 19 twinks:
If you use your Flying Tiger Goggles as a reagent to make Green Tinted Goggles, any libram that was enchanted onto the Tiger Goggles will be lost.
So if money is tight, don't apply a libram until you have levelled engineering to 150 and got your Green Tinted ones.
(This is what you would expect, but I had nothing to lose by doing the test.)

i have an alt that knows engineering, just haven't made anything yet (engineering skill is only at 1 rofl) but they will look really cool once i get my engineering up to 100 and make them! (draenei character). especially because at the lower levels you can't find headwear except for the blood elf bandit mask, but that doesnt have any armor... and its white... but these are great, nice for twinks ^^

My night elf eyes glow on the outside of them so it looks a bit odd... wonder if there's a way to tune down the glow?

Can engineers pass these to non-engineers, or are they engineer equippable only?

Sometimes a little confusing. Would be cool to make for others, but I am not clear if it is saying requires engineering 100 to make or engineering 100 to equip.
