Its definitely a twink item and best for twink priest and the like...because my twink rogue has 1.5k hp it doesnt make much difference.

Best for 10-19 healing twinks: Paladins, Priests, Druids. My twink has +165 healing (with a possible +223) and it critically heals for around 630-640 from time to time. Along with the mana restoration it makes out to be one of the best trinkets, especially since they're incredibly cheap to make. I would use it over my Insignia of the Alliance if I had the Arena Grandmaster trinket. Other than that, it's also great for last second instant heals on target's that almost have no health left. =)

And no it cannot be used on yourself while polymorphed. =(

If you have enough engineering for it, you can learn this in Gnomergen by using the yellow punch card at the B punch station.

Do you have to be an engineer to use this, or can anyone use it? I'm seeing the notation "Requires Engineering (140). (sorry, new to the game...) I have a Warrior/LW&Skin, a Warlock/LW&Skin, a Mage/LW&Skin and a Druid/Herb& Alchem. I would love to buy one but not sure if I can use it.

As a Horde, you will need to get the schematic from the Matrix Punchograph Machine B in Gnomeregan. You will need the yellow punch card to access the machine. You will need an engineering skill of at least 140 to access the schematic.

You can teleport directly into Gnomeregan. To do so, see Expert Engineer Nogg in Orgrimmar and get the quest Rig Wars. After that, turn right and speak with engineering supply vendor Sovik. Get the quest Speak with Scooty.

Then travel to Booty Bay and find Scooty (under the windrider deck and off to the side) He's standing next to a teleporter. Talk with him and get the teleporter rod.

You CAN use the recombobulator on yourself for the HEAL. You CAN NOT use it on yourself to dispel the polymorph. If you are polymorphed, just like everything else you can't use anything.

The heal on this one is pretty small, but can still be helpful if you've already blown a potion during a fight. The heal on the higher version of this (the major recombobulator) is bigger and even more useful for self healing. Add this with Whipper Root Tubers and Night Dragons breath and you have even more options for self healing beyond pots and bandages.

it says that it will restore 250hp but what the hell is that for when you get out of sheep? when you are polymorphed you regen all your health basically so why restore health? pointless imo

Friendly target mean you can use it yourself, guardians and vendor and your friens. so you can use it yourself, it restores mana and hp and ALSO cleanse
sheep effect. Thats what im understand from all places i�ve look for

Ok im a Horde Player! It's really easy get all the colored access cards then travel to Gnomergan. or u can pick up the cards at Gnomergan by killing the people there. after u have accuired the right card for the Punchmaster 5000B then right click on the Punchmaster 5000B it will say "learn new scematic" click it and u will learn the plan!

I am a 47 undead fire mage i walked past almost every monster in there! from 29-31 elites! i soloed it in alittle over 30mins trying not to kill mobs that dont need to die! Plus i made it to Thermaplug and beat him i did all of this in less then 30mins!

Step by step instructions:

1. Have engineering at at lease 140

2. Get a group to go through Gnomergan, but before you enter the instance kill a couple of trogs outside it to get the White Punch Card. (This is not too hard of a job seems the drop rate is high)

3. In the train section outside the instance there is a pathway leading away from the train department place and gnomergan go down there and you will find the punch-o-graph "A" machine. Slip your card in there and get your "B" card.

4.Enter the instance, kill a couple of trogs and then goto the edge and if you're confident enough, jump off and land onto the large cog in the south directing pointing to the start of the instance. (You can do it this way or go the long way to the bottem floor...I don't really care what way you do it, this is just the fast and slightly dangerous way).

5.Go through the way, that leads to the little gnome town, but not IN it, on the outside (just a bit away from the mailbox) is a room FULL of the machines... Just put your "B" card in and get the quest "Top secret ________" (Forget name but you will notice it when you see it ^_^)

6. GRATS! You have learned your new schematic.

Hope this guide will help you and also this was made for the Horde players but the alliance can read it if you really want to.. But it's easier just to purchase it. (What's me from stopping ya', lol)

Hmmm I understand how to get the recipe but in order to use it in 10-19 bg's for horde you still have to have the +15 racial from gnomes to use it because the max you can go is 125 yes?

i dont think so cos on my 19 human twink it has engineering 150 and humans dont get racial engineering +.

also some ediots put this up on alliance AH for 10 gold! wtf

one more thing when u right click this item it heals u but if ur polymorphed does it break u out or is it passive and makes u immune to plymorph cos i see some twinks have 2 of em and whats the point if they both share a cool down

Although I have never tried this as an instant cast... it is the BANE of all mages in PVP. I am a hunter and the mage protocol calls for a mage to poly the pet and destroy the hunter. With this little device that once sheepishly tame bear, now is a thorn in the mages side. I have yet to lose a duel with this in my lineup. Also it is good in Raids and when helping out in a large group incase someone is polymorphed and no on has dispell. Just thought I would let you guys know.

This item would be REALLY helpfull in BRD when you are going after Voone or Voshga'jin (sp?). When the trolls frog a person in your party, you could un-frog quickly.

It's intant cast. It has 10 charges, but the trinket is not unique so you can have more than one on you at a time.

Horde can also get the schematic, here's how.

First speak with Expert Engineer Nogg in Orgrimmar. Get the quest Rig Wars (have to be at least level 30 for the quest to become available I believe). After you get the quest, you will now be able to talk with Engineering Supplies Vendor Sovik (in the same room)and get the quest Chief Engineer Scooty.

Travel to Booty Bay and find Scooty (he's under the wind rider deck and off to the side). He's standing next to a transporter. Talk to him and he'll give you a rod that will allow you to use the teleporter. It will transport you into Gnomeregan.

You'll be in an area just outside the instance itself. Fight mobs until you get a white punch card. Then locate Matrix Punchograph Machine A. The white punch card will allow you to access this machine to get a yellow punch card.

Once you have the yellow punch card, enter the instance itself. Find your way to the clean zone and go downstairs. (refer to the map at this link

You'll then see Matrix Punchograph Machine B on the walls. Access them and you'll get an option to learn advance engineering schematics, which will be the Minor Recombobulator. You'll need an engineering skill of at least 140 to get it.

You can't use it on yourself to dispel polymorph, but you can use it on yourself for the heal (but not while polymorphed). It's a nice additional way to self heal in a pinch beyond potions and bandages.

The higher level version of this (major recombobulator) has an even bigger heal. Combine this with whipper root tubers and night dragons breath and you have even more options for self healing.

Mages have a spell which can Polymorph their opponents into Sheeps which can last upto 40 seconds...that opponent cannot do anything until he/she is hit.
