Actually got this in a lockbox and was able to trade it to a blacksmith by not removing it from the box before doing so.

Only problem... Who would EVER use this crap??

If u want a 1 hand sword, why not use Sword of Omen u get from SM quest lvl 33??

Besides, it's not cheap for leveling either... But oh well, maybe alliance needs it, since they can't do that quest... ;)

Just had it drop off a Scarlet Crusader in the Armoury. Very happy cause I happened to be in the right place at the right time when it dropped.

Saw it drop off a 43 turtle right outside of gadgetzan. Nobody in the group was a smith, but all had smith alts.

It was nice, and then damn its a BoP recipe.

I found mine in a lockbox that I picked, but I haven't picked it up yet because I'm not a smith. I'm trying to find someone who 1. wants to buy it and 2. trusts that it's actually in the box.

As a hunter, I've taken up leatherworking after level 40 which makes this completely useless... bit of a shame since some of the people in my guild would have loved to have this plan.

Farming meat in Tanaris and found one on a hyena. BOP wasn't a problem being 300smith. This is a World drop obviously...first time I have seen one in months of playing and farming.
Strange finding a BOP outside an instance.

I found this in a fishing crate.. what luck.. still BoP, but I was able to get it to a Blacksmith in a non-BoP container. Sweet!

Found this plan in a reinforced steel lockbox while playing my rogue. After picking, I sent the box to my blacksmithing hunter, who found it magically re-locked in mid transit. >:/

I mailed it across twice more to be certain. Dumbest bug/intentional limitation ever.

I got this off a chest (Going up the hill to amennar the cold bringer). I read the drop rates and almost ^&*! myself, seeing as how rare it drops. I got very lucky. PRAISE TO WHOEVER GETS LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET THIS.

I was playing my leather working rogue when I found this in a chest in Tanaris. I thought "awesome" then I go to pick it up and the little BoP message popped up. NOOOO! Luckily my girlfriend was playing I had her rush out to hold the chest so no one else could get it. While I logged out and rushed my smith out there from Ironforge. I managed to get it!

Sold it for 5g in a Mithril Bound Trunk. Might have been cheap, but there's no price gauge on this yet.

Very rare to get for a BS. So definitely possible to get more. IF you have a good reputation on your server.

Saw this one in a chest once, I switched to my blacksmith and ran to Strangethorn (I didn't have the griff to Booty Bay..) and the chest dissapeared before I was there. I almost made it... But since they are dropping from those bottles too I might give it a try.

I found mine in a steel lockbox whilst farming for golden pearls (60 mage).

So I immediately posted the whole lockbox to a lvl 40 warrior/blacksmith friend =)

Got it just now in a Mithril Bound Trunk while fishing. Had I been thinking, I would have left it in the trunk since the toon I was fishing on is not a blacksmith. I will say this: I fish a lot. I have probably fished up well over a thousand Mithril Bound Trunks at this point, without exaggeration, and this is not only the first time I have seen this recipe in a trunk, it is the first time I have seen any BoP item on one of these trunks.

Since it is BOP and everyone searching for it is most likely a Blacksmith, I found the most reliable chest farming method (solo) is doing the Uldaman chest run hitting the 2 locked mithril chests using the Truesilver Skeleton Key.

The first chest is at the scorpions near the enchanter and will always spawn.
The second chest is at the small entry hall before the big stone hall. It is the hall with 6 dwarves and 1 patrolling golem. The chest there doesn't always spawn and can sometimes be a Darkwood chest (doesnt require key).

You will be locked out after approx 12 min.

Gotten 2 times in chest in the pirate area in Tanaris, and once in Dustmallow marsch from a mob drop. Think its just world 40~ zone drop, so best bet would be chest farming in level appopriate instances as mentioned above, RFD, Uldaman and/or the chest that spawns in the Pirate area in Tanaris.

Found the plans in a chest at Waterspring Field (where Caliph Scorpidsting patrols) in Tanaris. Unfortunately, by the time my blacksmith character got there (in about 9 minutes), the chest had already despawned.
