This NPC is involved with the attunement to Molten Core, which becomes available at level 55, requiring a run through Blackrock Depths and stopping just short of the Lyceum. Afterwards you can talk to him to zone in directly to Molten Core.

He is at the bottom of the Blackrock Mountain spiral, past the door that leads to the area with dwarves walking around and BRD. He stands next to the window and crystal that lead to Molten Core.

its that bloody night elf just outside BRD instead of turning right to go down into BRD go staright he stands next top a green crystal

i dont understand im at the blood elf (the guy who give the quest: attunement to the core)and i dont see a crystal

when u run down the stone chain and turn right at the 5 steps at 48,66 he is that elf in front of u.now unless u know the tricks or have a grp with 2 sets of armor and 5 hrs to play throw this quest away- u either jump in the lava and island hope to green raid portal or fight for hrs to get there thru rooms. get with a guy who knows the tricks and it`s easy - if u don`t throw this away

gettin the core thing is a giant pain in the ass...
to get it at my lvl (57) u must go all the way to the emperor or close to the emperor. U go over the "Molten Bridge" and right before the raid instance to the Molten Core, there is a stone to the left of it. Search it and u get the core fragment

If you come to Blackrock Mountains from Searing George, turn left as soon as you are inside and see lavae. You will then see a huge chain that goes towards the middle of the room. get on it and run to the platform in the middle. Go into the entrance straight ahead into a Tomb. Go several stairs down, through some rooms, more stairs untill you get out of the tomb again and see the lavae again. Follow a narrow edge untill you see a new chain get on that. When you get off the chain in the other end, he is really close.

Thanks ididi. Couldn't find this guy for the life of me. I had only been in BRD once and had had this quest for ever. Now at 67 I finally am attuned for MC lol. ty

Note: He is a Blood Elf, he has green eyes. TWO: He's at the bottom of the last chain you cross in Blackrock mountain when you are going to BRD/MC.

Just go foward a little, you'll see him
