Obviously (if you've studied Greek Mythology) this is taken from the god Kronos (or Cronos) which is the god of time and is often refered as "the old one" is also why there is "father time" being so old.

Lowest lvl quest dissapeared at 500 rep. I turned in four times at chronos, and then i turned in one set of furry paws, and then both the furry paw quest and the embossed boots quest dissapeared.

So the two sets of quests are linked.

I was interacting with this guy today and opened the quest link for "Crocolisk Boy and the Bearded Murloc". I noticed that the "continue" button was red so I clicked on it because I was curious as to why since I knew that I did not have any of the required Turtle Scale Leggings.

(I thought it might be a bug that could be exploited heh heh.)

After I clicked it, my chat log indicated that I had completed the quest and had received prize tickets!
WTF?
I checked my character page and bags and sure enough, the bastard stole the pants that I was wearing! These are SOULBOUND!

Now I have no pants and only 12 lousy prize tickets to show for it. Blizzard still hasn't resolved my open ticket about this and it has been twelve hours.

wait a minute the leatherworking guide thing says that you get it from a trainer but when u wave your mouse over it, it says you get it from a drop What's up with that?

Just in case anyone cares:

I was looking through a short selection for my Classical Mythology Class, and came across the name Kronos (more commonly referred to as Cronus). Turns out he was a titan, who, with Rhea, fathered 6 of the 12 greecian gods: Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, Demeter, Hera, and Hestia.

Literary reference, perhaps?

Just FYI, I did the calculations for all these quests, how many tickets you would get and for what cost based on the cost of the mats (based on my auctioneer data, which, of course, will be different from server to server) and according to my calculations on Moonrunner server you would be getting:

1 ticket for every 23s for turning in the barbaric harnesses
1 ticket for every 42s for turning in the toughened leather armor
1 ticket for every 70s for turning in the turtle scale leggings
1 ticket for every 91s for turning in the boots
1 ticket for every 1 Gold for turning in the armor kits.

So, best deal if you're gonna do this en masse is the barbaric harnesses.

Do I have to have a certain ammount of reputation to get these quests ?

Some quests are only available to you at a certain level. Like you can't get the dense grinding stone or thorium widget one until 40-something. Others go away once you reach a certain level of reputation.

Ha, I just noticed for the first time today that his title <He Who Never Forgets!> has an exclamation point at the end of it. For all the attention that Blizz made about Chronos' one specific talent, it sure doesn't seem like they ever did anything with it, it isn't even mentioned during quest turn-ins.
