If you are having a problem seeing the wolpertingers when drunk, turn off full screen glow in your video options and the drunken haze goes away.

dont look in town for them look on the road there is alot on the road, if you go to town people will kill them on you before you can net them

Just get drunk and find these guys, they are running close around the camp. The reward is one of the 5 you catched :).

This quest is fun and easy. You have to get REALLY drunk to be able to see them. I had to drink four or five drinks to get drunk enough. But once you are drunk, the little critters are all over the place.

It took a while for me...just keep drinking until you see a bunch of little bunny-like things running around. It's a fairly easy quest, the only hard-ish part about it is the getting drunk. Plus, you get a free...wolpertinger...out of it ^-^
BTW: Can everyone see your Wolpertinger pet, or just people who are drunk? That part confused me a bit...

First do the "Now This is Ram Racing...almost" Quest, so you can get your free beer stein so you don't have to waste money buying drinks. Use the stein on any keg in Major city areas, and drink...a lot (till your screen is blurry). Once your really drunk you should see tiny Lvl.1 Rabbit-like creatures (their names will pop up if you have that interface option). Use your net to catch them, and killing them won't help :P

Don't try to catch the ones marked in blue, they are pets, you want the wild ones which are just outside of the festival area.

The quest is no longer required to get the Wolpertinger's Tankard, in fact, the quest doesn't appear to even be in the game anymore (at least, I can't find it). You just buy Wolpertinger's Tankard from a Brewfest vendor for 50s now. I'm not sure why this change was made, and I don't really know how to feel about it, but it is what it is.

The "dwarf," Glodrak Huntsniper, has asked you to capture 5 Stunned Wolpertingers using the Wolpertinger Net. He mentioned that you must be intoxicated to see them.

Hey there! I'm a crazy dwarf! We dwarves believe when you get enough brew together, invisible creatures show up. In fact they are probably wandering around the Brewfest grounds right now! But you can only see them if you are really drunk.

We dwarves will come up with any excuse to drink.

I bet you want a reason to drink too... So here it is, bring me 5 of those wolpertingers with this net I got from a really drunk dwarf.

If you can't see them, you're probably not drunk enough.
