Tip: Hotkey the torch.

Just like the bombing runs on the Isle, this gets far easier if you aren't clicking the item then positioning it.

Watch the shadow of the torch, wait for others to launch so you don't get the shadows mixed up.

You have to be standing next to the bonfire or in the bonfire to toss them correctly. Do not throw them in the bonfire itself.

this quest sux, i been working on it for about an hour and i fail every time. the arrows blink from one pedestal to another way to fast. when the arrow shows up i click it but by the time the torch gets there the arrow is somewhere else. and yes the torch is Hotkeyed

Unfortunately this quest is not friendly to people with high latency. I was trying this quest on my laptop, which runs through wireless and has a latency of about 300ms. I couldn't get this after 30mins of trying, I only got 2. The arrow jumped around way to much and the cooldown on the torch always seemed to be up. I switched to my desktop and a latency of about 90ms (directly plugged into my router), and I got this on the first real try with plenty of time to spare. Technically the second, but the first try on my desktop I was hotkeying the torch, so that doesn't really count. If you have bad latency or a bad video card this may be impossible for you.

honestly these quests are not that hard if youre an experienced gamer my only problem is i have completed the quests and i received 1750 xp for every one when it says 12000 for this and 10050 for the other one is this a glitch or do u have to be a certain level to get that xp can somebody please tell me that

For some reason a lot of people forget that you have a hotbar to abuse for this quest! Just drag the torches to a number so you can keep your cursor on the braziers.

Okay, I know it says to run near a bonfire. So I do, but nothing happens. And when I try to throw the torches at the braziers, it says that it requires a bonfire. What do I do at the bonfire? I've tried throwing a torch in and again it says that it requires a bonfire. I'm very lost. :(

This quest way WAY too hard for the reward. Took me 17 attempts to get. I moved the toss button to my action bar and turned side on so 3 of the barasiers were next to each other. Then was just a matter of getting lucky enough to have 8 come up with those 3 only.

You have to stand next to the bonfire to throw the torches.

Position yourself before making the attempt as moving during the countdown with cause your to fail the quest.

Personally I wouldn't bother with this quest.

So you want to be a fire juggler? Do you have what it takes? The dexterity? The reflexes? ...the courage? If you think so, then let's give you a little practice!

Take these torches and run near the bonfire. You'll see braziers with markers flashing above them. Toss a torch at a marked brazier. Be quick! Do it before the mark fades if you want credit for the toss!

Hit enough marked braziers before the time limit, then come back here... for your next lession.
