All mobs are located on the academy. Felendren is at the very top of it.

If you don't see him there, just wait a little - his respawn time is very short!

This has to be one the best starting area quests in the game! just about perfect in every aspect!

To avoid having to fight your way out you can safely jump from the platform that Felendren is on down into the water. The trick to the jump is to land in the "deep" water under the Academy.

The best spot is just to the right of where the ramp up to Felendren's platform connects to the platform itself. Just adjust your camera angle to look down to double check your position and then jump away.

Travel to Falthrien Academy, which is located on the southwest edge of Sunstrider Isle.

The Arcane Wraiths are found all over the tower; work your way upwards, killing the Arcane Wraiths as you go. The Tainted Arcane Wraiths wander around the higher levels of the tower. Continue travelling upwards; you will reach a large, circular platform. Felendren is often found kneeling right in the centre of the circle. Be careful when you engage him in combat; sometimes the surrounding Arcane Wraiths and Tainted Arcane Wraiths join in the fight! The best way to prevent a messy situation is to pull and kill the nearby Wraiths before attacking Felendren himself.

Once you have fulfilled the quest objectives, you can either leap off of the tower and (hopefully) land in deep enough water to survive the fall, or you can travel back down killing more Wraiths and collecting more items.

u can find felendren no matter which way u go at the beginning (left or right) and u find 1-2 tainted arcane wraiths by felendren and 3 elsewhere. the other 3 are in both ways in the second or 3rd floor and the floor right before felendren. the way 2 get there is by going 2 the lake thing but stay on the road the go west then at the fork go left. super ezay took 5-10 min (11 or so if some1 just got out with a party). very good reward for a hunter or paladin. if ur not that then u get a good thing from the tender killin quest.

Just something interesting, it was mentioned that a pupil at Magister Duskwither's academy Felendren "succumbed to the affliction" after a failing experiment, this is noted in https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=21783 from the quest https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=8891.

If you are at 30, 27 and all you see is a big green crystal thing in the middle, walk around the platform you are on, there is another path that will take you further up to Felendren.

If you run around the edge of the platform you can take out each mob he has up there without aggroing another. So you can take them out 1 by 1 if you choose.

Descrizione

A betrayer of our people resides atop Falthrien Academy to the southwest.

Felendren is his name, and he was banished from blood elf lands for failing to heed the warnings of our teachers and elders. He is the worst of our society, as he lives only to feed his insatiable magical addictions. He refused to learn control; he is a shell of his former self - one of the Wretched - and he is a threat to the Sunspire.

Destroy him and the wraiths he uses as minions.
