These items are are excellent if you're below, say, 64.
64-67, they're decent.
68+ they're D/E or vendor food.

Blizzard either needs to lower the rep requirement to honored or at the very least, revered, or buff the items significantly.

It's unfair to force players to farm Sporeggar rep pre-70, putting their leveling to a grinding halt, or give them sub-par items at 70.

Soloable as lvl 70 druid. Boss is stun and maimable - immune to cyclone though - havnt tried rooting - but since i let the big dude die to frost nova -.- i'm gonna have to do it over again..... man Fhwoor walks slow.

I recieved 979 rep for completing this quest, as I already had 20/1000 rep in Exalted. Looks like this quest just finishes out your exalted bar, similar to the quest for Netherwing.

As a lvl 70 enhancement shaman, I WAS able to solo this quest, although I was very slim on mana the entire time and had to mana pot twice. Fhwoor doesn't slow down while he is in the camp so you have to move ahead of him and clear the way before he pulls too many.

When Ssslith comes out, I simply put down my Earth Elemental totem to tank the adds and popped heroism, didn't have a problem with them at all. I would still suggest any other level 70 to bring a friend, but if you're a shaman, you're in luck for this one. :)

Soloable as 70 feral druid. The elite did hit hard but not large amounts.
Take out adds first, then burn him down. Bashed, barkskin, heal to full health. Piece of cake.
Got 679 rep for it bringing me to 999/1000.

The rewards really need to be better. Vendorfodder ftl.

Soloable as a 70 hunter with mostly Kara/Gruul loot. I was SV at the time, but BM would have been easier.

First 3/4 of the quest is easily soloable. It's the elite with the 2 non-elite mobs at the end that can be a problem.
Ssslith did not apear to be CC'able. Trapped one of the non-elites instead and killed the other...then killed the trapped one. Then burned Ssslith down. Had to do a lil bit of kiting so my pet could regain health because Ssslith did hit hard.

The rep was enough to finish off my exalted to 999/1000. And as stated above, at 70, the rewards were "vendorfodder". All in all, not easy by any means....put not impossible.

Easy enough. 70 fire mage, just kited ssslith after killing the caster add and sheeping the other (running, jumping and casting fireblast/icelance, etc.)

Might need to mana gem/mana pot, but he isn't _too_ hard. I assume fhwoor can't die if you want to complete the quest.

Maybe it's an option to let the NPC take out the last couple of mobs (especially the elite). You can cast buffs on him, so I take you can also heal him.

I tried this quest as a Balance Druid but got completely owned by his annoying ice spells. :}

It's really annoying what Blizzard does. Some escort quests that suggest 2 or 3 people are easy to solo with like any class. While others are like the extreme opposite. :/

I was able to solo this quest as a lvl 70 Holy Priest wearing BT/Hyjal heal equip (2331 +heal bonus, 919 +spelldmg bonus).

You can indeed heal Fhwoor, and he can take a few hits easily. Just let him run ahead and aggro the mobs in his way, let him take a few hits, and kill the mobs.

You'll probably have to fight against 3-4 enchantresses just before Fhwoor picks up the ark; be careful of their circles of frost, they hit for 2200 frost damage, which can be quite dangerous if all of them decide to cast them at the same time ;)

The last fight is kinda tough, the lvl 65 elite naga (Ssslith) hits quite hard on cloth (3182 armor = ~23% damage reduction w/ Inner Fire): hits for ~1200, crits for 2000+, sometimes uses Frost Nova for about 700 dmg . I spent most of the time to heal myself and used Power Word: Shield, Renew and Prayer of Mending whenever possible. Fhwoor and my Shadow Word: Pain did most of the damage, with the occasional Mind Blast and Smite.

Make sure to kill his two non-elite adds first. While the adds can be feared, Ssslith himself is immune to fear!

I had to use my Shadowfiend and was completely oom afterwards. Unlike other escort quests which are "group quests", this one is somewhere between somewhat challenging and nearly impossible, depending from your class and equipment.

Just solo'd this as a lvl 70 fury warrior with Karazhan tanking gear. Was kinda close cause I had about 400hp left. First killed the 2 adds ofcourse and then tried to keep up spell reflect and shield block to minimize dmg income. Fhwoor did most of the dps i guess :)

This quest is very easily completed solo as a Discipline/Holy priest at level 70.

Fhwoor slowly stomps around the naga camps; he makes a mostly semicircular path through the camp, grabbing the ark on the way. Of course, he has a tendency, like most escorted NPCs, to pull basically everything in the area, so I strongly suggest pulling things ahead of time. The naga are easy to kill and whole groups of them should not be a problem at all, though. Be sure to keep Fwhoor relatively unharmed (if you play a class which can heal, you can cast healing spells on him), because if he dies, the quest is, unsurprisingly, over.

Once Fhwoor clears the naga camps, there is a brief delay before an elite naga along with two guards (a melee fighter and a caster) shows up. They all charge Fwhoor, so try to pull the elite and another off of him. I recommend killing the enchantress (the caster) first, as she dies very quickly, and then finishing off the melee naga (or just keeping him crowd-controlled throughout the fight---Fwhoor can take him out on his own, too). Then, simply focus on the elite naga, who will die very swiftly when under attack by a 70th-level character.

If you are lower level than 70, you may need to bring friends for this quest. However, if you are 70th-level and decently-geared, you should not have a big problem with protecting Fwhoor and killing the elite naga at the end.

Fhwoor starts off at a fast pace and heads over to the area where the steam pump is. He fights anything on the way. Once at the pump he picks up the ark and we head back to Sporeggar through the naga camp.

Right as you exit the naga camp, Sssilth spawns with two lackies. I got an enchantress and a slavedriver. I didn't live terrbily long as Ssslith is a lvl 65 elite and it was just li'l ol' me. He's a naga and he hit hard enough, but the fight is further complicated by the additional mobs.

Sssilth hit me for 1257, 947, 964 and the frost nova from the enchantress hit me for 465. He hurts and his friends don't make it any easier. Could be duo'd easily enough but trio would be much easier. I did this at lvl 65 on a T2+ rogue.

This quest is doable at lvl 64.

Only requirements is Exalted with Sporeggar. Not sure about lower levels.

where exactly does the NPC spawn? and what level can you obtain the quest at? Allakhazam says nothing about those details which bothers me.

amount of reputation given is incorrect -- i was just freshly in exalted, yet it gave me enough rep to hit the 999/1000 cap (709 rep to be precise, since i was at 290/1000).
