At least the set bonus is decent. Most of the other warrior sets have pretty lame bonuses.

Fury spec reduces cooldown of intercept to 15 seconds, and this reduces it to 10 seconds. And if you're a gnome warrior, escape artist + PvP trinket means e-z mode mage killing. :D

It's true that, as it stands, the set is only a little better than the best quest rewards. The biggest weaknesses of this set are the relatively low armor value and strength.

However, it has a good total crit rating and resilience rating, and especially stamina, all of which are important for PvP. Once infused with gems, preferably a combination of strength and crit rating (or hit rating, if you desire), it will stand above most random blue drops, which typically have zero resilience and less stamina, but more strength. Provided you invest in the other honor rewards including the cloak, ring, epic armor pieces and possibly the necklace, you will have quite a lot of resilience and crit rating, resulting in a good combination of survivability and damage.

Also, note that it's a five-piece set, so the rest of your gear can be filled out with whatever. There's no bonus for all five pieces either, so one piece can be replaced with something else. My recommendation would be to get the epic bracers, belt, and boots if you don't mind looking a little uglier, and replacing this helm with the gladiator version since it can be hidden.

The set is mostly for people who don't want to deal with raids (or the guild politics involved) for the drops needed for those sets. Depending on the server, it may take much less total play time to acquire than the raid equivalents. While it's good, I do think they should increase the strength a bit and reduce the ridiculous prices. Other than that it meets my expectations for blue PvP rewards.

Unfortunately there is no hit rating at all for the fury warriors, but boosting it beyond +6% only helps your white damage anwyays.

ummm. im a noob and im jsut wodnering....are the higher lvl battlegroundss bigger than the low lvl battlegrounds?

How long time will approximately take to get this set and how much honor u need?

WEllmost AV's take 40-60 min and AB's take somewhere betwen 25-40 min 50 if its those rare 4;1 to 1;4 swings. A WSG match are really unmeauseable and are rarely quick.

AVs where i come from take 30 minutes. ABs take 20 and WSGs take 10-15

This set has been good to me. I have pwnd a few full Merciless geared warriors with it. In general the Merciless gear is so much better, but socket these, enchant and you'll do fine pvp. Notice the intercept bonus is the same for both sets.......key.

Best looking alliance warrior set imo. I'm gonna miss it when it time to season 3 gear out.
