Note that the socket bonuses on helm/shoulders/chest this season are all (+4/3/4) Critical Strike rating.

The armor-piercing has come out of the extra Hit budget, so instead of having slightly more Hit on those three pieces they have slightly less. You may need to make up the loss with a gem or two!

Hmm, guys , have you ever noticed that gloves from this set give a shit bonus , copared with other pvp set gloves , lookie here ....
Hamstring -3 rage cost is nothing copared with +5% damage of Crusader strike on paladins dpspvp set gloves, or with +2% crit on flash of light on healing ones. I'm not talking about interrupt effect and 3 sec cooldown of all spells from interrupted school of deadly throw on rogues, it's imba, imo, and have to be nerfed.
So what do you think ? Mby blizz should rebuild thise gloves and make some real bonus on them?

Yes, i know it is good, but it is same as pally sets have hammer of justice , or rogue +10 energy , which is also very useful, but besides 4 peace set bonus they have extremely useful bonus on gloves, and not only they.

Just think what is -3 hamstring rage cost ... at first if u charge u will have rage on hammstring without this gloves anyway , if u are not able to charge , assuming u are in combat , u can use bloodrage, or just w8 for a hit and there u have it.. In addition to all of this , hamstring is used once in 15 secs or even rerely, unless u are trying to spamm it on each opponent(croud control), saving 3 rage on each hamstring, but i suppose piercing howl is made for it, so i still think those gloves need to be fixed and given some real bonus.

I agree, hamstring is used quite often in pvp, but still 3 rage is too little i think, because all of warrior skills use 5 10 15 20 25 30 rage. I have a warrior myself and have no problems with hamstring without those gloves and assuming i have them i don't think that it would help me. So yet the bonus remains a "shitty" one in my opinion. Though if it would have been -5 rage, that would be more effective and maybe even could be a match for all other gloves bonuses, but i agree with Kendak and a small silence effect on pummel would be way more useful than the existing bonus.

I know most of you might even like this, however I really dislike the light blue color of this armor that I saw on the PTR. The darker versions of the armor from previous sets were always the gladiator but on this one it looks to me like its the other way around.

S4 5-piece set will offer upgrade of 37 STA, 28 STR, 28 crit rating, 18 (!) hit rating upgrade compared to the S3 5-piece set. Resilience, armor and armor penetration seems to be unchanged.

Think about this: what are they going to make S4 look like? Probably T7, when it comes out. When is T7 coming out? After WoTLK. I could be wrong, but it seems to make sense.

Let me say this about the Vengeful set: the damn hitrating is ridiculous! Combined with other PvP gear (lacking hitrating) it becomes troublesome to bridge the gap. This means either farming 5-mans for the partial hit rating gems or the AH for some expensive dawnstones. Really dissapointing but I guess this is strictly for PVP and nothing else, as trying to raid (occasionally we like to do that too in case guildies need help) would most likely put you at the very bottom od dps charts. Yes, smacking raid bosses with only 5% hit just doesn't cut it.

As of June 24th, with the release of S4, the prices on all Season 3 gear has been decreased:

Helm: 1500 Arena Points
Shoulders: 1200 Arena Points (1950 Team and Personal Rating)
Chest: 1500 Arena Points
Hands: 900 Arena Points
Legs: 1500 Arena Points

Total Arena Cost: 6,600 Arena Points
