it doesn't say it requires Golbin anywhere, only to MAKE it. As far as I see here a Goblin engineer can make them and give them to a 29 twink.

Really not worth the materials it costs to make these.
Three second cast and very short range.

Also, the mats -
Mithril Casing - 3 Mithril Bars
Unstable Trigger - 1 Mithril Bar, 1 Mageweave Cloth, 1 Solid Plasting Powder
Solid Dynamite x6 - 18 Solid Blasting Powders, 18 Silk Cloths

At first I thought it was something like stun, however after using "nades" for a while, I still have yet to see the affects of disorienting....

it's not the master engineer, its the goblin engineer who gives this out, in the hut to the left of the inn in Gadgetzen he resides... and you have to be goblin to get it of course

someone posted you have to be a goblin engineer to make this bomb? i was under the impression that only the items that said "gnomish" this or "goblin" that were engineer type specific.... what other items are specific to engineer type that arent plainly listed?

im trying to figure out which road to take and so far im torn....

All I have to say is this bomb is the most asskickingest thing in creation.

It has one slight drawback, two actually.

1: You can't hurl it far. No iron grenades here, sorry.

2: It takes about 4-5 seconds to light, unlike some bombs that go off in 1-2 seconds.

However, I just smoked a 45 mage, 39 druid, and 33 rogue, and I was alone (i'm a 44 priest) all because of this bomb, it is THE WIN! period. Have fun goblin engineers!

You can get this schematic from the goblin engineer near the warlock tower in Ratchet: Have fun ^_^you learn it as a goblin engineer, I don't know if the Gadgetzan goblin engineer knows it.

I am a goblin engineer with valid membership (first period - not had a renwal yet). I have been to Everlook and got the new movement schematic from the trainer there. My engineering is at 284. But I have the same problem as the above poster. The goblin in Gadgetzan (yes the one outside the hut) does not have the ability to train me with the big one, nor with the other goblin items listed for my lvl. Should I renew early before my card is up? Or is there some bug. I cannot I presume go to the goblin trainer near the warlock tower in Ratchet since I am alliance. I am also lvl 51 so I do not believe it is a level thing. If I cannot get the recipe for the big one, I cannot make the transporter. Any thoughts? Help?

Isn't the MASTER goblin engineer there? Doesn't he teach you all things goblin? Or are you mixing him up with the master engineer. IF I hurl one of these in warsong gulch, will everone know that I'm here and im a goblin engineer?

If you throw a bomb from stealth, do you unstealth immediately when you start throwing the bomb, or do you not unstealth until after the bomb is thrown?

You say that the goblin outside the hut cannot teach you the big one? This is because the outside the hut guy is the master engineer. Just engineering. The goblin engineer is in the hut. Go to the one IN the hut?

Disorient is a gouge-like effect, meaning (I believe) damage done dispells the effect, unlike stun, where you can beat on em all day and they just stay dizzy.
The Big One's are very cool, HUGE blast radius, its insane. They take a while to throw though, but it's very fun to follow a whole group into the enemy flag room and stand in the middle and throw one down at your feet and kill or disorient EVERY enemy in the room. Awsome for people without a real aoe, just remember to use em, I always forget. They also (obviously) require rocket fuel, so if you have an alchemy friend get em to wip up a bunch up for ya and just keep em in the bank.

I have a valid membership
I have checked ratchet trainers master and expert master only offers new member ship
I have checked gadgeton with the same results
is this bugged?

you have to have your Membership-Card in your Inventory in order to learn Goblin-recipes (this one I've learned in Ratchet)

This weapon is HUGE in Battleground fights. Easily able to stun 10-15 players for 5 seconds with these badboys, and then follow it up with the goblin dragon gun FTW!

Seriously, the main reason to go Goblin Engineering is to have these at your disposal. Can't say enough good thing about them.

There is no doubt engineers, this is THE best bomb for PvP! U can pay 20g+ for the arcane bomb or make the dark iron and lose the radius. It's not a problem if u waste 1-2 because the sheer joy in hitting 5+ ppl PvP is the epiphany of diabolic pwnage joy...

3 sec cast, won't get interrupted unless u're gouged/stunned whatever,you can't throw it far, but the radius is huge, mats cost a little over the top, limited use.

Best place to drop it: WSG flagroom balconies, stand near the edge and boom, your flagcarrier will have a 5 sec breather. And it does crit, 935 so far.

:P I fully intend to use it on my 24 rogue! No one suspects the little guy...til he sets up the Big One! :D Steal upto a node in AB or onto WSG roof....find 4 allies sitting together holding hands....BOOM BABY! Combine this with a hefty Ambush as well and you're looking at most normal players being extinct! ;P I look forward to trying this tactic to take on 2 lvl 29s ^^

You learn this recipe in Ratchet. When you arrive from Boat/Flight path, just head north. Search for the engineering trainer. The Goblin Engineering trainer is 3 feets away from him.

Coords : 62,69 ; 36,25

(yes, it's precise. for those that don't have a such precision on your mod, 62,36 will do the job.)

According to Thottbot, the spell blizzard is an 8 yard radius. "The Big One" is a 10 yard radius.

This'll give my mage engineer a run for it's money!

There's a lot of confusion about this currently. There are basically four types of items that can be made by engineers:

BoE items that can be used by any engineer and traded.
BoP items that can be crafted by a specific specialization, but used by any engineer
Items that require a specific specialization to use.
BoP items that can be crafted by an engineer, but can be used even after engineering is dropped

If your intent is to switch to Goblin after crafting all the goodies (by dropping and re-leveling Engineering), you should probably craft all of these items, but you must craft Gnomish Goggles, Gnomish Battle Chicken, Gnomish Death Ray, and Lil' Smoky (these are BoP) or you will lose access to these items permanently (unless you drop and re-level gnomish engineering again.

Ultrasafe Transporter: Gadgetzan and World Enlarger cannot be used by a non-gnomish engineer, so you can skip crafting these if you're planning on switching.

NOTE: Gnomish Death Ray doesn't require Engineering to use, so technically, you could level Engineering to craft this item, and drop it and still be able to use it.

The Big One

- Approx 11 yd cast range. At 20 yd away from an npc, the 10yd targeting radius of The Big One slightly exceeds the target, while a rain of fire (8yd aoe) is slightly short of the target.

- 3.0 second cast time.

- As with all other bombs, casting is cancelled if you move. YOU MUST STAY STILL TO CAST THIS.

- Save 1 TheBigOne if you want to later create a Dimensional Ripper - Everlook

Casting range is 15 yards, so nothing special, but the radius is 10 yards.
The only problem is, it has a casting time of 3 seconds, which renders it unusable in most cases. Might wanna combo it with other crowd control abilities like frost trap, to completely shut down anyone, foolish enough to try and cross it.
