Im a bit Confused...

Can we Engineers make this Reciept just like the Goblin Roket Fuel Reciept?

I am now an 255 Skillpoints Goblin Engineer and i have bought everything i could at all my trainers, but i haven't got this Reciept.

And the Sad thing is, even if i would find this reciept, we have no really skilled Blacksmith in our Gilde.

Damn... i really would like to have my Mithril Dragonling...

Where is the person who learn the engineer to make the plans?

I would like to know where the NPC is that sells these plans or what drops it, I see it on the AH alot for 1G so I can probley get it from an NPC for less than 20S and if its a drop it probley drops prettey frequentley.

No, these plans don't drop, an Gnome Engin "makes" them. See the info above.

I have Gnomish engineering, as a Gnome, and was able to get this recipe from Chief Engineer Overspark in Ironforge. It's under the secret Gnomish engineering schematics link when you right click on him.

I don't know if Goblin engineering can get this recipe, and as to where Horde players get it, try the guy you signed up for Gnomish engineering.

Hmm, I dont really get it... How can horde get the schematics to make the Plans so the Blacksmithers can make the cylinder 0.o

It was also confusing for me.

Engineers can make the plans, with and

and with those plans, blacksmiths with a skill of 200 can learn those plans, and they can make the item wich requires :

1x Gold Bar
1x Truesilver Bar
5x Mithril Bar

ENGINEERS make plans ,
BLACKSMITH make the item.

I have gnomish engineering, i dunno if it requires gnomish engineering or just engineering, but i could learn how to make those plans from trainer.

For goblin rocket fuel you simply had to have enough engineering points and then talk to the goblin engineer trainer in gadget to learn how to make the plans.

I figured since the rocket fuel says something like,"used by goblin engineers...blah blah", and the goblin engineers make the recipe, that that means since the inlaid mithril cylinder says, "used by gnomish engineers...blah blah" that they make the plan.

THUS! you should get the plans from whomever taught you gnomish engineering, and it will be under the "secret gnomish engineer" section.

NOTE:: ONLY gnomish engineers can learn how to make the recipe, engineers(that haven't chosen) or goblin engineers can not.

And to the above poster, since you made them that means you'll probably need them sooner or later, so I wouldn't sell them for too much unless you want to spend the moolah on the cylinders once they're made. thats how i see it anyway.

For Engineers:
Only GNOMISCH engineers can make this item. You can learn this at master oversprak in tinkertown in IF.

For BS:
You will have to buy this recipe either of the AH or a friend since only engineers can make it.

I am a gnomish engineer and I can't find someone to train me the ability to make these plans. I am from Horde, anyone know where a horde player can learn this?

I just realized that i have learned it already... The Gnome on BOOT BAY, he is the one that teach you how to make the plans...

I was really confused, but yours cleared it up.

The Trainer is in Booty Bay at 28,76, to teach us how to make the plans to then give to our blacksmith buddies. Maybe you can get the training in IF, too, but not from the regular trainers. Dunno. And it is odd. Even after you complete the quest for gnomish engin., none of the trainers tell you where to go for gnomish training.

I am horde have just started down the Gnome engineer path.
I have learned some Gnome recipes from the Gnome Engineer in Booty Bay who inducts you (on the higher gangplank level- between the Blacksmith forge and the over-turned boat with the goblin sleeping in it).
I am assuming that this is where I need to go to get more gnome eng plans (and to Ogrimaar for the non-gnome plans).

This thing is driving me crazy

i am a gnomish engineer 241 skill

and i cannot find this anywhere on the horde side i have talked to the trainer in BB where other ppl have said you learn it but it is not there does it even exsit =/

can someone plz tell me what is wrong or the right place to learn to make this... For Horde not Alliance

I found i had the option to make the plans. I just looked one day and was able to make them. I still have no idea how I got them.But I sell them in the AH

The Plans can be learned by a trainer but not in Booty Bay but in Ratchet...At least I learned them from there :)..damn now I have to look for a Blacksmith..Its never easy!

Really recommend Blacksmiths use this to level Blacksmithing if True-silver is cheaper than Iron on your server.

There's a lot of confusion about this currently. There are basically four types of items that can be made by engineers:

BoE items that can be used by any engineer and traded.
BoP items that can be crafted by a specific specialization, but used by any engineer
Items that require a specific specialization to use.
BoP items that can be crafted by an engineer, but can be used even after engineering is dropped

Gnomish Engineering allows you to craft these items:

If your intent is to switch to Goblin after crafting all the goodies (by dropping and re-leveling Engineering), you should probably craft all of these items, but you must craft Gnomish Goggles, Gnomish Battle Chicken, Gnomish Death Ray, and Lil' Smoky (these are BoP) or you will lose access to these items permanently (unless you drop and re-level gnomish engineering again.

Ultrasafe Transporter: Gadgetzan and World Enlarger cannot be used by a non-gnomish engineer, so you can skip crafting these if you're planning on switching.

NOTE: Gnomish Death Ray doesn't require Engineering to use, so technically, you could level Engineering to craft this item, and drop it and still be able to use it.
