I make it a point to check for Teremus every time I go to Kara. Last night I got a Glowing Brightwood staff in addition to the random blue from one of the chests. Quite a nice suprise I must say.

The rare gem just dropped on a random mob in blasted lands for me....

i turned it in and got :
Shadowblade (epic dagger) and
some rare polearm cant remember the name..

pretty lucky i guees :P

this boss can be 5-manned easily.

me and some guildies decided to go to badlands to see if we could find him.
luckly we found him and decided we were gonna try and 5 man him.
He dropped 2 spheres and on returning the spheres we got 2 blue boe's

mug o hurt and something else.

This boss is easier then it seems, ignore those who say its a 20 man raid dragon.

the fight doesent take more then 3-5 min.
Only thing about him is he knockbacks the tank and then flys and goes to kill the healers/masges/casters so be careful on that.

I just 3 manned the guy he was easy but the loot was just one sphere which ended up as a deepfury bracers from the chest :( wow 10 whole gold on my server too bad it wasnt stockade pauldrons.

just got the blue shard off of the helboars doing the warrior quest. handed it in and got the stockade pauldrons. woo hoo i am one happy warrior!

Kited him to Stonard, took over 15 mins to kill and only got 1 of the gems. :(

Edit: To date I have killed him 3 times in the last week or so.
All but the last time, I have gotten 1 gem from the kill. This last time I got 3 :)

Yesterday i kited him from Blastedlands to SW 2 ez imo i had a priest Heal me once in my group but since Guards are lvl 65 The Dragon got pwned be4 he reached AH, he dropped 3 and i gave 1 to My friend Got ok drops and i just killed him again from BL to SW dropped 2 this time and got more @#$%ty Boe Blues hes really fun and gives a whole load of Fun ;D all the noobs shout "OMFG! RUN FOR UR LIFEZ!" and the aoe kills them very fun :)

Temerus goes on evade if he is more than ~50 yards from his patrol route. You cannot kite him to stormwind.

Temerus, one of the Black Dragonflight, posted as the guardian of Blasted Lands is indeed kitable.

The strategy is tough though as with any mob if you get too far away from him (roughly 70 yards) he will drop agro/target and return to his ominous patrol route, so the idea with kiting him to Stormwind is to stay inside that range and keep a hold with a DoT or periodic shots.

Before we continue, let’s say this is best done with a Hunter and AotC.

My best suggestion is to take Teremus up through Blasted Lands, through the Swamp of Sorrows, into the Deadwind Pass, across Duskwood to the north, cross the river into Elwynn Forest, and complete the path to Stormwind.
Alternatively you could drag Teremus across Duskwood, and into Westfall if you're having trouble with crossing the river or want to stay on a land-route.

So Teremus is about to cross the river into Elwynn Forest, Good! You're almost there!

Congratulations, you've successfully kited a dragon, nonetheless one of the malicious Deathwing following, to Stormwind. The guards should mobilize almost immediately to cull the threat and low level players should parade through the streets in utter fear. (The entire ordeal takes about 30 minutes)

There should be some Flawless Draenethyst Sphere on his body if you have accepted the quest:
To Serve Kum'isha
-or-
Kum'isha's Endeavors
If this is a repeat attempt or there is more than one of the sphere's on his body (which is HIGHLY probable)
Kum'isha is located in the central area of the map in Blasted Lands, slightly northwest of The Dark Portal and southwest of Nethergarde Keep. When you complete the quest a short interlude should start with Kum'isha sending his brethren into a portal. You should be able to spot him at a small camp with many ‘Lost One’ Draenei NPC’s.

So fantastic! Spheres are collected and turned in, you should have one or more of the Emerald Encrusted Chest in your bags now, each one contains a Superior or Epic quality item ranging from level 40 to 50 the odds are endless, the first time I killed Teremus, it gave me some stuff:
Wyrmslayer Spaulders
Executioner's Cleaver
Serpent Slicer
Lei of Lilies

To our Horde brothers and sisters, I’m sorry, but I could not think of a way off the top of my head to make it easy for you to make a quick kill on this treacherous Teremus. The ‘normal’ way to get the spheres involves a party of about 5 level 60’s or a diminishing number if they are level 60+.

I hope this helped someone out there, may my fellows Hunt dearly and loot daily.

This "boss" is easeh, glad he spawns every day so I get to solo him whaha. As a Holy Paladin this is really easy ( I'm level 70 yeh )Just most of the time auto attacking it with seal of righteousness and spamming Holy Shock, when getting on 60% mana after some nuking just pop out Blessing of Wisdom and Seal of Wisdom and wait untill getting more mana and some small nuking again. He hits fairly weak and most of the time resisting on spells most of the time.

Killing Teremus the Devourer has become my daily thing, he roams around every day and soloing him is easy and sometimes rewarding. Few times already gotten an epic item from turning the orbs and gotten some cash from them aswell. His spawn time is a bit less than 24 hours, as far as I know.

i looted a hurricane while helping a friend out with a quest in EPL, and the next day, i killed teremus with a druid friend and 3 orbs dropped! i got one orb and he got two. is only fair, i looted hurricane the day before :p

soloed today -70 holy pally

for a level 70 with plate he didnt hit hard at all bout 450 a swing got 1 pearl thing EZ way to farm blues

Soloed teroumous the devourer 70 prot warrior blocked all his attacks pretty much and resisted his fire breath deal. got 2 globes off him and got the elven boots and guttbuster

The dragon is very weak but he is immune to hunter pet taunt, and hunters mark too

trust me.....he cant be kited. he will always go back to his normal patrol if he goes to far from the route no matter what. it is a daily guild tradition to kill him. people just try to show off about kiting him but they just make themselves look like tards.

the prot warrior is full of crap, I'm lvl 70 prot war with full kara epics and he still hits 200-400s on me hes not soloable by a lvl 70 prot war

I'm a level 70 holy spec pally with mainly green and a couple of odd blue items and found him fairly easy to solo. Just took ages. Got 3 spheres and a bit of silver.

i soloed him a while back ago on my hunter he hits weak but everytime my pet got knocked back he became evade but i did it after a few trys:) i have almost full epic now but back then i did not so ya 500hits and 1k+crits is weak anyone can pwn him 60+

I got some Green Plate Boots of the Boar, Blue Skibi's Pendant, and Purple Taran Icebreaker. Thats like 200Gs worth of stuff ^_^ (at its overpriced AH price. Everything is overpriced multiplied by the same number so, it's balanced).
