70 hunters will find these very usefull when farming multiple mobs.

I use the Mark of Conquest trinket while farming because of the mana restore proc, but the downside is that every time it procs I draw agro from all the mobs who haven't taken any damage.

Use the Crystal Spire to put a damage shield on your pet and he will hold agro on all the mobs. It's not a lot of agro, so you can still pull a mob off into a freeze trap with just a single shot, but they will stay on your pet untill you purposefully pull them off.

There are a couple pets that have an AoE attack, but they are not otherwise high damage pets. A ravager pet with a damage shield is high dps and good agro controll.

This item doesn't seem to work through Power Word: Shield. So this maynot be the best for a priest.

With the enhancement shaman I am leveling up I find these things great. The added dps, although little, is a help while grinding, but where this is more helpful is in PuGs. I just drop this on the tank, and help him get that little extra threat to give me a little more safety room.

Also, it receives the buff from stormstrike doing 14/15 damage, but doesn't use up the SS charges.

I may have to farm a bunch of these for my paladin. A damage shield would be amazing for AoE grinding.

looks like all your @#$%^ing has paid off guys it no longer says "Use: A crystal shield surrounds the friendly target, doing 12 damage to anyone who hits her. Lasts 10 minutes."

as of the 2.0 patch it now says "Use: A crystal shield surrounds the friendly target, doing 12 damage to anyone who hits HIM. Lasts 10 minutes."

Guess they're refering to the shield rather then to the character you're shielding, therefor they're using she for as far as I can tell...

Have no idea how long the Priest Epic Quest lasts, but this seems to be a free alternative to oil of immolation against the skeletons :)

Um.. no, grammatically correct would be saying, "his" regardless of the gender, but in these modern times people follow the political use of gender identifying saying, "his" or "her".

This buff is NOT a shield per se like Power Word: Shield, it WONT protect the target against attack damage! This will only give attackers of the target 12 nature damage. So in theory it could be used on tanks without risking losing their threat/rage, but I can not confirm this yet.

When I tried use this today as tank It replaced my thorns. I cannot confirm if this will always happen or if it was a bug. Just wanted to give a heads up

This object plays a role in quests and enchantment recipes. You feed a certain amount of crystals into the pylon and receive the desired item. All items are found and used in Un'Goro Crater.

This counts as the same type as fireshield from the Warlock's imp, as well as a druid's thorns, which means it won't even cast because both of those abilities are more powerful. So it makes it much worse than I thought it would be. I farmed a few of them and found out after the fact. But it might be okay as a paladin or warrior tank in a group without a druid or warlock. Because it only lasts 10 minutes, it isn't useful for farming because it uses the 2 most expensive crystals to make (blue / yellow).

I wonder if it was this way in vanilla. I'm hoping it wasn't so that it could possibly be changed.
