Best blue priest gloves in the game.
Does anybody know how to get them. I read the princess drops nothing when you kill her.

Our healer won these, but never received the loot. The corpse vanished.

Okay, which princess do you have to kill to get these gloves? Will they drop of the standard princess, or do you all have to have completed the quest to get the high priestess to spawn, to get these gloves?

Princess Moira will drop loot if at least one person has finished the 'Royal Rescue' quest. However, only those people who have finished the quest can get the loot, but they can *all* roll on it. If someone who hasn't finished the quest wins the roll... *poof*... the loot goes up in smoke. Bit of a bugger. I had it happen to one of the other items she drops when I was trying to get this. What a waste of a shard!

I was on a priest a few nights ago and these dropped. I rolled need, won them, and didn't get them. I petitioned a GM and got a "We're forewarding it to a specialist" and they told me today in an e-mail they can't restore it. They didn't bother to explain why, just that they can't restore it. Heck, I didn't even get them I'm not asking to restore a lost item, I'm asking to just get it, but they won't restore them. Bogus if you ask me, if she drops the item, we should be able to loot it if we can roll.

ATTENTION PRIESTS
1) Princess's low item drop rate is false - most groups that kill her dont have a member who has completed Royal rescue, so nil drops. Drop rate for gloves with 1 person completed will be 30% plus.
2) You can try to get in a group raid or 5 man that has all done royal rescue then you will get the high priestess spawn, but thats going to be a real pain to arrange.

So the easiest way to farm these glove / drops -

Get in/ organise the best balanced 5 man group you can for BRD, doesnt matter if others on royal rescue or not just make sure you are for this run. Best bet guildmates of level 60 :)
Complete the 5 man royal rescue run

Now you ready to farm
Ask guild / Spam LFG for raid to BRD, bigger group = faster farming run
Before run goes out ask who has completed the 5 man royal rescue quest (ty destria2000) explain -
only those people who have finished the quest can get the loot, but they can *all* roll on it. If someone who hasn't finished the quest wins the roll... *poof*... the loot goes up in smoke

Make sure all agree/understand they will pass / not roll on what the princess drops, unless they have completed royal rescue.
Tell anyone on royal rescue at moment (will be some) they cant complete it in raid anyway so no need to spare princess on this run -quest is ignored in raid cant succeed or fail (fail bits a guess lol but easy enough to retake).
Should take max 3 runs in a nice quick full raid group for the gloves :)

In case it's not clear from above -
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THESE GLOVES UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED ROYAL RESCUE ON AN EARLIER RUN.
even if they drop you cant loot them
If Master Loot is set the Master looter must have completed the quest, otherwise he wont see anything to offer around.

If you have to complete the Royal Rescue quest in order for Hands of the Exalted Herald to drop, does this mean it is a horde only drop? There is no Royal Rescue quest for the Alliance that I know of, unless it goes by another name.

Yesterday I was there with a group, being the only priest and only 52. When we killed (?) the princess and the drop came I was the onlyone with a need, so I won but didn't get the gloves. After sending a message to the GM I received the answer that they have checked it and they sent the gloves, so now I have them, can't wait to become 54 to wear them.

Are these still dependent on the ROYAL RESCUE quest having been completed? Or did the new patch fix that problem?

I want these gloves, but screw that quest...

From Princess Moira Bronzebeard. Make sure you've done the questline first, or you can't get her drops(you can roll for them, but if you win, the loot is destroyed(Go Blizzard!;) )).
