Considering not many people run ZG anymore this has become a hard reagent to find on my server. It would be great if Blizzard changed the drop rates to something more easily accessible.

I solo farmed these off those undead trolls in EPL, but it took a long time to get what I needed.

I was on EPl trying to farm em, but i get just one in 1 hour.

Anybody knows if something happened with the 2.3 patch with this powerful mojo's ?

You may also consider clearing the elites outside ZG, there is usually a rare spawn there but the respawn on the mobs tends to be kind of low, in a full clear of them I got 3 powerful mojos.

edit: massively long respawn on them.

easily farmed by a 70 mage in lbrs off the trolls, the packs hit a little hard, so high dps or high stam is a good thing.

Also easily farmed solo (at level 70, that is) in Eastern Plaguelands from Mossflayer trolls around Zul'Mashar.

ZG is the best place to farm these. 50,18 is the entrance in STV. One dropped every 2-4 kills. Beware lowbies. ZG is a lvl 60 raid. Though the elites can EASILY be solo'd by any 70.

I tried going to ZG to farm powerful mojo's, but it's a raid instance and I couldn't get in being solo. So I went to kill the mossflayers in Eastern Plaguelands.

I was happy with the results. I didn't count the kills or time. But it seemed like 2 hours...maybe a bit less. I got 11 powerful mojo's in that time, along with 7+ stacks of runecloth (great place to farm runecloth if you need it) and some good gold too. The mobs seemed to drop between 1-10 silver per, and they go down fast for the level 70 hunter I came with.

I wrecked these trolls in EPL. I put a smack down on 'em and killed every single one, the infected everything. Not one single mojo dropped! Plenty of runecloth but not one mojo.

just started farming the trolls in epl, and i'm happy with the results. i get about a 25% drop rate off these guys, tons of runecloth and i got 3 schematics for flawless arcanire rifle in 1 go my first time there.
forgot to mention, 15% drop rate for essence of death as well

I farmed ALL those trolls in EPL, even up and down the temple, and got only 2 for my time/trouble. I wouldn't have bothered so much, but need them to lvl up my JC.

Seemed it only dropped off of "Cannibals", and if you wanted to kill more of them, you had to go around again in order to get cannibals repopping.

Oh, this is on Kalecgos.

Spent 45 minutes killing the trolls near the temple in EPL. Got 4 of these and 5 stacks of runecloth. I have leveled 3 characters to 70 in the past 2 years and today was the first time I have even heard of this.

I was farming for the Powerful Mojo in Northeast of Eastern Plagueland (Zul Mashar). For an hour, I got 4 stacks of Runecloth. 4 Powerful Mojo dropped from Mossflayer Shadowhunter and a rare spawn named Warlord Thresh'jin dropped 1 (he dropped a nice chest plate as well) but otherwise, the other trolls didn't drop any for me. hope this helps-happy hunting & farming

Tried farming ZG for them first -- went with a friend. We cleared pretty much every pack of trolls in the place less than 3 (groups of 4 we found were doable more trouble than they were worth, unless it was some of the easy ones with snakes or panthers), and after an hour only had 3 powerful mojos to show for it, and not much in terms of gold or other trash drops, since ZG coins are worthless now.

Then I went up to Zul Mashar as people have suggested, and got 4 in about 20 minutes. Zul Mashar definitely better than trying to solo or duo ZG. Drop rate might be lower, but you can kill them 10 times faster with no danger.

Ok, I was in Zul'Mashar soloing as a 59 Fire Mage for just about 2 hours. Came out with 1 Powerful Mojo, 1 Essence of Undeath and a bag full of Runecloth. This drop rate is terrible, but whats even worse is the price on the AH. The Mojos are currently selling for about 11-15G ea. I think I'll stay longer and wait it out. =P

Zul'Mashar is the place to farm these... lots of mobs, all of them have a chance to drop it, in a relatively small area. As a 70 rogue, i was killing about 3 every 10 seconds, so it only took me a little less than an hour to farm the 6 I needed... I actually had so much fun just massacring them, i stuck around and farmed some more!

PS: There's this small graveyard at the mesa of the cliffs, before the temple (you'll notice dirt piles and Infiltrator Hameya walking around it). I didn't know about it at first, so I skirted it killing the trolls around it, when along came this 70 human pally and a 56 rogue to kill Hameya. They ran into the graves and about 12 infected mossflayer trolls spawned and raped their faces. After I had a good laugh, I attacked Hameya from the opposite side of the graves, and only 1 spawned... so you can kill him without pulling the graveyard.

I farmed the trolls in Zul'Mashar for 1 1/2 hours and got 10 Powerful Mojo, 13 Essence of Undeath, 2 greens, 1 flawless arcanite rifle schematic, and 15g in coin and vendor.

My droprate for the Mojo was roughly 8% off the Scouts and 6% from the Cannibals. Such a horrible grind just to level jewelcrafting.

Sold one for 55g... on the first try. These are alot rarer to come by in the AH now, and the average price doesn't seem to reflect trade on my realm at all.

Am in process of doing it. Got 3 of 4 on kills outside of base on road leading up and then about 10% after that. Got my second card drop "two of portals " in 1 1/2 years of playing. Runecloth , gold and green drops when u kill the named guys. The rez in the middle is quick.I'm a geared 70 druid and it was close.No schematics so far in about 1/2 hr

I went to Eastern Plaguelands and killed Mossflayer Trolls.

Top right of the map (north east), not a great drop rate, but still they drop there. Used to level my jewlcrafting.

Take notice! I just went to the place in EPL, North East, Zul'M****, grinded there for about 30-40 minutes on 70 Rogue, takes 1-2sec to slay each mob, and I ended up with 8 Powerful mojos and 5 stacks of runecloth.

Obviusly Blizzard has higherd the drop rate or Im incredibly lucky! Happy farming! Very nice to farm those Mojos if your training from 280-300 JC!

Went to the place in EPL, drop rate is about estimated, 2% at best, took my 65 rogue so i could mine as well, destroying the camp in no time with very little effort. So if you wanna level JC this is definately a good way to do it, just really really time consuming..

Edit: took my warlock up there as well, parked the rogue in case a node spawned, sent my VW thru the center of graves spawning all adds and seeding them down, much quicker way to do this.. AoE ftw!

They drop pretty regularly off of the trolls in the Alterac Valley battleground. I think they are called the Winterbark, not 100% but there is only one camp of trolls so it doesn't matter much.
