Not a bad two-hander. Gets pretty good milage out of Seal of Command on my 53 Paladin, and I'm liking the 3% to hit. At 3.00 speed, I'd like as many of my attacks to connect as possible. After all, you can't crit what you can't hit!

Looks cool and goes for pretty cheap to boot. Not a bad package!

Quite an excellent weapon for a 49 warrior twink. The top end damage is lower then some other options and the weapon speed is a bit too quick for large crits. One bonus it does have is sword spec, which is arguably the best weapon spec for burst damage in PvP environments.

low level hunters, dont forget to pick this sword up if you can. the 3 str is all but a waste but +3% hit is very usefull to a hunter. even more so if you have no +hit at all yet. most will use this till a barb blade form DM.

I got this for my Drae Hunter. The 30hit rating is just sweet as it gives 4% Hit at level 47, backed with drae racial of 1% its perfect item to carry him on into outland. Should work well with a 25agi enchant.

I got this item in one of the Relic Coffers in Blackrock Depths, https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/object=160836, and I did not need to roll on it with my group. I think it should be added to the loot table.

This sword is kind of good... and kind of bad at the same time.

On one hand, it has almost enough hit rating to get you hit capped if you're twinking at 49, which is really nice.

But then on the other hand, it is very fast, making it terrible for Seal of Command. It is also not good for Mortal Strike, but Mortal Strike doesn't suffer quite as bad as Seal of Command does, since the fast speed lower the chance to proc on each hit, which results in drastically lower burst damage. The weapon also has no stamina and minimal strength...

So, if you see one pretty cheap, and you're playing as an MS warrior, or a 2H fury (If those even exist anymore) you might want to give it a try if you don't already have a nice weapon. Otherwise pass it up for something else.

I am wondering that with ur example of improves chance to hit with ranged weapons blabla still counts for ..

this weapon has good DPS for its level requirement and good stats for a warrior. 3 force is just a little add but 3% hit is great for a warrior. i saw two of these at the AH for 10g buyout, very cheap. i might buy it and use it when i get the lvl.

Just turned 47 last night and i already had one with a fiery on it in the bank (friend gave it to me, he owed me) and it's awesome! Looks great with my gear.

Currently use it on my 47 arms based warrior. With works very well with MS, the 3.0 speed certainly speeds up my kills over my Rockpounder mace. Dmg is nice too. The +30 to hit tho is so wonderful, really helps ensure your MS isn't a swing and a miss. If your a 2H based warrior I suggest you look into getting this.

I use on my level 49 warrior.Its not really twink gear but i dont really think of my warrior as a full twink. All in all for 20g i was number 1 on the damage charts in warsong a lot of times. Taran Icebreaker here i come ;)

ehhhhhh. it looks awesome no doubt.......but i woulda liked to see it give some stanima.......get rid of the +3 strength and make it stanima imo. i think ill get this for my dwarf hes 44. well thats that.

Good hunter weapon. Pruchased for 12g at lvl47, used until lvl 54. +3.5% hit makes all the difference, never missed a shot. (Also had +3% chance to hit from survival talents).

Don't bite my head off, but is it worth it to buy Warmonger and put Fiery on it when I already have Nightblade with Fiery. The differences are +1.6 DPS, +3 Str, and +30 Hit Rating to the Warmonger. But the nightblade is 2.80 speed instead of 3.00 and has Chance to Hit: Shadow dmg 125-275 which does hit fairly often. So give me your honest opinions and leave the harsh attacks out of it.

I;ve had this on both my warrior and (now) my hunter.

On my warrior, I put fiery on it and all that. But, honestly, I wasn't that impressed by it.

On my hunter, however, it's really good. Whoever posted a few above is absolutely right. The 30 hit rating means that you NEVER miss. It's nice.

Many ppl says this is a good weapon for a MS warrior, but thats very wrong becous when you play with MS u need, just like a rouge, the slowest weapon possible so your instant attacks will deal more damage. 3.00 is actualy not good speed at all so i whould not buy this weapon unless it where very cheap.

Dropped off a Jadefire Shadowstalker in Felwood.

I love this sword. I am a Rogue but am keeping this for if I ever make a warrior. Decent DPS, +3 str obviously isnt much but its something, but 3% better chance to hit is massive.

Got this on euro stormrage server for 7G at lvl 24(just put demon slaying on it aswell for a mear 5g) the price on this weapon can vary sooo much: our AH looks like this:

Critical Strike of over 2000 !
and chance on hit of 40 Fire Damage with enchant !
and +3% Chance to hit .................................. Priceless !

Tidy Sword IMO

I still have my Phantom Blade and a sheild as back up for damage taking, but this really kicks ass.

Can't wait to try beserker stance with it tonight :)

Firstly bought mine for 18g from outside the AH and i am so pleased with it. As a lvl 55 paladin using SoC it deals loads of damage, and it is also nice and slow :D.

Recenlty saw one for 12g buyout in AH!

Got this sword out of the greater Prize bag from the DMF all you have to do to get easy tickets is farm the harpies out of 1k needles and get the plumes =D

I've got a warmonger with greater impact (or something)... my dps with this weapon is something in the low 70s... not great (I'm a hunter, btw)... I dual a Phantom Blade and a Sword of Serenity (both 30+ dps) and get 80+ dps with those.

I hoped my weapon skill (as it improved) would pump up my dps (as listed on the character screen), but it seems only strength increases that (power etc).

I've gotta say, I'm a little disappointed with 2H weapons; this a great looking weapon, but my DW apparently kicks bum in comparison. From what I've read, the math is different between 2H and DW weapons; can anyone help me figure out if my disappointment is warranted?

(I got this via a drop, btw - off a land strider in Feralas :-)

bought it on ah for 20g to check out of it affects my shooting on high lvl mobs (ie 63 and up elites) got 1% hit on my cloak and 1% hit on my gun aswell, so with racial +5 skill, I am hoping I'm gonna hit most of the shots, eheh.

Incredible for hunters. We don't care about it's melee dps, or the +3 strength but the +3% chance to hit is OP (especially at level 47). It's well worth the investment if you can pick it up off the auction house; you will get a lot of mileage out of it from 47-60 as there really aren't any better options until dual wielding enchanted Bone Slicing Hatchet or Barbarous Blade.
