This is a great pattern to sell, horde-side, since it's so hard to get. You either have to kill Fadran in Refuge Point and hope for a drop (I'm 0 for 3 on that count) or get an Ally alt to buy it and put it up in the Goblin AH, so you can buy it (I did that). Considering how easy it is to get raptor hide and the decent stats for this item, both the pattern and the belt can be a nice money-maker.

I'm pretty sure that this pattern is the alliance version of Raptor Hide Harness which is a pattern that's sold by the horde only. Both sides need -something- to use all their raptor hides on, right?

Really great to level up leatherworking for a small amount of heavy leather.

Make sure you get both of your heavy leather and your raptor hide from these mobs:

It's an alliance vendor that sells it, so yes, alliance can get this. However, if a horde wants it he either has to get it from the Gadgetzan auction house or raid Refuge Point..

ok...... I would like to buy these just for the training aspect... but... I do not see this item on the vendor at all.. neither of these belt and armor are being sold.... is there a time delay as to how long the vendor will respan this item?

Can u still get it if your lower than the lvl of the recipe, cos he never seems to have it.

So are all these people that say they've killed him and "it dropped" for them liars, or do I have a problem with my looting? I've never killed a flagged NPC and recieved any drop from them. I have stealthed this guy 8 times now, and not once was he ever "lootable." I'm really starrting to get pissed about it.

the time on this patten has to be over a hour or he dosent sell it any more cause i have been sitting here for over a hour waiting for it to pop. any 1 know if this is right

I have to disagree with previous once a day respawn comment. I logged onto server at 1730 server time, no recipe. Came back at 1838 server time, recipe had respawned. Maybe it's only added twice a day.

If you're looking at the comments on this recipe, plan, or quest you might be a collector or completionist.
This is a compiled list of all of the cross-faction recipes in the game.

Most (not all) Cooking recipes on the Alliance side are sold by Kendor Kabonka. The Horde do not have a corresponding NPC, so if you are an Alliance character wanting to create an alt on the opposite side to obtain the recipes for your main, unfortunately you'll have to have a level appropriate character to do the quests to obtain some of these recipes.

All of the recipes except one (Plans: Orcish War Leggings) can be traded cross-faction on the neutral AH.

Since WOTLK classic, something bizarre has been implemented. This item cannot be traded across the neutral AH to horde. When it's posted on the neutral AH, alliance characters can see it but horde cannot. The same is true for Pattern: Raptor Hide Harness, the horde exclusive item. I have also noticed the same behavior for Schematic: Red Firework and Schematic: Blue Firework. It seems these items can no longer be traded to the opposing faction, so if you have one that you've already transfered pre-wotlk I suggest saving it or charging big money for it.

Oddly, many other faction exclusive items can still be traded, like Pattern: Bright Yellow Shirt, so I'm not sure why certain items were targeted.

I'd be interested to know if anyone knows of any other items that are no longer sellable to the opposing faction.
