Rofl! was gona say...lol anyway a good place to farm for Small Brill shards is....

1. Get to lvl 60+ and solo Maraudon- Princess. Basically every single blue drop from bosses u DE it and u get a small Briliant shard. u can get 4x brilliant Shards in 1 run.

I passed all the mobs bascically and just defeated the bosses. 1 run took me 20 mins to do and got 20x Shard in about 3 hours. was quiete expensive at the time on my server :( 5g cause needed it to lvl up my enchanting! anyway Happy Farming

people look at previous posts before posting something of ur own........someone already posted a good place to farm shards, DONT ASK WHERE TO GET THEM!

Ah is the best place to "farm" them. Because, as someone pointed out all this is used in is 3 sucky enchants and they ge dumped on ah for lower and lower prices

The best way to get it is disenchanting from Sapphire Signet. You can ask your guild jewelcrafter to do this :-)

i've found a nice tactic....

currently grindingthe fiery weapon recipe, i've tried 4 times and no luck on the reipe, but i've had about 9 BoP drops which have DE'd into 8x Small brilliant shard and 1x large brilliant shard.

as a level 70 hunter it takes me roughly 10 mins to kill pyromancer, get out and reset...so if you just kill the first few bosses and reset the instance you will have plenty in no time at all

I can't say what the best way to get thes is, but I just got done making and disenchanting 20 runecloth belts (the runecloth pattern taught by the master in Theramore) and I got 2 shards. I don't know if I got more than average, or if that is even a good number for how many I made, but I'd say it's worth a shot.

Good way to get these things, is do runs in Maraudon. I had small brills comin out my frickin ears from all the junk none of my guildies wanted. Gizlock, u can spank him in about 15 minutes with a decent party, plus all the other junk you can get there. I walked out with a decent ammount of XP and about 18 small brils after getting my guildie his inventor's focal sword. 22 runs, but yeah, lotta shards.

if you have a good guild or just some friends that want to make money the last 2 bosses in cath's items are an easy low lvl source of these shards

The best way to get these? If you're high enough, solo the beginning of BRD. I can do it, no problem, with a 64 Druid; stealthing speeds it up and reduces the risk.

Bosses:
1. Ring of Law arena boss (random, one of 6; any item will be a small b. shard)
2. Houndmaster below the ring of law (go back out and go down)
3. Elemental rock miniboss; marked as a rare, patrols right outside the houndmaster's area
4. Interrogator girl in the jail area
5. Twilight Hammer mini-boss, marked as a rare, right next to the statue for the Shadowforge Key
6. Lord Incendius (usually gives a large shard, I think, but if you're there, why not?)

Optional, and more time-consuming, is to kill all four bosses in the Grim Guzzler as well.
1. Buy 6 Dark Iron Ale from the gnome bartender, and give them to Rocknot. He blasts open the door, and Phalanx becomes aggressive. Sneak out to him (and or wait for him outside, and kill him for an item (watch out for the punt!)
2. Kill the bartneder (turns the entire bar, except for the Goblin & pals, aggressive)
3. Go to the back room and destroy the kegs; brings out the dwarven mini-boss
4. Kill the patrons around the goblin, then kill the goblin and his friends. He actually only dropped a 16-slot backpack for me, but whatever.

As said, all done solo with tha 64 druid. If you're pressed for time, just kill the first 5 I listed, run back and reset, and do it again. Should take less than half an hour.
