You have to get an engineer to make you a Salt Shaker, which changes regular deeprock to refined deeprock. It's on a 3 day timer.

Bought mine on Spirestone for 3.5g on AH, also got a stack of Rugged Hides for 50s...seems real cheap.

On Llane, refined deeprock salt goes for 7-12 gold each, and cured rugged hides go for 2-4 gold each. Refined deeprock salt is a good money-maker most of the time.

Doesn't make much sense that it's more profitable to sell the refined salt than to sell something that's made using the refined salt. I also can rarely sell stacks of rugged hides (uncured), so what the heck is everybody using the refined deeprock salt for?

Mm.. on my server these are going for 11g, and the cured rugged hides for 13g~

I need 3 of them and i dont really want to wait for 9 days for my guildie to do it for me ;|

They are all on the same timer. no matter what you do, you have to wait 3 days, even if you have 3 shakers................

I tried and wasted precious gold on that little learning curve.....LOL

Grinding for the 3 Stormshroud Patterns was the easy Bit.

Trying to get a Salt Shaker on Bronzebeard Horde Side, now that's the Hard part :-/

Where does the deeprock salt come from? I have the salt shaker and have bought a bit of salt on AH, but where can I get more?

When you right click on the Salt Shaker, does it only refine one deeprock salt, a whole stack of deeprock salk (20?) or every stack of deeprock salt that you are carrying?

I need to buy a Salt Shaker. I've got about 5 Deeprock Salt on me at the moment and want to know if I should farm some more before I get the Salt Shaker (if it refines more than one at a time) or buy one straight away and get started refining (if is only does one at a time).

I understand this item needs leatherworking 250 which blew my plan to buy them for my alts. Only my main has leatherworking skill 251

I think you could mass produce deeprock salt by buying multiple shakers. But I could be wrong.

The Salt Shaker uses one Deeprock Salt to make one Refined Deeprock Salt every three days.
