This is a phenomenal wand for a warlock. Great wand to keep for AQ as well.

Doesn't take long to pick this wand up from Noxxion in Maraudon. The drop rate seems to be about 6% and it took my level 60 mage and my husband's 60 priest probably about 5 tries to get one for both of us. This boss also drops The Heart of Noxxion trinket, which gives you 10 extra NR and removes one poison effect. The trinket is not unique, so pick up two :D

This wand used to grant 10 Nature Resistance prior to patch 2.3, when it was changed to the version that can bee seen above. The above comments refer to its old stats.

This is a very nice wand for the level. It's a nice drop in MARA. Although yes, it is ineffective against the elementals in MARA (not a big deal), so I keep my previous wand as a secondary and have them bound to my side bar for fast switching.

It's not necessarily a warlock's wand. Stamina is still useful for all wand-users. However, nature damage seems almost useless for all wand-users. And sure warlocks, like myself, have a larger need and use for stamina, but wands are generally more important for holy priests than mages and warlocks (a good mage or warlock only uses a wand to finish off mobs when soloing and, in a group, should know how to conserve mana to last until the threat is gone). It's not always about the biggest dps. It's also about consistency and doing stuff to help the group as a whole kill the threat (which means Curse of Agony isn't the best curse in a group situation in most cases).

if you're a mage who vendored his Stormrager, this wand is acceptable for use on Fire/Arc/Frost/Shad-resistant trash in BWL.

ha! i also got noxious shooter on my first mara run although i swapped it for my lvl 50 Woestave
Its not bad but not great. You can do better than that wand i think

Got this on my first Mara run, only caster. I'll be using the priest reward Woestave instead whenever i do ST, but it's still nice wand and good backup for shadow-resistant mobs

definatly worth it for zg/AQ, it's dps is much better than the wand I have now, which is the natures whisper. Other good solo-5man able wands the next best wands are in UD strath, and don't drop often, and arn't even that much better. I'd say it's definatly worth the time, and difficulty of soloing.
Noxxion is definatly one of the harder mobs to solo. A mage shouldn't be that bad off with blink, frost bolt, and AE, but other clases will not be able to avoid the little guys, and they are a pain in the ass to deal with. He splits at certian times, not certian percents, so you have to drop him fast. I wish to see if he is immune to banish b/c that would be insanely helpful for us warlocks. I tried to solo with SM/ruin spec and was crushed, but I will try again tonight with SL/nightfall spec.

Something I am going to try on my next attempt is Nature Protection pot x 2. Pop one before the pull and let the timer cool down. Pop the other after the pull, and as soon as you see the buff go away or stop getting the absorbed message. The little spawns are all nature damage I believe. You should also equip NR gear I would say since almost all of his damage is nature based.

I am a Holy Priest, so I knew full well I was not going to be able to solo him. I brought a Rogue friend with me when I went. As two level 60's, we were able to skirt around all of the mobs (he didn't even bother to stealth). I highly highly highly recommend bringing someone with you!

Nice looking wand. Has a glowing effect and several leaves hang off from it.

It has 7 stamina, not 5. And the 5 NR make it good for AQ.

The +5 stamina makes it better than the ST wand in my opinion.
