LvL 64 prot pali I got a group for scholo 2 FULL clears nothing
I solo farmed all the UD mobs and a few respawns form SCSrat entrance to the chapel in UDStrat and.....Nothing...not a damn thing.
I farmed the elites in herthglen, the elites in the Tyr's Hand Church...nein
I farmed the demons in winterspring...SURVEY SAYS! XXX
I TRIED the felguard elite...oddly I Can easily solo a equal lvl and sometimes 1 lvl hight outland eilite but this guy....6 lvls LOWER then me.....oooh sorry the correct anwser is what is you fail
I farm ther Big Fat Ogre for that BL quest....yeah how about no.

It's good to see how much foresight blizzard has in their own game. GG putting making a world drop witha really bad drop rate a quest item. I'd probally have more luck farming barons mount then this pain in the ass...at least I know what mob will drop that.

I only really remember seeing these drop in Naxx and ZG...soo um yeah.

How can they have the servers be so unbalanced. I have only ever gotten 3arcane crystals total, in all my mining. to make 2 diamonds required for this that go for such widely varying prices is ridiculous. The Azerotian we need is now 20-25g & the Pristine goes for i'm being told after asking around goes for 200-500g. I've never even seen one drop. The SIX arcanite bars are now 60-75g each. The arthas tears are around 2g each.

The lady in SS wants 50g + 20 Enriched Mana biscuits form the east PL vendor.

Not only will it cost more, but it is going to be almost impossible, bec no pristines are evne avalable to buy. i would buy the regular epic now if i could get all my money back. All i need is the pristine & i dont have nearly enough for that now.
The least they could've done was give us som warning as to wahat we'd need, to try to start getting the stuff. Bliz can bite me. was is that hard for the undead to get their Badass epic mount? Don't think so

Why do people bother saying, "Oh boy, you got ripped off!"? Don't you people realize that each server's economy is different? On a newly opened expansion server, the price is gonna be high. On a server that's been around since opening day, it's most likely going to be low. So don't bother telling people they got ripped off, unless you're on the same server as the person you're referring to.

On Bladefist server it's going for 225g...sometimes even more. It really does seem like a crazy price. I've run Stratholme several times and no drops.

Oh well...will just have to keep grinding.

Droprate must have increased. Prices have dropped from around 200g to 80-100g buyout in a week. (Shadow Moon EU)

Today you can bid for 80s and buyout for 3g on Darksorrow server.Horde.

This is a quest item for the Pally Epic Mount quest chain. It is one of the last items needed.

i would guess that 200-350ish gold would be normal prive for this but i dont like spending money on quests... i would rather keep raiding (for mow) might get sick and tired of it later.... but i will keep raiding until i get the damn gem!

btw does anyone know anything about the next step.. the part where you have to saddle the spirit horse in DML strat and scholo i believe...?

I saw one drop in a 10 man ud strat raid on azgalar. I chose it as my one blue. only 3 of us rolled I had one until the 3rd guy rolled for it right at the end. I see him every day now trying to sell it in IF. I am a pal and sure could have used it.

Its also used for the pally epic mount quest, some moron put one up on my server for 600g. If you don't know, the money required to get to the point in the quest when you need this is 350g, not to mention a lot of other expensive items like arcanite bars and such. Who would think somebody is gonna pay over 950g for their epic mount? Just goes to show the epic greed and idiocy on my server anyway

if peopel keep trying to sell em for 900g why not spend an extra 18g and get a normal epic mount it is rediculous on Khadgar server at one point they were going for 500-600g each now it dropped to 200-300g thank god cuz pallys would have to spen way over 1000g if u buy one for 900g its insane.

Sold one of these for 20G on Daggerspine a few weeks back and have seen them be completely sold out more often lately. Seems like perhaps they're being grabbed up while still cheap in anticipation of their potential use for jewelcrafting. Although I'm also often seeing these for around 2G in the AH as well. Figure it's just players who don't care or realize they're possible future value. Wonder if the price will truly ever rise and stabilize? Nevertheless, I'm betting that these will go up markedly in value as the release date for the expansion approaches.

Bloodhoof has really gone downhill, 300g they were when i was level 50, and now, at lv60 when i want to buy one for the epic, they are 550g+!

Hehe, so I decided to buy the diamonds for the pally mount quest today (I'm about halfway done with it). Buyout for one of these guys was 5g on Greymane server. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Just wondering how new this item is and if anyone has found this, knows where to start searching? If it's a new item, I would suspect DM or Silithus, but if anyone has firm evidence, I would love to know. Some of the new Librams require this now.

Any knowledge would be good to share here, and if I find anything out, I will post what I've learned.

Worth 900g? Of course not, I hate how people ridiculously overprice these things, sure some are needed for pally epic mount quest, the new 58+ shaman quest and librams which lead to rather subtle underpowered results for the networth of a reagent the price of a BoE Epic.

Gotta hate how farmers control the economy.

Dropped from an elite in stratholm. Sold it for 330g (390 buyout). Its used for the epicmount-quest for the paladin afaik.

It drops from random mobs as you can see on the droplist above.

Okay so this item drops in UBRS and I win the roll for it. Within 10 seconds, the ML stands up and the corpse he was on disappears. There was no loot message and the item is lost. GG Blizz.

Just a few weeks ago these were going for 65g-100g buyout on Korialstrasz...I spotted 2 in AH a last week listed for 35g buyout & snapped them up hoping to flip them for an easy profit. You'd see 2-4 listed at any given time, at most.

Only it looks like the joke might be on me, because over the past few days they've been listed for 35g-50g buyout pretty consistently, and it's unusual to see less than 8-10 listings every evening.

It's probably a good thing (from a "for the greater good" perspective) that Blizzard increased the drop rate on these, what with their being needed for quite a few high-level/epic quests. But as someone hoping to fund the upcoming epic mount purchase by playing the Pristine Black Diamond market, it kinda sucks :)

Found one on March 23rd. Dropped off a mob in DM everyone rolled on it and i put up question marks, meaning why r we rolling when we usually pass, so i rolled and won with a 40 some. :)

my pala toon just hit 59 and started raiding yesterday, on the first trip to scholo this baby dropped from the 3rd mob we trashed. the other pally already have epic mount so i got it. was happy.

same evening, second raid to scholo, dropped again right before we took on final boss. won roll, was extra happy.

tonight, 5man strat UD, 2 dropped consectively right at the beginning of the instance off some random mob i dont even remember name. quite a shock to see 2 diamand on screen to be rolled at the same time. won one of them, happy beyond words.

sold one of them for 300g and selling another one tomorrow. nice timing as i've just brought 20 arcanite bars to make reaper. enough spare money to get crusader on it now. :)

The drop rate for these babies has been increased immensly since Zul Gurub came out, because almost everyone needs one to make some of the class set armor that you can earn with Zandalar faction. opn my server the average price has fallen from over 200 each to about 20-30 last I looked at them. I got mine from a scarlet strat run for free though, I was a happy paladin.

Got one of these a few days ago, dropped off the imp that drops the key in DM, first instance. I dont know how much its worth, but judging by ive never seen one before, and none on AH....a pretty penny. One of the quest rewards requiring this item is also filled with inquiry. What exactly does haste do, and should I save this for that, or should i go ahead and sell it for lotsa cash?

100g a piece. Really, anymore than 150g is outrageous and these usually are found in packs on the Auction Houses. So if you're actually paying more than that; you've been scammed.
And if there are not more than 10 of these up on AH every week, change server.

Its a pretty rare drop in a few instances. Needed for the pally epic mount quest. Only 2 people have ever found one on my server. lucky them.

Seriously though anyone thinking of starting the pally epic mount quest should think again because it really isn't worth the hassle when you can just pay 900g for one. I'm already too far in :( .

I dont believe the price has been recently spiked because of the epic mount quests. I believe i read somewhere that the diamonds were needed for the new class enchants... so ya thats why prices are going up

On Kargath server i see them drop almost every day now. The last one i had i found hard to get rid of for 20g. There are ALWAYS 15+ on the AH...

Hi! So if you're in Classic WoW Phase 1 and happened upon one of these, you're probably wondering, what do you do with them, or when can you use them?

In phase 1.... nothing! There is no use in Phase 1.
BUT, when phase 2 rolls around, this item becomes OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. These will be the ONLY way to get head and leg enchantments, outside of armor kits, and they're a totally random drop on mobs 50+, typically more often (though still very very rare) from dungeon trash.

These also become valuable to paladins and shamans in phase 5 for some epic equipment quests and I believe Paladin's epic mounts, but we're a long ways away from Phase 5 presently.

Hold onto these gems! DON'T sell them yet, they're going to go waaaay up in price once the Phase 2 vendor arrives to trade these in for enchants.
